The All Slot Sites Verdict
Casumo is an excellent all-round casino for UK players. It performed particularly well in our analysis of its promotions program that consistently offers multiple daily opportunities to pick up cash-paying free spins. These, alongside live leaderboard tournaments, all beautifully integrated into the website and app, made our time at Casumo feel fun and rewarding. The game library is impressive too with coverage of all the major game providers and biggest jackpot networks. The only real blemishes on the scorecard were some disappointing RTP rates, particularly on Big Bass games, and mediocre customer support.

An established, independent casino with good responsible gambling tools but some negative coverage on Trustpilot.
What Is Casumo and Is It Safe?
Casumo is a well-established casino, launched in 2012 and run by Recro Limited, a gambling operator licensed in the UK on Gambling Commission account number 61549. They are also licensed in Europe and parts of North America
The site runs on an independent platform that is exclusive to Casumo rather than a white label network. That means Recro focuses exclusively on developing Casumo, no other sites. A sportsbook, provided by Kambi, was added in 2020.
| Responsible Gambling Tools | RG tools are available under ‘Limits’ in the account area and include deposit limits, loss limits, wager limits, take a break and self-exclude. Players can exclude from Casumo via GAMSTOP, the national self-exclusion program for all gambling sites. Casumo also publishes information about how to play responsibly under its casumocares.com domain, which offers more detailed guidance than the standard responsible gambling pages found at most sites. |
| Game Audits | Casumo publishes a ‘Fairness Statement’ which includes information about game audits that confirm RTP rates and ensure random outcomes on every game event. |
| Complaints Procedure | Casumo has an official complaints procedure, although it's buried in the terms and conditions and not signposted anywhere on the website. eCOGRA is nominated as Alternative Dispute Resolution provider for complaints that cannot be resolved internally. |
| Data Handling | Casumo publish a clear Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy outlining how your data is collected, handled and used in line with UK law. |
| Site Security | Casumo has a valid security certificate and runs on a secure connection. |
| Player Balance Protection | Unlike many other licensed UK casinos, Casumo does NOT keep player balances in a segregated account to provide protection in case of insolvency. This is the lowest level of customer balance protection defined under UK Gambling Commission rules and it means if Casumo went into administration, it would NOT be guaranteed that you would get your money back. |
Casumo Subject To a Fine in 2021
In 2021 Casumo was subject to a £6 million fine for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings. This is a significant blemish on Casumo’s record and we do factor it into our Safety and Trust score. However, we also note that the operator set up enhanced AML and safer gambling procedures following the sanction and continues to operate with oversight from the Gambling Commission.
What Do Players Say About Casumo?
Casumo’s reputation across authority forums and review platforms is mixed.
On Trustpilot it has accrued over 2,400 reviews since 2017 and has an overall Trustscore of 1.9/5. This is poor. A significant number of negative reviews refer to delays to withdrawals caused by verification checks. This is not something we experienced ourselves during testing. However, it’s hard to ignore the pattern of complaints there which suggests this may be an area where there is room for improvement at Casumo.
On AskGamblers Casumo fares better with an average score of 7.7/10 from 300 player reviews. We found a lot of positive comments there about the site’s interface, game selection, mobile experience, and generally reliable withdrawals.

The choice of payment options at Casumo is good, covering debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill, and Instant Banking. The minimum deposit and withdrawal threshold are fair too at £10 for both deposits and withdrawals, and with no fees applied to either.
Here is a summary of the cashier options, fees and limits at Casumo.

How Fast Are Withdrawals at Casumo?
Withdrawals are quick. Each of three payments we requested were approved in under 11 minutes.
The cashier interface is clear and easy to follow too. Our withdrawal was labelled as ‘pending’ until processed when it switched to ‘completed’ and the transaction history provided a neat summary of recent payments in a clear format.

A generous loyalty program where free spins deals with winnings in cash drop daily, sometimes twice, and tournaments have real time leaderboards.
Is There A Sign-Up Offer At Casumo?
The current welcome offer at Casumo is a 50% match bonus up to £100 on a minimum of a £20 deposit. The bonus carries 10× wagering on the bonus amount only, which is standard under UK regulation. There is no maximum cashout cap on winnings once wagering is complete.
The big advantage of an offer like this is that you have flexibility on how you can spend your bonus. Unlike free spins, it is not tied to a small selection of games.
The value of this bonus is also much higher than most free spins deals, with up to £100 to claim. For example, in comparison, 100 spins worth 10p each add up to only £10 in total.
How Does The Casumo Welcome Offer Compare To Other Sites?
| Site | Offer | Wagering Requirements | Min Deposit / Wager | Win Limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Casumo | 50% up to £100 | 10x bonus value | £20 / £0 | No Limit |
| MrQ | 100 Free Spins | None | £10 / £0 | No Limit |
| Midnite | 100 Free Spins | None | £20 / £20 | No Limit |
| PlayOJO | 80 Free Spins | None | £10 / £20 | No Limit |
| Kwiff Casino | 200 Free Spins | None | £10 / £20 | £250 |
| Pub Casino | 50 Free Spins | None | £10 / £10 | No Limit |
What Are Ongoing Promotions Like At Casumo?
Casumo have done a great job of creating a genuinely fun promotions program. It’s all about frequent small incentives with the opportunity to claim free spins more than once on most days.
It’s all very well integrated into the site and app too so that you can track progress and stack up your valuables (free spins) to be activated when you want to use them. It’s much more advanced than what you see at other casinos and makes earning and claiming rewards exciting too.
The only drawback is that it might feel a bit overwhelming for some players – it can get confusing with all the offers running at the same time. But for us, it worked, and you can always choose not to opt in if you prefer.

