Christmas Brew is fairly packed with features, leaning heavily on wilds with multipliers that can also be sticky, and of course a free spins round. This is how it all works.
Multiplier Wilds Up To 3x
Firstly, wilds are represented by the letter W on a green bottle. These ONLY appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. They will substitute for any standard pay symbol to complete a payline, and sometimes carry 2x or 3x multiplier. The multiplier is applied to the win value of any line that passes through the wild. And it’s possible to have more than one on a line in which case their values are ADDED together before the win calculation.
Old Betty Adds More Wilds
In addition, on reels 1 and 5 you may see a symbol called Old Betty. This is a golden symbol. It is wild AND it can activate to add up to 9 more wilds to the middle 3 reels. Furthermore, if it adds a wild to a position that is already covered by a wild then that wild gets 1x added to its multiplier value.
Sticky Wilds In The Free Spins Round
There is a free spins round triggered by landing 3 of the bonus symbols on one spin. That gets you 7 plays. Now, ALL wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 are sticky throughout the round, giving you the chance to build up their multiplier and persistently win on them.
And to help you on your way, when an Old Betty lands during free spins or on the triggering spin, it upgrades to a Gold Betty which will stick throughout the round, adding more wilds on EVERY one of your free spins.
Tractor Feature
The Tractor Feature is the pinnacle of the game! This is triggered only during free spins when ALL three of the middle reels are filled with Wilds.
Now, a giant wild takes up the entirety of reels 2, 3 and 4. It takes up the total multiplier value of all the wilds that were on the reels when the feature was triggered and it counts as just ONE symbol in any win line. And, it’s multiplier value grows by 1x each time a Gold Betty adds another wild to reels.
