Wolf Gold Ultimate kicks along at a good pace thanks to a relatively high win rate of 32%. That means roughly 1 in 3 spins produced a payout of some kind. Even so, the balance was tracking downwards for a long time before I eventually unlocked the Hold and Win game twice – once on 156 spins and once on 172 spins. Both times I landed a decent win – 71.8x and then 77.6x. It’s actually a fun Hold and Win thanks to the clever progressive element. And with as many as 4 grids to unlock there is plenty of space to land Money Symbols. I didn’t reach the final stage where the special symbols come into play but its not hard to see how lucrative that could be if you made it that far and landed some good multipliers or collectors.

Pragmatic Play don’t mess with the Wolf Gold brand here. We’re back in a rocky canyon in the American west, bathed in pink and purple light under a starry sky. The pay table is filled with wild animals and a pleasant piano and strings soundtrack with intermittent wolf howls completes the atmosphere. It’s not a particularly modern design but if you like classic Prairie slots then it will definitely appeal.

Money Symbols

These carry values of 0.4x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x or 15x; OR a jackpot value of 20x (MINI), 50x (MINOR), 100x (MAJOR) or 1,000x (GRAND).

Money Re-Spins

The main even is the Money Re-Spins feature. You need SIX or more Money Symbols to land on one spin to trigger it.

The round plays out on 3 5×3 grids and a 5×1 grid which open up progressively during the feature which is a classic Hold and Win with 3 re-spins on the counter and ONLY Money Symbols or blanks available. Each time a Money Symbol lands on a spin the counter re-sets to 3.

The round continues until either you run out of re-spins OR the every position on the grid is filled with a symbol. Then, all visible money values on all active grids are added together and paid out.
