This game has had plenty of time to have its design perfected, so understandably, not a lot has changed from the previous incarnation. In fact, if it wasn’t for the shimmering jackpot values to the left of the reels then you wouldn’t realise which version you were playing.  The soundtrack deserves a shout out for being of epic proportions, with what sounds like a full orchestra hammering out a tune for Poseidon.

The underwater scene is surrounded by cracks of lava running through the bedrock, adding an extra layer of excitement to what’s already rather beautiful. The reels are flanked by ornate columns and the symbols themselves seem like rock carvings from a forgotten city. It’s a beauty!

Symbols and Paytable

The Ancient Fortunes Poseidon WowPot Megaways slot features 6 reels and 3 rows with up to 117,649 ways to win. To secure a win, you need to land at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.

The paytable includes 10 regular symbols. The lower-paying symbols consist of shells, crabs, dolphins, bulls, horses, and octopuses, with payouts ranging from 0.8x to 1.8x the stake for a 6-of-a-kind combination. Rolling Reels After EVERY Win

Also known as cascading wins, the rolling reels feature kicks in every time you make a win. All of the winning symbols will be removed from the grid and new symbols will ‘roll’ down into their place. If you make a new win then the whole thing carries on, again and again until eventually no new wins are made.

Scatters Spell GOLD

Scatter symbols are gold and each has a letter on it G, O, L, or D. If you managed to spell out the whole word then the free spins feature begins.

Free Spins With Progressive Multpliers

Trigger the free spins round with just 4 scatters (GOLD) and you’ll start with 12 free spins. Each additional scatter that’s landed gives 5 more spins. In this round a multiplier is applied to all wins and grows by 1 each time the reels roll. This multiplier remains for the duration of the round.

If you land 3 or 4 scatters on the top reel during the free spins round then you get an additional 5 or 10 free spins respectively. 

WowPot Jackpot Game

All of the wilds that land during both the base game and free spins round are added to the treasure chest on the left side of the screen. As the treasure chest fills, the jackpot game becomes more and more likely to trigger. Note that you also increase your chances of it triggering by playing with a larger stake.
