A Spot Of Fishing In An Idyllic Mountain Setting

ReelPlay’s bass adventure does not have the typical sea or lake backdrop found in many fishing slots. Instead, we are taken to a wild mountain setting with a foaming river in the foreground and snow-capped mountains behind. You could be somewhere deep in the Rockies. It’s a pleasant scene, backed by the same style of cheerful banjo soundtrack that you find in Pragmatic’s Big Bass series.

Symbols and Paytable

This is a 6 reel slot with 4 rows and a special 4x1 reel that spins independently and horizontally to create a massive 10,000 paylines.

There is not huge value in the pay table BUT the bass cash symbols make up for that as we will see.

There are 9 pay symbols in the table. These are the cards, 9 through to Ace, worth from 0.1x for 3 9s up to 1x for 6 Aces, and the spinner with hook, mayfly and tackle box, worth from 0.25x for 3 spinners up to 5x for 6 tackle boxes.

There is also a wild, represented by the fisherman, who will substitute for any pay symbol to complete a payline. He ONLY appears on the top 4x1 reel.

Features and Gameplay

10,000 Big Bass Lightning Blitz follows the standard bass fishing slot format with cash collect fish symbols. However, a tumble win feature and additional jackpots add jeopardy to the gameplay.

Bass Cash Collects And Tumbles

Bass symbols come in 3 sizes – small worth between 1x and 1.75x, medium worth between 2x and 4x, and large worth between 5x and 9x. There are also 4 jackpot versions – mini (10x), minor (50x), major (250x) and grand (2,000x).

To activate a prize, the fisherman wild must land at the same times as a Bass. Remember, the wild only appears on the top reel.

After a cash or jackpot collect then the wilds and bass symbols are removed and new symbols drop in from above (or the right on the top reel) to replace them in a classic tumble format. This may trigger more wins and more cash collects.

NOTE: The mini and minor JPs may be awarded more than once in the spin and subsequent tumbles, but major and grands can only be awarded once.

There is also a free spins round, triggered by landing 4 or more scatters, represented by the game’s logo. But once again the top reel is important because scatters can only land on the main reel set if one lands on the top 4x1 reel.
