Bright and Upbeat Production Back On The Fruit Farm 

Fruit Party 2 doesn’t look too different to the original. Were back on a fruit farm with rolling hills in the background and a little farmhouse to complete the picture. The grid is stacked with brightly colored fruits and a little scoreboard to the left displays your latest cluster sizes. The soundtrack is a really generic plinky piano number. The whole feel is quite old skool, matching the rather generic gameplay too. But if that’s your thing, it works.

RTP and Variance

Fruit Party 2 has several RTP options – 96.53%, 95.45% or 94.46%. Which you play at will be at the discretion of your slot site. I recommend that you check the RTP on the game info screen wherever you play to make sure you are getting value for money. In research for this review I found the RTP to run at 96.53% at both MrQ and Barz Casino (White Hat Gaming).

This is a high variance slot, so more volatile than the original game so likely to produce an uneven distribution of payouts with a few big wins rather than lots of smaller ones.

Maximum Win

Symbols and Paytable

This is a Cluster Pays game so you will score wins by landing 5 or more identical symbols in ‘clusters’ that are horizontally or vertically adjacent on the 7x7 grid. The fun part is, you can build huge clusters this way for mega payouts.

There are 7 symbols in total. They are a heart, a star, orange, apple, plum, grape and strawberry. The values are from 0.2x for 5 hearts up to a massive 150x for 15 or more of the strawberries.

You also have a wild, represented by the W, which can substitute for all other pay symbols to complete clusters.  These also carry multipliers – more on which below.

Features and Gameplay

Fruity Party 2 boasts classic features mixing up tumbling wins, wild multipliers and free spins. It’s not ground-breaking but it can certainly lead to some impressive wins when they combine in the right way.

Tumble Feature and Cluster Pays

Fruit Party 2 uses the classic Tumble Feature that will be familiar to grid slot and cluster pays fans. After a win, winning symbols are removed and remaining ones drop into the spaces that are left behind. Then new symbols drop into to fill the remaining spaces. If this creates more clusters, then the process repeats.

This goes on until no more wins are formed. Then a total payout is made.

Multiplier Wilds Up To 256x

Wild Multipliers are a powerful part of Fruit Party 2.

When a wild forms part of a cluster it has a 2x multiplier attached to it. It will then be removed as part of the Tumble, but if another appears in its place, then its multiplier is double – 4x. The process can repeat and the wild multiplier will double each time if it does, up to a maximum of 256x!

That’s not all. If more than one Wild symbol appears in the same Cluster then their values will be added together before being applied to the payout. The maximum multiplier from each cluster is 256x in the base game and 729x in the free spins round. And finally, Wilds Multipliers can also be applied to multiple Clusters at the same time.

Up To 25 Free Spins With Enhanced Wild Multipliers

Landing 3 or more gold fruit Scatters will activate the Free Spins round. You’ll land 10 spins for 3 scatters, 12 spins for 4 scatters, 15 spins for 5 scatters, 20 spins for 6 scatters, and 25 spins for 7 scatters.

Now, during the free spins round the power of your multipliers is increased as they start at 3x rather than 2x. This means, if you get enough wilds in a tumble sequence then your multiplier can increase to a massive 729x, making that top 5,000x payout possible.

Finally, note that unlimited free spins re-triggers are possible – each time you land 3 or more scatters in the bonus round you will gain an additional 5 Free Spins.
