Our Review Process
This review was compiled using the All Slot Sites Standard methodology. It is based on real-money testing, including deposits, withdrawals, bonus claims, support interactions and gameplay across more than 20 slots and live casino games. Data from real tests is used to calculate the category and overall scores published in the scorecard below.
The All Slot Sites Verdict
BacanaPlay is a great choice for those who prioritise game variety. It has a huge slots library, strong live casino and excellent search and filter tools that make it simple to explore and find the kind of slots you like. The underlying Skill on Net platform also give lots of depth across jackpots and instant games. There are plenty of free spins deals to be had too, tiered with high number of spins for bigger spenders, albeit with winnings as bonus funds as a rule. The only significant downside we found was low RTP rates on many slots, a common issue on SkillOnNet sites.BacanaPlay Scorecard

What Is BacanaPlay and Is It Safe?
BacanaPlay is an online casino owned and operated by Skill on Net who are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission on account number 39326.
SkillOnNet is an established white label operator, founded in 2005, who run more than 40 casinos on their platform, including big brands like PlayOJO and Slingo. They are also licensed in Ontario and the US.
A long history is a good trust signal, but we also noted recent regulatory action that counts against the operator. SkillOnNet was fined £300,000 in 2023 after weaknesses were found in their anti-money laundering and social responsibility practices. Whilst this brings the score in this category down, as part of the settlement the operator agreed to tighten up in this area and with continued regulatory oversight it remains a safe company to bet with.
We also checked consumer feedback of BacanaPlay on authority forums and review sites in the UK. There are only a handful of reviews, suggesting not many players are using the site in this country. However, the Portuguese version does have a good Trustpilot profile with a TrustScore of 3.8/5 from over 2,000 reviews.
| Feature | Assessment |
| Responsible Gambling Tools | RG tools at BacanaPlay are adequate, if basic. Players can set deposit limits, session time reminders, time-outs and self-exclude. Advanced options like loss limits or net deposit limits are not available. However, there is an innovative Safe Mate feature that provides summary data and graphs of your gameplay by time periods and game type. It also shows a problem gambling risk level and how that changes over time. This is exclusive to SkillOnNet sites. |
| GAMSTOP | Players can exclude from all UK-licensed gambling sites using the GAMSTOP program accessed by a link on BacanaPlay. |
| Complaints Process | We had to dig deep to find information about how to make a complaint at BacanaPlay. The procedure is published, but only within the terms and conditions rather than on a dedicated complaints page or in the Help Centre. The operator has nominated eCOGRA as its alternative dispute resolution provider in the event of a dispute. |
| Player Balance Protection | A segregated bank account is used to hold player balances to protect them in case of insolvency. This level of protection is defined as ‘medium’ by the Gambling Commission. |
| Game Audits | All games provided to UK-licensed casinos like this one must be audited by approved test houses for fair play and reliable RTP performance. |
| Site Security | BacanaPlay has a valid site security certificate and operates over a secure connection. Two factor authentication is not available. |
Bonuses and Promotions

Score Breakdown
- 7.2Welcome Offer

A standard 100 spin sign-up deal is followed by plenty of free spins offers each week. As a rule though, winnings come as bonus funds rather than cash.
Bonuses and Promotions Key Facts
- Welcome Offer: 100 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza
- Minimum Deposit: £10
- Wagering Requirements: Winnings paid in bonus funds with 10x WR
- Ongoing Promotions: Weekly tiered deposit-based free spins offers, free roll and buy-in slots leaderboards, level-up loyalty program
Is There A Sign-Up Offer At BacanaPlay?
BacanaPlay currently offers 100 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza for a £10 deposit using the code BACANA.
This is a decent offer. Big Bass Bonanza is a well-known slot, the deposit requirement is accessible, and there is no max cashout cap, which is better than some free spins deals we see elsewhere.
However, winnings are paid as bonus funds and come with a 10x wagering requirement. In that respect, it compares less favourably with offers at other casinos in the UK market where winnings are paid in cash. You can see some of these in the table below.
How Does BacanaPlay’s Welcome Offer Compare To Other Sites?
| Site | Min Deposit | Offer | Spin Value | Total Bonus Value * | Value vs Deposit ** | Winnings Type (WR) | Max Win |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BacanaPlay | £10 | 100 Spins | 10p | £10 | 100% | Bonus (10x) | No Limit |
| Midnite | £20 | 100 Spins | 10p | £10 | 50% | Cash | No Limit |
| MrQ | £10 | 100 Spins | 10p | £10 | 100% | Cash | No Limit |
| Kwiff | £10 | 200 Spins | 10p | £20 | 200% | Cash | £250 |
| Pub Casino | £10 | 50 Spins | 20p | £10 | 100% | Cash | No Limit |
| Duelz Casino | £25 | 140 Spins | 10p | £14 | 56% | Bonus (10x) | £700 |
** Value:Deposit = value of the bonus as a percentage of the deposit when a bonus has been claimed with the minimum deposit
What Are Ongoing Promotions Like At BacanaPlay?
There are a lot of promotions for players who deposit regularly at BacanaPlay.
Whilst we were testing the site we were eligible for at least two different deposit-based free spins offers each week, and occasional no-deposit freebies. There were also leaderboards, provider-based tournaments and a level-up loyalty program.
Free Spins Deals – Winnings Paid In Bonus Funds
Free spins offers were not sign-posted in advance on the site. That meant we had to keep an eye on our in box, or turn our app notifications on, or we might miss one. The deals always followed a tiered structure, with deposits from £10 up to £60 typically earning between 25 and 175 free spins on a variety of games.
The number of free spins was larger than we have seen elsewhere, but the trade-off was that winnings are paid in bonus funds with a 10x wagering requirement, rather than cash. This appears to be the policy at BacanaPlay. If you want free spin without wagering requirements, you can try PlayOJO (another Skill on Net site) or MrQ (an independent casino).

