White Hat Gaming Fined By The Regulator

In 2021, White Hat Gaming was fined £1.3 million by the Gambling Commission for failings relating to safer gambling and anti-money laundering processes. It committed to improving its processes in these areas as part of the settlement. There have been no further public enforcement actions against the operator.

Whilst 247Bet was not mentioned in the regulator’s report because it was not live at the time of the fine, we do take the action into account when scoring 247Bet for Safety and Trust.

247Bet is a new casino with limited coverage on forums and review sites. It's Trustpilot rating so far is poor, with a 1.7/5 Trustscore from more than 350 reviews, including over 80% scoring the site 1/5.

The most common complaints relate to slow customer support and delays with withdrawal processing, particularly when subject to advanced verification checks. We have seen similar issues in reviews of other White Hat Gaming brands.

In testing our own withdrawals were processed quickly and we didn’t experience delays with basic verification checks, though we can’t report on advanced checks because our account wasn’t subject to them. How long do withdrawals take at 247Bet?

Withdrawal processing times in our experience were not instant, but they weren’t bad.

In our tests the longest took 2 hours and 29 minutes. This is still reasonable, and the process was simple, easy to follow and transparent. We could view our transaction in a Pending Withdrawals area of the account until it was processed, which at least gives peace of mind whilst waiting.

Free spins are valid for 72 hours and winnings are paid in cash with a cap of £100. Anything over £100 will be forfeited before the winnings are transferred onto the cash balance.

This is not a bad offer, although there are better deals on the UK market right now. The £20 deposit threshold to qualify and the £100 max win limit are less enticing than some of the options listed below.

Quite poor, unfortunately.

247Bet joins the growing list of casinos that run many slots at less-than-optimal RTP rates, sometimes as much as 5% lower than the top available rate. We had to dig into the game information pages to find them too as they are not published anywhere on the website.

We sampled 25 games across seven different operators. All but one, Tombstone RIP (94.08%), was running at less than 93%. Included in our sample list were Big Bass Bonanza (92.05%), Book of Dead (91.25%) and Rome The Golden Age (91.05%).

What’s The Website Like?

This is a modern White Hat Gaming website, and in all areas it is a big improvement on the old sites in their portfolio. Visually, the dark blue background and green and white color palette are pleasing to the eye. Of course, it lacks the distinctive branding you see at large independent casinos and sportsbooks, but for a white label, it’s good quality.

We found the site easy to navigate, though on several occasions the withdrawal page came up blank and had to be re-loaded. Elsewhere, the help center opens in a new window and on a separate domain which can feel a bit disorientating, but overall the experience was good.

Is There a Mobile App for 247 Bet?

Yes, there is a mobile app for both iPhone and Android. It offers the same experience as the website with the full game catalogue, cashier options and support service.

We downloaded the app to an iPhone 17 running iOS 26. Installation took less than five seconds. Whilst generally the app ran smoothly during testing, we found it to be a bit sticky at times, particularly when navigating back from a game to the lobby or loading a new game list. Game loading times were slightly slower than on desktop too, though that is not unusual for a mobile casino.

Customer support at 247Bet is available via live chat and email on a 24/7 basis. The site does not currently offer telephone support.

Our experience with live chat during testing was poor. Response times were very slow, and on several occasions we waited so long that the site logged us out before an agent replied. On another, a message appeared saying there was a high volume of queries, and we should try again later. This poor level of service aligns with what some players have posted on Trustpilot.

We were more successful contacting the team on email. Although response times were still 2 to 3 hours, the agents answered our queries properly in each case.

Those who can’t get through to an agent at least have the option of the Help Center which has some useful articles organised by category, with a keyword search box to help find information.
