Relax Gaming is a slot provider known for their high variance adventure slots, so it’s nice to play a game from them with a more relaxed vibe for a change. I played 100 spins. There are lots of win ways – up to 46,655 – and wins were evenly paced, hitting a rate of 23% which is about 1 in 4 or 5 spins. The Tumbles is not a complex game to understand either. It’s just about building out the grid by removing ice blocks and revealing multipliers. Those didn’t appear as frequently as I would have liked, but they did contribute to the biggest win, a 19.25x that included a 7x multiplier.
The bonus round is potentially more rewarding because multipliers are collected into a global one to be applied after every spin. However, on this occasion that didn’t produce anything spectacular – just a 15.65x win from a 2x global multiplier. Still, it’s easy to see how that feature could be a lot more lucrative on another day.
Take aways? A good slot for those who want to try Relax Gaming without the high risk levels normally associated with their titles.

Prehistoric slots are always a popular choice, particularly with Relax Gaming it seems! Their slot Primal Times was well received and The Tumbles takes a similar approach. The cute cartoon graphics are back with the reels made of ice blocks. The background is pretty too, with a cute snowman to one side of the reels and a carved woolly mammoth to the other.Â
When the free spins round begins, the snow melts and the open prairies are revealed. Now, a herd of woolly mammoths grazes happily in the background and the once frigid reels are framed with ferns and other flora.Â
