Theme and Design
A Basic Genie Jackpots Game Design
Even More Wishes follows a standard Genie Jackpots design style with the reel set against a backdrop of a cavernous space filled with gold coins, jewels and statues. The reel set is packed with symbols from the story too and the deep, sonorous boom of the Genie’s voice can be heard from time to time as you spin. It’s simple, but will please fans of the series.
RTP and Variance
Even More Wishes runs with a 94.5% RTP. If you think this is low, that is because a small % or all your bets is being put aside for the progressive jackpot pool. That is standard for these games. In reality, a 94.5% RTP isn’t too bad either. It’s a little under average but many casinos choose to run games at 94% or less where they have the option anyway (see slots by Hacksaw, NLC, Play and Go and many other providers).
Like the other Genie Jackpot games, Even More Wishes is a high volatility experience too. Alongside the big PJPs it also has a nice main game top prize and plenty of exciting ways to build big win sequences. But it can also be a grind. Be ready for that.
Maximum Win
The maximum win in the main game is 10,000x. That is good for a standard high variance slot, and good for one with PJPs bolted on too. For comparison, most Dream Drop Jackpot games have main game max wins in the 10,000x to 20,000x range, so Even More Wishes is in the right ballpark.
Symbols and Paytable
The game plays out on the standard 6 reels and 4 rows grid. It is a win ways slot which means wins are triggered when you land 3 or more identical low value symbols, or 2 or more identical premium symbols, on ANY row on adjacent reels from left to right, starting at the left most reel. This gets you to the standard 4,096 win ways (4x4x4x4x4x4).
The game carries 6 low value symbols and 5 premiums. The low value ones are cards, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace. These are valued at from 0.4x for 3 9s up to 1.5x for 6 Aces. The premiums are the book of wishes, bag of treasure, swords, genie’s hat and lamp. These are valued at from 0.2x for 2 books up to 5x for 6 lamps.
There is also a Wild that can land on reels 2 to 6 to substitute for any pay symbol to complete win ways.
Features and Gameplay
The Genie and the Cash Collect Feature
The main event here is the Cash Collect feature. It is driven by landing Genie Collects which hoover up cash from the rest of the reels. Cash symbols come in two types – straight cash money symbols valued at up to 20x, or Jackpot Money symbols valued at 20x (Mini), 200x (Major) or 2,500x (Mega).
From the start of the game, when a Genie Collect symbol lands on reel 6 at the same time as Cash symbols on ANY reel, then the Cash Collect activates. The genie expands to full reel height and collects in all visible cash symbols.
When this part of the game is completed, normal spins resume. But now, there are FOUR further Cash Collect levels that can be unlocked, one a time, as follows:
Dual Collect – After the first Cash Collect has run, now the Genie Collect can appear on the first reel as well as the sixth, giving you more chances of triggering the feature again.
Lock and Spin – After the second Cash Collect has run, Lock and Spin is active for the next time a Genie Collect lands. In this case, when a Genie lands as the same time as cash symbols, those cash symbols lock in place and the rest of the positions re-spin. If more cash symbols land then the process repeats. And so on, until no more cash symbols land.
If this feature is triggered by TWO Genie Collects, then an extra life is granted for the first spin without a cash symbol.
Cash Boost – After the third Cash Collect has run, now the Cash Boost is active and all cash symbols on the reels are given a random multiplier before being collected.
Golden Chest – After the fourth Cash Collect has run, now the Golden. Chest is active and Golden Chest symbols may appear on the reels. If one lands when the Cash Collect is activated by a Genie symbol and cash symbols, then ALL cash symbols are collected into the chest and it is collected by the Genie along with all the cash symbols.
Genie Free Spins With Multiplier
There is also a free spins round of course, which is triggered by landing scatter symbols as follows:
- 4 Scatters – 10 free spins and a 20x payout
- 5 Scatters – 10 free spins and a 100x payout
- 6 Scatters – 10 free spins and a 500x payout
During the free spins the gameplay is the same. However, more spins and multipliers can be added by collecting the Genie Collect symbols during the round as follows:
- 3 Genie Collect Symbols – 5 more spins and a 2x multiplier applied to all cash symbols
- 6 Genie Collect Symbols – 5 more spins and a 3x multiplier applied to all cash symbols
- 9 Genie Collect Symbols – 5 more spins and a 5x multiplier applied to all cash symbols
- 12 Genie Collect Symbols – 5 more spins and a 10x multiplier applied to all cash symbols
Jackpot King
Finally, there is the Jackpot King feature which triggers at random on any spin. In this, a multiple of the stake OR one of the THREE big progressive JPs is awarded.
Final Verdict
This is the least original of the Genie Jackpots games, treading old ground thematically and in gameplay. The design is nothing new and the Cash Collect features have been seen before in a few Blueprint slots including the King Kong series. But that needn’t matter if you are a fan of Aladdin-themed games and enjoy chasing down a colossal jackpot or two. Or indeed, a not so colossal one in the form of one of those 3 fixed JPs. But in short, whilst it does what the tin says, and gives fans of the genie the chance to re-acquaint themselves with the legend, we do wonder how much further this series can go.
Testing Notes
I played 250 spins on Even More Wishes on Blueprint Gaming’s test server prior to release to test the game. This is what happened.

Outside of the progressives – which weren’t live in the test environment - success or failure here is dependent on how far you can progress through the Cash Collect levels, as well as whether you can trigger the free spins round. The Cash Collect is a fun feature because it depends on two things happening – unlocking the next level, then landing a Genie to activate it. That adds some nice jeopardy to your spins.
In the base game – where the hit rate at 20% felt tight by the way – I got all the way to the top Cash Collect level, the Golden Chest, which was the most powerful of all the features. And I can say, the further up the levels you go, the harder is to unlock the next one, which makes sense. So be ready for that.
The Golden Chest feature eventually reaped a 46x win which you can see here. I had 3 Chests on the board which all collected up the value of all other cash symbols on the reels before paying out. That helped!
The free spins round triggered just once in 250 spins. That is quite tight, but not unusual. It reaped a 36x win. It’s a generous feature so worth waiting for thanks to 10 initial spins plus 5 more each time you collect 3 Genies. I had 15 spins in total, but starting from level 1 in the Cash Collect, didn’t get far with that.
This is an entertaining game with fun progressive features and clearly the chance to win big through Cash Collect. But it’s high variance showed in that low hit rate and I was cash negative by the end.
