What Our Reviewer Says …

What We Didn't Like
- Low RTP due to progressive JP contributions
- Very low non-progressive max win
Theme and Design
You can say what you like about stingy RTPs and smaller max wins, but you can’t say a bad word about the design and artwork here. This slot is super slick with a high spec look that any studio would be proud of. The witches themselves are sexy, sultry, and as far as we can see not of the green and warty variety. The yellow brick road in the background is a nice nod to the Wizard of Oz books that this slot has taken its inspiration from.

The progressive jackpot prizes glimmer tantalisingly to the left hand side of the screen. In fact, the whole thing shimmers tantalisingly! It’s a really beautifully illustrated slot, that anyone with a penchant for glamorous witches is going to enjoy.
RTP and Variance
With an RTP of 92%, this game falls well below average. When you consider that 5.3% of that figure goes towards the progressive jackpot too, it does feel a little bit mean. The medium volatility does take the edge off slightly, but this is still a game that’s best steered clear of if you’re on a budget.
If you’re not fussed about the progressive jackpot then it might be worth looking at the Sister of Oz Jackpots slot, which looks exactly the same but has 4 fixed jackpots and a higher RTP of 95.83%.
Maximum Win
The non-progressive max win is 720x on this slot, meaning it has taken a hit since its predecessor which boasted a much more appealing win of 10,000x your stake. However, there’s also the addition of a progressive jackpot to play for, which certainly makes things more interesting. The Wowpot! Level starts at €2,000,000 and only goes up from there!
Symbols and Paytable
The game features 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed paylines. Wins are achieved by landing 3 or more matching symbols from left to right on a payline.

There are 9 pay symbols, plus a book and scatter symbol. The lower-paying symbols consist of 5 potion bottles, each with a distinct colour. These all pay 0.2x the bet for a line of 3. The premium symbols are the 4 witch sisters, each sporting a different hair colour. The pink-haired sister is the highest-paying among them, awarding 0.5x, 1x, or 18x the total stake for 3, 4, or 5 on a payline, respectively. All four sister symbols can also appear as Jumbo blocks.
Features and Gameplay
Sisters of Oz Wowpot offers a decent sized selection of mechanics, each of which helps you climb closer to one of the big wins. Let’s take a look at how they work.
Gold Book of Oz Symbol
This symbol acts as both a wild and a scatter. As a wild, it substitutes for all regular symbols to help form winning combinations. As a scatter, it triggers the Free Spins feature.
Jumbo Blocks
The 4 higher-paying sister symbols can appear as large blocks of 3x4 in size, boosting your chances of winning. These blocks land on the middle reels and can cover a large portion of the board.

Free Spins
Trigger the Free Spins feature by landing 3, 4, or 5 Book of Oz symbols, awarding 5, 7, or 10 free spins respectively. Wins during free spins are doubled with a 2x multiplier, and additional Jumbo Blocks appear on each spin. Landing scatters on reels 1 and 5 gives you 3 extra free spins.
WowPot Progressive Jackpot
Collect Oz symbols to get a chance to spin the Progressive Wheel in the WowPot Jackpot feature, where you can win 1 of 4 possible jackpot prizes. Spin wisely, there’s only one segment that awards the Wowpot! The seed values for what you could win are shown below:
- Mini starts at €10.
- Minor starts at €100.
- Major starts at €50,000.
- Wowpot! starts at €2,000,000.
Final Verdict
In terms of dazzling designs, Sisters of Oz Wowpot is right at the top of them. The graphics in this game are stunning with not one, not two, but four mesmerising witches. The glimmering and shimmering features are pretty without being intrusive and generally it has the feel of a game that’s had some real time spent on it. Moving onto the gameplay, it’s strong. There are interesting mechanics and the jumbo symbols give plenty of potential for climbing closer to that non-progressive max win. While at 720x the bet, it’s pretty small, it is combined with a hilariously large progressive jackpot.
The RTP is a real downside to this slot, even by progressive standards, 92% is pretty mean. The medium volatility does take some of the sting out of this slot’s tail, but overall this is going to be a game that jackpot chasers with sizable budgets are going to be best suited for.
Testing Notes

Results from 250 spins for free on Sisters of Oz WowPot at Casumo.
- Stake Size: 0.2
- Start balance: 1006.67
- End balance: 1,005.18
- Hit Rate: 30% (75 winning spins in 250)
- Biggest Win: 90x
- Bonus Round: 1
- Progressive Wheel: 0
I set a low stake of 20p and played 250 spins to test the WowPot version of Sisters of Oz at Casumo. Visually it’s one of the best of the WowPot series with excellent production and lots of slick animations. The gameplay itself isn’t particularly good though. You really only have the jumbo symbols and wilds to keep you going whilst you wait for either the free spins or the progressive wheel to trigger. I did score a 90x win at one point from a jumbo symbol and a wild which wasn’t bad. But it took 237 spins to trigger the free spins and then I only scored a 21.3x win thanks to the 2x multiplier that applies to all wins in that feature. The progressive wheel never triggered in 250 spins which is frustrating, but playing at a low stake perhaps it's not surprising.

Take aways? This is a great looking game and that may be enough to carry the mediocre gameplay at times, but it’s not one I would come back to.
