About This Site

Dream Vegas is one of a group of sites from White Hat Gaming, including the Egyptian-themed Temple Nile, that all arrived in the UK in 2018 and have since proved themselves to be hugely popular amongst punters here. This one of course takes its inspiration from the capital of gambling in the states, Las Vegas. It has a suitably glitzy feel and welcomes in new players with a generous welcome package with spins and bonuses. White Hat is an operation with a strong reputation whose new slot sites we are always excited to be promoting.

Highlights of Dream Vegas

  • Over 2,500 games
  • Promotions built for high spenders
  • Paypal accepted
  • Part of White Hat Gaming group – a trusted operator
  • Up to £300 and 150 spins with first deposit

Across the Web – More Dream Vegas Reviews

Dream Vegas has an average rating of 2/5 from 239 reviews on Trust Pilot.

This is a poor score. Reading through the reviews on the Trust Pilot site it seems that most complaints are about high wagering requirements and withdrawals delayed as the company processes account verification documents. We agree that the wagering requirements at Dream Vegas are higher than average (35x on the bonus PLUS the deposit) and we discuss this point in our review. However, we did not find account verification to be slow. Our documents were reviewed and approved in under 24 hours. We do, however, recommend that you do this as soon as you sign up to avoid delays when you make your first withdrawal.

Is Dream Vegas Legit?

Yes, Dream Vegas is a legit casino owned and operated by White Hat Gaming who are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming `Authority.

Here are their license details:

White Hat Gaming is a global operation and their casinos take bets from players in many countries. In the UK they operate 33 casino domains.

Regulatory Action

In 2019 White Hat Gaming was fined £1.3 million by the UK Gambling Commission for anti-money laundering and responsible gambling failings. You can read a statement of facts about the case on the UK GC website. Since then there has been no further action taken against this operator.

Design and Website Performance

Let’s start by saying that the website looks good. The name Dream Vegas is a mix of aspirational and iconic and the imagery of the Vegas skyline on the home page looks sharp, as do the three croupiers dressed to kill. There is nothing new or innovative about the brand but if you like gambling and you like Vegas then you’ll enjoy it.

The website loads quickly on both desktop and mobile and I was able to find my way to important pages like Promotions, Terms and Conditions and Support with one click from the home page.

The game menu itself looks great. The black background really makes the game logos stand out and the name of the game providers has been added to each one so you can see who built it which is a cool feature I have not seen elsewhere.

Sign-Up At Dream Vegas

Registration is via a 3-step form requiring the usual details including mobile number, email, date of birth and full address. As with most sites the address auto-completes once you have filled in the first line which is useful in getting the job done quickly. However, when I hit submit initially I got caught in a loop where the form refreshed a few times with my information still on it.

This wasn’t a great start and it slowed my registration down and would likely cause trust issues for some players. However, after hitting submit a few times I was in. It took about 2 minutes to sign up in total.

Account Verification at Dream Vegas

Anyone who plays regularly at UK slot sites will know that account verification can be a nuisance. Fortunately, operators have improved this part of their service in recent years and you can usually upload the required documents through your account pages rather than on email. They are also quicker to process the verification than they used to be.

This was certainly the case at Dream Vegas.

Initially I was able to deposit and play £20 without providing any documents. Checks are carried out behind the scenes against publicly available databases to verify my age is over 18 and my address matches with my name.

I also tested the ‘Upload your identity documents’ link in my account, uploading a scan of my passport and utility bills. These were processed in under 24 hours. This is about standard in the UK now. Like withdrawals, some sites are quicker than others, but Dream Vegas is on par with its competitors.

Bonuses and Promotions

Sign Up Offer

The current sign up offer at Dream Vegas is in two parts:

  • 100% up to £300 Bonus
  • Up to 150 spins on NetEnt slots

The number of spins you get depends on how much you fund on your first deposit:

  • Up to £100 gets you 50 spins on Starburst or Aloha! Cluster Pays
  • Up to £200 gets you 100 spins on Starburst, Aloha! Cluster Pays, Gonzo’s Quest or Twin Spin
  • Up to £300 gets you 150 spins on any eligible NetEnt slot

The minimum deposit required to qualify for the bonus is £20. Any winnings you receive from your free spins are capped at £100 and credited as bonus funds and there is a minimum withdrawal of £20. There is also a 35x wagering requirement on the value of your bonus PLUS your deposit before any winnings can be withdrawn.

Is this a good offer?

Initially I liked this offer. Up to £300 and 150 bonus spins is competitive in a market that has changed considerably in the last 5 years. Bumper bonus packages in the £1,000s are a thing of the past, with most deals capped at £100. So, the headline figure of £300 here is good.

However, dig beneath the surface and the terms make this offer less appealing. A £20 minimum deposit is a high bar for some. I prefer offers that start at £10. You can get these at Casumo or BacanaPlay right now. Also, the 35x wagering requirement on the bonus and deposit is higher than almost any other offer we know of. Try Play OJO (free spins with no wagering requirements) or Casumo (30x bonus) for a better deal.

I think the choice of slots here for the free spins is quite boring too. These are popular slots which is why they are chosen, but we’ve had Starburst free spins for a decade or more now. Why not shake things up a bit? Right now you can get Book of Dead spins from Duelz Casino for example, which is my preference.

In summary, this is a good headline offer but what Dream Vegas gives with one hand, it takes with the other, with terms that are really tough to fulfil. You’ll get good play time from this bonus but very little chance of walking away with any winnings at the end.

What Happened When I Claimed the Bonus?

