Jurassic Party is a super-fun looking slot with a cartoon-style. The massive 7×7 grid is set up against a tranquil backdrop of a tropical beach paradise on a Caribbean island, with palm trees, sun loungers and a beach shack with cocktails galore. Far from being the terrifying monsters from the Jurassic Park movies, the dinos in this game look like a cheery bunch who are more interested in having a drink and sunning themselves than chasing down prey. The paytable has some impressive values at the high end, particularly when the clusters grow to a size of 40 or more. The lowest value symbols are the dinosaur eggs which come in red, blue, purple or green. They are all valued at from 0.5x for 5 in a cluster up to 50x for 40 or more in a cluster. Premiums are the four dinosaurs, again in red, blue, purple or green. Their values are from 1x for 5 in a cluster up to 500x for 40 or more red dinosaurs in a cluster.

Cluster Wins Help Build Your Payouts
Cluster Wins, also known as Avalanches, Tumbles or Cascades, will be familiar to anyone who has played a Cluster Pays slot before. After a win, winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones drop in to replace them. This gives the chance to form further clusters and trigger more wins.
Wilds and Multiplier Wilds
What I love about Jurassic Party is that the Wilds stick to the grid when they are not used, so they aren’t wasted. And also, if a Beach Ball bounces across the screen it assigns a multiplier value to all Wilds that are visible. That happened on a regular basis in testing bringing up wild multipliers of up to 5x.

The scatter is represented by the Jurassic Party logo. It is key to unlocking further features and building towards bigger wins. You get re-spins and free spins with 2 or more scatters. And they come with extra features as follows:

Landing more scatters during the free spins earns you more rewards too. So, if you land 2 more scatters during free spins you will get 2 more spins plus an extra feature pick. And if 1 scatter lands on its own, you get 1 more spin added to your total.

The Final Verdict
Jurassic Party is a light-hearted grid slot with a ton of exciting features that rarely lets the pace drop. Despite its high variance game engine it doesn’t feel like a tough play. That is partly down to its cheerful setting and playful dinosaurs, but also the gameplay which ensures regular Cluster Wins, often delivered with a sprinkling of Wild Multipliers. Whilst in testing I never came close to any really significantly-sized wins, the 20,000x max potential and the opportunity to trigger free spins with 3, 4 or more features in play suggests that on occasion Jurassic Party will go off nicely. Another great addition to the Relax Gaming catalogue!
