Infinity Reels is Reelplay’s answer to their Antipodean counterparts, Big Time Gaming’s Megaways™ format. In terms of maths, the RTP of this slot is set at 95.57% which is slightly below average for an online slot game. The minimum bet is 25p and the volatility level is high, so all considered, this is a risky game to play and will be best suited to players with good bankrolls who can ride out any lean spells. The hit rate of winning spins is quoted by Reeplay as 29.94%.
Unfortunately, the maximum payout of 3,953x stake isn’t that impressive considering the high volatility, high minimum bet and low RTP. But the extra reels available from the Infinity Reels feature and the fixed jackpots that run down the left of the screen and pay up to 1,000x will be worth chasing down.
Symbols and Paytable
You’ll need to match three identical symbols on a payline from left to right to score a win which will automatically trigger the Infinity Reels feature and add further win potential to the reel set.
The symbols here are themed around mythological creatures. You’ll find a Minotaur, Centaur, Griffin and Hydras, along with colourful gemstones and potion bottles. The creatures award the higher payouts with the griffin the top-paying creature, while the gemstones and potion bottles pay the lower rewards.

There are four different feature in the Age of Beasts game to enhance the gameplay and help you reach the bigger prizes. Here is how they work.
Infinity Reels
The Infinity Reels feature can take the number of reels from 3 up to a maximum of 13. This feature is triggered whenever you land a win across all 3 reels. When this happens, a new reel is added to the right of the reel set and you also receive a 1x Multiplier. If you manage to reach 13 reels, you’ll also receive an Infinity Bonus worth 888x stake. This can happen in both the base game and the free spins round.
Wheel Feature
Landing 5 or more Chest Scatter symbols in the base game will trigger the Wheel feature as a precursor to the free spins bonus round. This opens a new screen with 5 concentric wheels, which can award a cash prize of 2x to 15x stake, extra spins or increased Multipliers. It can also award one of the 4 Jackpots if you manage to reach the final 5th wheel. Once you’ve hit a prize, the Free Spins round will begin.

Final Verdict
Age of Beasts Infinity Reels is a great looking slot with a strong atmosphere evoked in the soundtrack and through the well-illustrated pictures of mythological creatures. And instead of the usual dragon guarding subterranean treasure, it’s interesting to find a minotaur and centaur adorning the reels. So top marks to Reelplay for visuals and affects!
In terms of gameplay, the Infinity Reels feature is fun and watching the increasing reel set with many more symbols and winning combinations is enough to get any slots players blood pumping as you aim for the top 888x Infinity Bonus available. But with this excellent feature in mind, it’s a disappointment to find a top win of only 3,953x stake, especially considering the high volatility and below average RTP. So in terms of maths, this game is strangely underwhelming and it’s a mystery why Reelplay would release such a slot when competitors are pumping out games with 150,000x jackpots at the same time.
In summary, this theme is going to please fans of fantasy gaming, but the low winning potential is going to be a problem for many players, making Age of Beasts Infinity Reels a niche spinner best suited to mythology specialists.