I deposited £20 with Mastercard. There were no fees and the funds were available immediately. I received a £20 bonus and 50 spins on Starburst as expected. I played this through and won £4.80!

50 Free Spins on Starburst

I get 50 free spins to play Starburst

During my time claiming and spending the free spins I experienced multiple issues with the account pages. They were NOT easy to navigate and information is not displayed clearly.

Here is what I found:

  • My bonus is displayed under ‘Account Details’ but due to the huge list of available games it is hard to read. I had to scroll down a long way to view the bonus details and wagering requirements, as you can see in the screen shot below, and it wasn’t immediately obvious from this page that I had 50 spins to play. I had to open up Starburst to see that they were available. As a regular slot player this was not a problem, but for those who don’t understand how free spins work this could be an issue.
  • To see how much I had wagered so far I opened my account page and viewed account history. Here, you have to manually input the date range – there is not pop-up calendar to choose dates from. This might seem like a small point but its inconvenient and surely unnecessary.
  • It is not clear how much more wagering you must do to meet the requirements. Other sites show you a remaining amount that you must wager. But not here. This was confirmed by customer support who said I must calculate the amount myself.
  • At other points I found that I had navigated to a dead end and had to close the account section and re-launch it to arrive back at the home page. This is a basic usability issue and I was surprised to find that a White Hat Gaming site would be built with these flaws in it.

Overall, these are significant flaws in one of the most important aspects of the website and it was a disappointing part of my experience.

More Promotions at Dream Vegas

There are a few regular offers for Dream Vegas players too. These are ‘prize giveaways’ with different sized prize pools depending on how much you deposit per month.

There is a £30,000 prize draw for anyone who plays the slots and live tables each month. Each £1 you wager earns you more tickets in the draw.

There is a £10,000 give away that is built for bigger spenders. You need to be depositing £500 per month to enter this one.

And there is a Mini Vegas Weekly £500 give away for those who deposit £100 during each week. Ten winners are chosen each week at random to take a £50 prize each.

These are nice offers but the bar to entry is very high again. There is nothing advertised on the site for the player who deposits and plays just £20 each week. However, you should expect bespoke offers sent through on email and SMS if you opt in giving you free spins and deposit bonuses so look out for these.

Slot Game and Software

This is a White Hat Gaming site so the slots selection is a very high quality from a massive range of suppliers. There are more than 100 developers supplying games to the White Hat platform so whatever your taste is you will be catered for here. Big names on the list include NetEnt, Microgaming, WMS, Play n Go, Blueprint Gaming, IGT and Red Tiger. But there are also many of our favourite smaller suppliers to like No Limit City, Hacksaw Gaming, Thunderkick and Yggdrasil.

Browsing the menu was so easy too. There are some top level categories you can jump into like Popular, New Games and Drop and Win. Or you can click to see the full list of game providers if you prefer to search that way. Or even just search by game name to dive straight into your favourite.

Here are 10 of the best slot games to play at Dream Vegas:

  • Release the Kraken 2 by Pragmatic Play
  • Starburst by NetEnt
  • Book of Dead by Play n Go
  • Bonanza by Big Time Gaming
  • Immortal Romance by Microgaming
  • Temple Tumble by Relax Gaming
  • Rainbow Riches Pick n Mix by Scientific Gaming
  • The Goonies Return by Blueprint Gaming
  • Money Train 2 by Relax Gaming
  • Fat Banker by Push Gaming

Other Games at Dream Vegas

The Live Dealer experience at Dream Vegas comes from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play who are leading the industry right now in this vertical.  Here are the highlights of the live tables.

  • Live Blackjack – 52 tables from Pragmatic Play (stakes £1 to £100) and two from Evolution Gaming (Blackjack First Person and Live Blackjack).
  • Live Roulette – 10 tables from Pragmatic Play (stakes 10p to £5,000) and three from Evolution Gaming including Lighting Roulette.
  • Live Baccarat – 25 tables from Pragmatic Play with stakes from 10p
  • Live Gameshows – including Crazy Time and Dream Catcher

Cashier Options

Whilst the cashier was not particularly well built – it doesn’t look as slick as the rest of the site and I have already covered off the usability issues I faced earlier in this review – it does at least offer a wide range of payment services with no fees.

Here are the deposit options:

This is a good range of payment services and certainly covers my favourites. I do, however, take issue with the minimum deposit and withdrawals. This is discriminatory towards those wanting to play with smaller deposits and quite unusual. If you are looking for a £10 minimum deposit casino then we suggest you try a site like Casumo instead.

How long do withdrawals take at Dream Vegas?

I made two withdrawals from my account at Dream Vegas. One with Paypal and one with Mastercard. The withdrawals were made at 8.30am on a Wednesday morning. They were processed at 10.30am on the following day.

The withdrawal time was 26 hours.

Our Verdict

Dream Vegas scores highly for its excellent slots catalogue but the users experience was not without its issues. Here is a summary of our thoughts on the pros and cons of this site:

What We Liked

  • Huge slots catalogue that includes all our favourite games and game providers. Few other operators can match this.
  • Account verification was quickly processed.
  • The search and filter menu for the games was really intuitive and helpful to find slots we wanted to play.
  • The sign-up offer is higher than most competitors. £300 and 150 spins is one of the best offers for high rollers in the UK right now.

What We Didn’t Like

  • Whilst the headline offer is strong, the 35x wagering requirements and £20 minimum deposit detract from the value.
  • There were issues with the account pages that made it hard to find the information I wanted.
  • The £20 minimum deposit in the cashier doesn’t make this a good slot site for those with smaller budgets.
