Theme and Design

Trail of Blood is a game around a story with a revenge plot line that any Western movie fan would enjoy. The vengeful character here is a sheriff called Tex Tallonis, whose family has been lost in gunfight and is seeking the ultimate payback. Perhaps this explains the nooses and gallows that appear behind the reels and set a sombre tone before you’ve even made a spin.

Quickspin normally favour a color scheme that utilises a palette of pastel oranges and yellows, but in this case those have been forsaken for darker browns and greys. A gloomy night sky hangs over the reels, and wooden buildings are illuminated by lanterns as smoke blows across the background.