Umodays, Umoquests and the Spinumo Wheel
The flagship promotions are the Umodays which were available every day during our test period. We could claim 10 or 25 spins for a £20 or £40 deposit or wager. That flexibility was a plus because sometimes we just wanted to play through what we had rather than funding our account again.
The number of spins available through these offers isn’t huge. However, the winnings are always paid in cash and without a win limit. That makes them good value compared to the offers at other sites where winnings are paid in bonus funds.
Alongside Umodays were Umoquests, which are mission-based promotions. At one time during testing we had 11 available in our account. They included simple things like log in 3 days in a row to earn 10 spins on Sweet Bonanza, or more complex tasks like hit five 100x multipliers on any slot to earn 25 spins on Wild Swarm. We didn’t have to opt in and each mission had a little tracker bar displayed underneath it in the account to show how far we had to go to complete.
And on top of that we could spin the Spinumo wheel every day we logged in, and twice if we deposited. The wheel awards between 0 and 100 free spins, once again with winnings in cash.
Adventure Mode Loyalty Program
There is also a simple level up loyalty program. Points are awarded for registration, log ins, deposits, wagering and big wins, and this counts towards progression along a progress bar which unlocks a new level when completed. At each new level, new valuables – free spins or cash – are awarded.
This nicely compliments the daily deals, although rewards at each new level are not pre-defined so you don’t know in advance what you’ll get.
Umoboards
We also took part in leaderboard promotions called Umoboards which usually lasted 2 to 3 days.
They felt fairer than the leaderboards at other sites because the scoring is based on win ratio rather than total wagering. With our low stakes play – 10p or 20p per spin – we had an equal opportunity to climb the board as the player wagering £5 per spin.
The prize pool is typically £2,500 spread over 150 players which is fair too, giving lots of players the chance to walk away with something. The only caveat is that the field is big. One Umoboard we entered had 777 players.
The integration into the website and app is impressive. Leaderboard positions are in real time, with in-game alerts when you move up or down. You can browse the tournament rules, prize structure, current positions and eligible games from the promotions area too, and we could opt in for free with one click to enter the race.

Which Slots and Game Providers Does Casumo Have?
Casumo’s game library is powered by 105 game providers with no shortage of quality. We found all our favourite providers including big names like NetEnt, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming, Pragmatic Play and Play n Go as well as smaller providers like Print Studios and Thunderkick.
There are over 3,000 slots to choose from including lots of classics like Book of Dead, Starburst and Bonanza, and the latest releases like Dead or Alive 3, Cod of Thunder and Le Bunny. The Megaways list is impressive too with over 200 titles to select from including Temple Tumble Megaways and Eye of Horus Megaways.

Game searches are best done by game name or game provider. Casumo do a lot of work dividing games into sections like Game of the Week, Top Slots, Community Picks, Trending or New. This helps to highlight popular games, although all those categories can start to feel a bit confusing. After all, what is a Community Pick?
We would have preferred more filters to search by things like volatility level or max win. That said, there was a good personalisation feature that allowed us to save a game to our favourites, as well as go back to recently played slots.
| Classics | Big Bass Splash, Starburst, Wild Swarm, Moon Princess, Book of Dead, Fire Joker, 9 Pots of Gold, Book of Ra, Sweet Bonanza, Sweet Alchemy |
| Megaways | Temple Tumble Megaways, Eye of Horus Megaways, Extra Chilli Megaways, The Dog House Megaways, Gonzo's Quest Megaways, Fluffy Favourites Megaways |
| High Max Win | Starburst XXXtreme (200,000x), Peking Luck (180,000x), San Quentin 2: Death Row (200,000x), Dead or Alive 3 (33,333x). True Grit Redemption 2 (34,000x) |
| Series | Big Bass, Fishin' Frenzy, Money Train, Beat The Beast, Cash Truck, Big Bamboo, Jammin Jars, Pirots, Mega Moolah |
What Are RTP Rates Like?
A real mixture - some are competitive, but several big titles run at low rates.
We sampled 25 slots. Big Bass games were all at the lower end of the scale including Big Bass Bonanza and Big Bass Splash both at 92.05%. We also noted Book of Dead disappointingly low at 91.25%. However, NetEnt’s Dead or Alive was running at 96.82% and Hacksaw Gaming’s Le Cowboy at 94.31%, which is better than we see at White Hat Gaming sites we have tested, for example.
Casumo aren’t particularly transparent in this area. They do not publish RTP rates anywhere on the website or game loading screens. Instead, we had to load up a game and browse to the rules pages to find the data.
| Slot Game | Slot Provider | RTP Rate at Casumo |
|---|---|---|
| Dead or Alive | NetEnt | 96.82% |
| Warrior Ways | Hacksaw Gaming | 94.42% |
| Deadly 5 | Push Gaming | 94.35% |

