The Gold Rush Trail With Mining Cart Makes This A Unique Dream Drop Game

Mining themed slots are nothing new, but 4ThePlayer manages to shake up the theme in their usual way. For this game they’ve inserted a board game style square around the main play grid. This mining track idea is truly genius and doesn’t only look great, it allows for lots of cool features too.

The underground mine, complete with gems, gold, and a yellow canary is crisp and clear, just as you’d expect from a 4ThePlayer title. There’s everything to like about the design of this game, it’s only the relatively common theme that loses it a couple of points.

Symbols and Paytable

On the 5x4 grid, you’ll find 1,024 ways to win. This is a win ways slot game - matching symbols can land on any row as long as they start from the left side of the grid and land on adjacent reels. You’ll need at least 3 matching symbols to win.

There are 10 pay symbols, 5 of which are playing cards, the remainder are all mining themed. Low value symbols are the cards, starting from 0.2x your bet for 3x symbols, up to 1.5x your bet for 5x symbols. Gold Rush Trail

All around the edge of the play grid is the Gold Rush Trail. You’ll notice that a little mining cart sits on it, hoping to be filled with gold. The good news is, you can move the mining cart a step closer to its goal every time scatter symbol modifiers are revealed. 

When a scatter symbol lands, the reels spin to reveal one of the following effects:

• Move X – move a certain number of spaces in the specified direction.
• Restart – the cart moves to the start and you get the prize that’s shown on the start square.
• Cash Prize – you get a surprise cash prize.
• Dream Drop – you get to play the Dream Drop jackpot game.
• Collect – awards the whole value of the prize square, then sends the cart back to the start.

Further note on the collect symbol: If the collect symbol lands then you can win cash, free spins, a mystery prize of the DD jackpot game. The mystery prize displays three gems, pick one to reveal any of the prize types above.