Level Ups Loyalty Program
BananaPlay also run a loyalty program called MyLevels. As we wagered we earned points to progress towards the next level, tracked by a progress bar on the home page. At each new level a reward MAY be issued, but it’s not guaranteed.
As an example, we got 10 spins on Book of Books from Peter and Sons when we completed one level.
One thing to note is that there is no transparency around the ratio of wagering to points or what will be awarded at each level. This is how BacanaPlay choose to run their loyalty program. So, if you want to know exactly how your wagering converts to levels, this won’t be for you. Some White Hat Gaming casinos are more transparent in this area, including Dream Vegas.

Buy-In and Freeroll Leaderboards
Other promotions include daily £1 buy-in and freeroll slots leaderboards with cash prizes and free spins. The buy-ins are interesting because you play with tournament spins rather than your balance, accruing points for your wins.
You can monitor your position on the leaderboard and buy-in as many times as you like to try to climb to the top. For the freerolls we saw over 1,000 players entering, so the chances of hitting the top 10 and qualifying for a prize were low.

What Slot Games Are Available?
With over 7,800 slots from more than 70 providers in the list you won’t find many casinos with more choice. There are slots of every type from low variance classics like Starburst up to the very highest volatility, high max win games like Nolimit City’s Tombstone Slaughter (500,000x max win).
| Classics | Starburst, Book of Dead, Gates of Olympus, Reactoonz, Rainbow Riches, Gonzo's Quest |
| Megaways | Buffalo King Megaways, Temple of Treasure Megaways, Primal Megaways |
| High Max Win | Tombstone Slaughter (500,000x), San Quentin 2 (200,000x), Max Megaways 2 (147,620x) |
| Series | Big Bass, Fishin' Frenzy, Pirots, Tropicool, Money Train, Rich Wilde |
What made this site particularly fun to test out is the game filter functions which gave us lots of options to narrow down our search and explore game types. With a list this big that is essential but not many casinos get it right. Here, we could filter in stages. For example, we started by looking for New slots, then selected a few providers we liked, then only games with a 5 star player rating. That led us to Hacksaw Gaming’s latest release, the World Cup themed, Le Football Fan.
Clicking a logo also brought up information about a game including paylines, reels and max bet so we could learn a bit more about it before choosing whether to go ahead and play.

What Are RTP Rates Like?
Sadly, a great slots list is let down by some poor RTP rates.
We sampled 25 popular games across studios including Pragmatic Play, Play n Go and Nolimit City. Whilst Big Bass Splash (94.6%) and Big Bamboo (94.08%) were set to reasonable rates, other popular titles including Book of Dead (91.25%) and Starburst (92.05%) were operating at much lower RTP levels.
RTP rates are published in the games themselves, but they are not available within the game menu or any page on the website which makes searching by RTP a lot more difficult.

Does BacanaPlay Have Progressive Jackpots?
Yes, the progressive jackpot selection is excellent. BacanaPlay publishes a ticker with a total of all current prizes on it. We noted a figure of £39,868,341.85 on 1st October 2026. That gives you some idea of the scale of this part of the game library.
There are over 750 games in total. They include the biggest networked games like Games Global’s Mega Moolah and WowPots and Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop slots. There are also many smaller progressives like Blueprint Gaming’s Rapid Fire jackpots.
Summary Of Biggest Progressive Jackpot Options at BacanaPlay
| Jackpot Group | Provider | Starting Jackpot | Game Option |
|---|---|---|---|
| Age of the Gods | Playtech | £100,000 | Apollo Power |
| Mega Moolah | Games Global | £1,000,000 | Book of Mega Moolah |
| WowPot | Games Global | £1,000,000 | Sisters of Oz WowPot |

| Mega Jackpots | IGT | £500,000 | Cleopatra |
What About Live Dealer and Virtual Tables?
The live dealer selection is equally strong. It features tables and gameshows from Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play and Playtech as well as a selection of less high-profile studios like Stakelogic and Inspired Gaming.
That is significantly more choice than found at almost any other licensed casinos we have reviewed. On 1st October 2026, across all the providers we counted 614 blackjacks and 149 roulettes, with stakes starting from 10p.
Live Casino Options at BacanaPlay
| Game | No of Tables / Games | Stake Options | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | 614 | From 50p | Vegas Live Blackjack, Speed Blackjack |
| Roulette | 149 | From 10p | Gates of Olympus Roulette, Disco Roulette |
| Baccarat / Sic Bo | 148 | From 20p | Speed Baccarat, Grand Baccarat |
| Poker | 14 | From 10p | Casino Hold 'Em, 3 Card Brag |
| Gameshows | 87 | From 10p | Treasure Island, Ice Fishing |

