But this one stands out for its great visuals and it certainly has a quality feel to it. The engine is really tight though and despite extending my session to 250 spins I still couldn’t trigger either free spins round or jackpot feature. So it was a bit of a grind …
Wilds appeared a lot, helping to complete lines, but even so the biggest win I scored was just 12.9x. The redeeming feature was a 26.8% win rate, so more than 1 in 4 spins produced a payout of some kind. Still, as can happen with volatile slots like this one, I burned through a fair amount of funds in a short time. Might not happen to you, but you have been warned!

This game has had plenty of time to have its design perfected, so understandably, not a lot has changed from the previous incarnation. In fact, if it wasn’t for the shimmering jackpot values to the left of the reels then you wouldn’t realise which version you were playing. The soundtrack deserves a shout out for being of epic proportions, with what sounds like a full orchestra hammering out a tune for Poseidon.
The underwater scene is surrounded by cracks of lava running through the bedrock, adding an extra layer of excitement to what’s already rather beautiful. The reels are flanked by ornate columns and the symbols themselves seem like rock carvings from a forgotten city. It’s a beauty!

Also known as cascading wins, the rolling reels feature kicks in every time you make a win. All of the winning symbols will be removed from the grid and new symbols will ‘roll’ down into their place. Scatters Spell GOLD
Scatter symbols are gold and each has a letter on it G, O, L, or D. If you managed to spell out the whole word then the free spins feature begins.

The increase to 18,720x your stake as a non-progressive max win is an unexpected boost, considering many of the slots on the Wowpot! Network have actually decreased their non-progressive win. The rolling reels mechanic remains a nice little money builder, as do the multipliers in the free spins round. The theme is super solid and though it basically doesn’t vary at all from previous iterations of this slot, it probably doesn’t need to.
