Theme and Design

Fans of the previous two instalments in the Joker’s Jewels series will feel right at home here. Almost nothing has changed, with the whole thing having the feeling of a traditional slot machine. It’s been given a brush of hot pink and a few well placed flames, but other than that, it’s more of the same.

If you’re a believer in the adage ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ then you’d certainly apply that here. It looks slick and clean, the flames are brilliantly retro, it just doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

RTP and Variance

Joker’s Jewels Hot has medium volatility, meaning the win distribution is relatively even without the big swings you experience when playing high variance slots. It also has a default RTP of 96.50%, but operators can choose to use the alternative rates of 95.50%, and 94.50% so be sure to check before you start playing. 

Considering the large max win, these are really favourable stats, which should hopefully allow you to get close to that top prize.

Maximum Win

A top payout of 27,000x your bet simply can’t be sniffed at. The previous two instalments in this series had max wins of 500x and 1,420x so this is a serious leap. Combining this with a favourable RTP and sensible volatility means, for us, this slot is a winner.

Symbols and Paytable

This game features a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 paylines. Winning combinations are formed by landing three or more identical symbols on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.

The game includes 12 pay symbols, plus a wild. The lower-paying symbols are a mix of Single Bar, Double Bar, Triple Bar, and various coloured gems, including green, blue, turquoise, and red. Landing five of the same type of these symbols pays between 5x and 20x the bet. The higher-paying symbols are the shoes, juggling clubs, guitar, and Joker. Five of the same high-paying symbols in a line award between 25x and 100x the bet.

The Wild Symbol in the game, labelled “Hot Wild,” provides substantial payouts, offering 25x, 50x, or 200x the bet for landing three, four, or five Wilds, respectively. Additionally, the “HOT” Symbol triggers the Hot Bonus Paytable payouts when six or more land on the reels.

Wild Symbol

The Wild Symbol (hot wild) substitutes for all pay symbols to help you create wins. It also offers payouts of its own as discussed in the paytable section, up to 200x the bet.  If you hit exactly 15 wilds then you get the grand jackpot of 25,000x the bet. 

Hot Bonus Instant Prizes

If you land 6 or more hot symbols then you’re awarded an instant cash prize. These vary from 1x the bet up to 5,000x the bet for 15x symbols.