Does Casumo Have Progressive Jackpots?
Yes, and the selection is excellent. There are more than 250 games. They can be found using the menu filter feature. Each of these networks is covered:
- Mega Moolah (Games Global)
- WowPot! (Games Global)
- Dream Drop (Relax Gaming)
- Jackpot King (Blueprint Gaming)
- Mega Fortune (NetEnt)
- Age of the Gods (Playtech)
- Megapays (Big Time Gaming)
- Daily Drop and Must Drop (Red Tiger)
- Casumo Exclusives (available on 24 different classic slots)
Exclusive Casumo Jackpots are also available on games like Starburst, Book of Dead and Big Bass Bonanza. These are opt-in jackpots with 10% added onto the player’s stake if they choose to play for them. There are four in total – Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. The Mega is seeded at £90,000 and regularly tops £1,000,000.
What Live Dealer and Virtual Tables Are Available?
Once again, the breadth of choice here is very strong. Casumo works with the top 3 game providers in this area – Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play and Playtech – as well as Creed Roomz, a smaller studio who run exclusive Casumo-branded tables. Most casinos work with just one or two providers for live casino so Casumo is giving you more choice.
We were particularly impressed with the blackjack tables of which there are 100s, with stakes from 50p upwards and formats including Speed Blackjack and Bet Behind Blackjack. Other highlights include the gameshows like Monopoly Live and Sweet Bonanza Candyland.

The virtual table selection is less impressive. We could only find a limited selection of blackjacks, roulettes, craps, baccarats and video pokers via the home page or the live category. These include Evolution Gaming’s First Person Roulette and Relax Gaming’s Roulette.
Slingo, Scratchcards, Crash Game and Instants
Casumo does have an instant win selection too. However, it’s not that easy to find these games unless you know what you are looking for as there is no category or filter for them. They include plinko, bingo, keno, scratchcards and patchinko. There are also around 50 Slingo titles to try including branded games like Slingo Rainbow Riches, Slingo Lobstermania and Slingo Cleopatra.

A very good casino on both website and app, where cashier, games and promotions are all beautifully integrated.
What’s The Website Like?
Casumo has a bright, modern interface that sets it apart from traditional betting brands, with an emphasis on fun rather than serious gambling. The busy style can feel quite hard to navigate at first, but we quickly settled into it. In fact, browsing the lobby and account areas was intuitive, making it easy to manage limits, view transactions, access promotions, and search for games using the built-in filtering tools.
Site performance was generally good although we did hit one or two broken pages, including one related to withdrawal policies. Webpage loading times were particularly fast and over the period in which we tested the site there were never any slow periods or down time.
| Page | Average Load Time | Speed Benchmarking |
|---|---|---|
| Home Page | 1.01s | Fast |
| Game Lobby | 0.96s | Fast |
| Promotions Page | 0.82s | Fast |
Does Casumo Have a Mobile App?
Yes, Casumo can also be accessed via a mobile app for both iOS and Android. We tested the iOS version on an iPhone 17 with iOS 26.3 installed.
The app downloaded and installed in under a minute. It offered the same functionality as the desktop platform, including access to deposits, withdrawals, promotions, and account controls. The design is smart too. For example, when playing a slot we could click the Umo icon in the top left of the screen and bring up options to deposit, open live chat or view live Umoboard positions without closing the game. That’s really helpful if you have an issue and don’t want to interrupt your session.

On the App Store Casumo has a rating of 4.1/5 from 1.5k reviews. On Google Play it is rated 4.1/5 from 1.4k reviews which is a strong positive signal that players enjoy the experience too.

Basic support service with AI and real agents but limited on-site help pages.
At Casumo customer support is available 24/7 on live chat and email but there is no telephone or SMS option.
We tested the support service, contacting them on live chat. Like many online gambling operators, Casumo uses an AI assistant to filter customers. The quality can vary from site to site and unfortunately this one was a little frustrating. It could give scripted, FAQ style answers to basic questions, but got stuck on account-specific queries. That’s fine if it quickly calls in a real agent, but it wasn’t always ready to do that. On two occasions we had to specifically ask to speak to someone.
At least when we were put through to a real person the experience was good. We got detailed answers for our account queries and specific questions related to a promotion we were wagering towards.

We also contacted the team on email. Unfortunately, here the response time was not impressive. It took 13 hours to receive a response to a simple query about how the Adventure Mode Loyalty Program works.
There is an FAQs page too, but it is very limited. It contains just 5 questions relating to withdrawal times, verification and wagering requirements. This is far less comprehensive than help centres offered by other leading UK casino operators and its surprising that an operator of this size does not do more in this area.