The virtual table selection was harder to identify because these are mixed in with the live listings. However, we estimate over 50 including high quality blackjacks like First Person Blackjack from Evolution Gaming.
Are There Any Other Games?
Under ‘Instants’ BacanaPlay lists a mix of more than 200 Slingo, scratchcards, plinko, crash games and arcade games. The range is better than most sites offer and nicely curated with sub-categories for each game type laid out clearly in the menu.

Were There Any Performance Issues With The Games?
We monitored load times across 20 games whilst testing BacanaPlay. Generally, games were fast to load, averaging 3.9 seconds on the app and 5.1 seconds on desktop.
That said, three games did fail to load, returning either a blank screen or a broken link, including a favourite of ours, Hacksaw Gaming’s Le Fisherman. Each time, when we came back the next day the games worked fine so these don’t appear to have been long-term problems. However, it was frustrating when it happened.
Gameplay itself was smooth. We never saw any lags or crashes on slots, live tables or gameshows.

What Deposit and Withdrawal Options Are There?
BacanaPlay supports debit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Trustly and instant bank transfer for deposits and withdrawals. This covers the most popular options, but it’s a narrower line up than some casinos, particularly without Google Pay or Paysafecard.
The minimum deposit is £10, making the site accessible for players who like to start with smaller deposits. However, a £20 minimum on withdrawals feels unfair. We wanted to test a withdrawal at £10 but were unable to.
At least there are no fees, which is a plus.

| Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | £20 | 0% | 1 minute | 1 minute |
**Withdrawal Time = actual time to receive your money, including clearing by the payment service.
How Fast Are Withdrawals?
We made one withdrawal of £20 to Paypal. This was processed in under a minute and appeared in our eWallet at the same time.
During the few seconds it took to process the payment 3 progress bars appeared on the app screen saying, ‘Checking’, then ‘Processing’, then ‘Complete’. It makes the process feel transparent.

It’s worth saying that whilst our fast withdrawal is a good indication of the service level in this area, it’s not a guarantee every payment will move this quickly. The help area of the site quotes ‘a few hours’ as a typical timeframe. Verification checks and issues with payment providers can slow things down too.

A bright, cheerful website, fast to load, but there are a few minor usability issues.
How Is BacanaPlay’s Website?
BacanaPlay’s website uses the familiar SkillOnNet template, so anyone who has played at sister sites like PlayOJO will recognise the basic layout straight away. The design is bright, modern and easy enough to navigate. Overall, it has the feel of a fun gaming platform rather than serious high-end gambling.
Like many white labels it’s not perfect. Whilst page and game load times were fast, we did encounter a few usability issues where the quality of the navigation and content was inconsistent. The most noticeable example was when the Help link disappeared after we logged in, so we could no longer access FAQs. And whilst browsing terms and conditions and safer gambling pages, text formatting was messy and footer navigation disappeared.
These things are not deal breakers, but they indicate that BacanaPlay isn’t amongst the top tier of SkillOnNet brands.

Does BacanaPlay Have a Mobile App?
Yes, there is a mobile app available from the App Store and Google Play. We downloaded and installed it to an iPhone 17 with iOS 26. It took less than 30 seconds.
We tested the iPhone version. The overall design is clean and easy to use. The game lists are very readable as game thumbnails are well spaced out, and overall browsing to games we wanted was easy. When using the filter menu, the close button sat partly off-screen, making it awkward to dismiss at times, but that was the only significant usability issue we found.

Frustrating times dealing with an AI agent, but the real ones were quick to respond on handover and dealt with our questions efficiently.
Customer Support Key Facts
- Contact Options: Live chat, email
- Live Chat Contact Hours: 24/7
- Average Live Chat Response Time: 1 to 2 minutes
- Help Centre: Good FAQs, but only available via live chat app once logged in
BacanaPlay offers 24/7 live chat and email support. This is the basic level of access most casinos offer. Our experience with the service was mixed.
The live chat is fronted by an AI assistant called Marcus. For simple questions it works reasonably well and can point you towards basic account or bonus information quickly enough. However, when we raised a more specific issue around document verification, things became frustrating. The assistant struggled to deal with the query properly, we got stuck in a loop, and the AI layer ended up adding friction rather than solving the problem. Eventually we were put through to an agent who resolved the issue in minutes.

Our experience using email was better. When we contacted support about Mega Spins credits, we received a reply within 8 minutes, which is a very good response time by casino standards. The answer was clearer and more useful than the automated live chat responses, and it left a better overall impression of the support team.
BacanaPlay also has a decent FAQ section covering common topics such as account issues, bonuses and verification. However, during testing the Help link disappeared when we were logged in, which is very poor usability.
