A Classic Fruit Machine Theme With Vibrant Visuals and Audio

Perhaps the only area where Dueling Jokers Dream Drop doesn’t really break the mould is in its design and artwork. It takes a very traditional theme and doesn’t mess with it too much. The symbols are what you’d expect from a classic fruit machine: horseshoe, four-leafed clover, diamond, cherry, lucky number 7, and a lemon thrown in too. And the setting is a glitzy gameshow stage complete with sparkly backdrop.

There’s a fun neon effect to the grid and the symbols which is a nice touch. Everything is crisp and clean. If you enjoy classic slots, you’ll love it, but those looking for something a little more unusual might be slightly disappointed.

RTP and Variance

Most of the slots on the Dream Drops network have an RTP of 94%. Considering that 12% of every spin goes directly to the progressive jackpot pool, that RTP actually seems pretty fair. Symbols and Paytable

Played on an 8×8 grid, this game uses a cluster pays mechanic. This means that you need at least five matching symbols to appear on a spin, and they must all be touching each other (a ‘cluster’) for it to payout.

There are 6 pay symbols in the table total, plus a joker which is a wild, a free spins symbol, and a fortune coin. We’ll talk about those last three in the next part of the review.

The low-value symbols are the lemons, cherries and four leaf clover, which are worth 0.1x your stake for 5 cherries, up to 6x your stake for 15 or more clovers. The premium symbols are the horseshoe, diamond and lucky 7 which is worth up to 10x your stake for 15 or more in a cluster.

Wild Joker

The first feature is the Wild Joker and it appears A LOT. This can be substituted for any symbol to complete clusters, except free spins symbols. If a Wild Joker is used in a winning cluster then it moves to an empty space at random before the next cascade starts. It also carries a win multiplier which is increased by 1x each time it is part of a winning cluster.

Better still, if you land two Wild Jokers next to each other then they boost each of their multipliers by +1.

Joker Meter

There is a meter to the left of the grid. Every time you make a winning cluster a section of the Joker Meter gets filled up. The fuller the meter, the more Wild Jokers are added to the grid. During regular spins, they’re added after the 1st, 4th, and 7th clusters, but during a Nitro spins round, they’re added after the 1st, 3rd, and 6th. 

Free Spins

If you land three scatter symbols – the ‘FS’ – then you get given six free spins. The free spins round begins with three Wild Jokers, but you earn more by creating winning clusters and filling up that Joker Meter, just as in the base game. If you make it to the 10th, 20th and 30th winning clusters then you get two additional free spins each time. 

Bonus Booster

If you’re feeling lucky then you might want to try out the bonus booster. This feature allows you to gamble some of your free spins for the chance to win extra ones. Fortune Maker 

If you land a particularly big free spins win then the Fortune Maker is triggered. Here, you can choose how much of your win you’d like to bet. There are 12 winning rings and 4 losing rings, so your chances are pretty good. However, if you land in a losing ring, even once, you forfeit all of your bet. Bonus Replay

Dream Drop Jackpot

The Dream Drop jackpot round can be triggered at any point. It begins with a jackpot spin which you play before the Dream Drop bonus game. If 4 Dream Drop Joker symbols land then the bonus round is triggered.

During the bonus game there are 5 different jackpot zones, with 4 spaces each, appear on the game grid – Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major and Mega. Also, 4 jokers appear, bouncing around until they land in one of the zones. When that happens, a new joker is added to the grid. When one jackpot zone is completely filled with jokers, then it’s jackpot is awarded.
