Over 200 spins I triggered a Bonus Feature 4 times. Twice I won an Instant Prize of 7.5x, once the Cash Stack feature leading to a 43.2x win, and once a Free Spins feature leading to a 19.5x win. The most exciting feature was the Cash Stack as its unpredictable and gives you a shot at the 3 jackpots.

By the end of the round I’d filled 17 spaces out of 29 and filled the 2nd row from the bottom to trigger a 2x multiplier. Those row multipliers certainly add intrigue and if you can fill rows 3 and 4, or even 5, you could be looking at a really good payout from this feature even before you get to the jackpots. On the flipside, the free spins round was a bit basic with just 5 plays and a standard 3x multiplier to boost payouts.

All The Glitz and Glamour of Gambling’s Favourite City

Vegas Night Life is a classic glitzy Vegas slot packed with the city’s iconic scenery, neon lights, plenty of bling and a gameshow-style soundtrack to accompany your spins and wins. It’s not the best-looking game NetEnt have created in my opinion but if you like games stacked with dollar signs, casino chips and symbols of wealth then you’ll love it. You’ll also appreciated it if you’ve ever visited the famous strip and seen the re-creations of New York and Paris skylines lit up in bright lights.

The premiums are the emblems of wealth – champagne, watches, rings and fast cars. They pay out from 1x for 3 champagnes up to 15x for five cars on a line.

This was the best feature for me in testing. I triggered once and delivered a 43.2x win.

Here a new grid comes into play. It is Xmas tree shaped with 5, 6, 7, 6, 5 rows on each of the five reels. Only dollar signs will land on the grid, though sometimes you get an empty spin where nothing lands. You start with THREE spins BUT the counter re-sets each time a dollar symbol drops.

Dollar symbols are valued at 0.25x to 15x and land on the lowest available row on the reel they appear on. Once they land, the spins counter re-sets to 3.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th rows from the bottom each has a multiplier value displayed next to them. If you fill those rows, those multipliers are activated and applied to the values on the row.

At the end of the round – after 3 empty spins – the value of all dollar signs is added together and paid out as your prize.

You can also trigger any of the three jackpots in this feature. The Mega Jackpot is unlocked by filling the middle reel completely – 7 rows high. If you fill reel 2 then you unlock the 10x Mini Jackpot – 6 rows high. And if you fill reel 4 completely, you unlock a 30x Midi Jackpot – also 6 rows high.

The Final Verdict

Vegas Night Life didn’t blow me away. It’s glitzy, gameshow-vibe is quite old fashioned now and the features are somewhat basic. However, thanks to its medium variance it did at least trigger very regular wins, whilst the 4 bonus features in 200 spins in testing is nothing to complain about. The Cash Stacker is by a long way the best feature of the game and its combination of free spins countdown, reel stacks and multipliers is fun to watch whilst waiting to see if you get lucky on one of those jackpots. If you want a more modern and high value progressive I recommend trying the Dream Drop series from Relax Gaming with better gameplay and higher prizes.
