Fans of the series of Ice Age movies will love this frozen slot design. The playgrid is set atop a wintery tundra background, complete with dinosaur bones and frozen fir trees. Even the grid itself has three rows of frozen blocks that only melt when enough meteors hit.

The beautiful artwork continues onto the reels, where there are five character symbols, each an animal from the ice age including sabre tooth tigers and wooly mammoths. If you’re looking for a prehistoric slot with crisp graphics, this is the obvious choice.

This is a win ways game which means wins are triggered by landing 3 or more identical symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, starting at the left most reel. That creates 4,096 win ways at 6×4, and up to 117,649 win ways when all 7 rows are active on every reel.

There are 9 pay symbols plus a scatter and a wild. The low-paying symbols are the card suits which pay from 0.1x your stake for 3 symbols, up to 0.3x your stake for 6 symbols. The premium symbols are the characters, paying from 0.1x your stake for 3 of the blue animals, up to 3x your stake for 6 woolly mammoths.

There is also a Wild that substitutes for any pay symbol to complete a win way AND has a value of 3x when 6 land on a win way.

Cascading Ways

After any win, winning symbols are removed and replaced with new ones which drop onto the grid from above. This process continues until no more wins are triggered, then payouts are made and any unfrozen symbols become frozen again.

At the same time, meteors may trigger on any spin or cascade to unlock frozeon blocks from the top 3 rows, thereby creating more win ways.

Wild Reel

You can also trigger the Wild Reel by landing three or more meteor symbols on the same reel (either in one spin, or as part of cascade). This causes the entire reel to become Wild, creating more chances to complete win ways AND it also activates the Multiplier Flow.

Multiplier Flow

At the bottom of the reels is the Multiplier Flow. This moves one position towards the left after every spin, except during cascades. It contains multipliers from 1x to 10x and bonus symbols too. Once the Wild Reel is activated, any multiplier on the same reel in the multiplier flow will be activated too, and its value will be applied to any win that passes through that reel.

There are three unique ways to activate the free spins round. You can either, land 3 bonus symbols for 5 free spins, collect a bonus symbol from the multiplier flow to get 5 free spins, or combine 3 bonus symbols with a symbol from the multiplier flow to get 10 free spins.
