Jawsome Pirates makes great use of different sorts of wilds, as well as a free spins round. Let’s take a look at how all of the features work.
Collector Wild
As well as normal wilds, this slot also features collector wilds. These open any Mystic Chests (we’ll come onto these in a minute) whenever they land on the grid. Only one collector wild can land at a time.
The collector wild also substitutes any regular pay symbol, in the same way a normal wild does. When it is used in this way it is removed from the grid, except in the free spins round where it remains.

Mystic Chests
Mystic chests can land at any time and when they open reveal one of the following prizes:
- Expanding Wild: the whole reel becomes wild.
- Instant Win: instant win of between 5x and 100x the bet.
- Wild Boost: between 2 and 6 wilds or multiplier wilds are added to the grid. Multiplier values range from 1x to 100x.
Jawsome Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbol starts the free spins round with 8, 10, or 12 free spins, respectively. You will always land a collector wild on the first spin if you trigger a round with the maximum 5 scatter symbols. If you land a scatter symbol during the free spins round you’re awarded an additional free spin.
During the free spins round, the collector wild and any multipliers remain on the reels for the duration. At the start of each free spin the collector wild moves to a new location.
