Deadwood by Nolimit City
What’s It About?
Deadwood is the newest release from Nolimit City, an up and coming game studio which has been grabbing our attention all year with high variance games like Punk Rocker and Barbarian Fury. Deadwood is the follow-up to last year’s Wild West shoot-up, Tombstone. It’s set in a dusty old gold-rush town and features a standard array of grisly outlaws, sheriffs, gold bars, whiskey bottles and shotguns on the reels.
This is a high, high variance slot so only for those who enjoy high risk gambling. The stakes are high and the payouts are infrequent but big when they come. Bear this in mind before you spin the reels.
What Features Does It Have?
Deadwood is another game that showcases Nolimit City’s trademark xNudge Wild feature. When a stack of wilds lands partially visible then it nudges down or up until the whole stack is visible. Each nudge adds 1x to the multiplier that is applied to any winline including the stack. Look out as well for a Gunslinger Free Spins round in which the multipliers from xNudge are retained for the duration of the spins, rather than re-setting each time. The multiplier can rise to an unlimited number driving a top payout of 13,950x. There is also a Shoot Out feature in which all low value symbols become wild for a spin to increase your chances of winning.

Gorilla Gold Megawaysâ„¢ by Blueprint Gaming
What’s It About?
Gorilla Gold is a Megaways™ slot like no other that has come before it. Blueprint have thrown out the rule book here and given you FOUR reelsets to play the game on! This means there are up to 470,596 paylines in play at any one time. They’ve called it Power 4 Play! It is a jungle-based game, and like almost every other Megaways™ title on the market it comes with a very high variance setting, and an aspirational top payout of 20,000x. Blueprint have risen to become one of the most prolific Megaways™ producers, but its fair to say that this is their whackiest effort yet.
What Features Does It Have?
Gorilla Gold comes with the usual set of Megawaysâ„¢ features. Cascading Wins mean that after any winning spin, winning symbols are removed from the reels and replaced with new ones to potentially create more wins. There are also Mystery Symbols, Free Spins and multipliers. Things get really manic in the Super Spins round where landing monkey symbols unlocks more spins and more reels to play on. A surreal and eye-crossing experience!

Annihilator is another game in a series of heavy metal slots from Play n Go which has included games like House of Doom. This one features Canadian thrash band, Annihilator, and their singer and mainstay, Jeff Waters. It’s a suitable dark and moody game with 10 fixed paylines and a top payout of 5,000x. It will appeal to anyone with a passing interest in the band or those with a taste for high variance games.
What Features Does It Have?
In the base game any wilds landing on the reels can randomly lock in place for a re-spin that repeats until a win is triggered. There is also a pick-me round with win multipliers of up to 50x up for grabs and a free spins round with roaming wild stacks that leave a trail of fire in their wake. Hellcatraz by Relax Gaming
What’s It About?
Go back in time and experience an 8-bit style graphics display in this slot from Relax Gaming, based on a fictional island prison that bears more than a passing resemblance to San Fransisco Bay’s Alcatraz. The 6×6 grid-based reels are stuffed with the kind of unsavoury characters you’d normally find in a jail for mobsters, but what’s really eye-catching is the 50,000x top payout on offer. Don’t get your hopes too high though, the odds of landing it are ridiculously low.
What Features Does It Have?
Alongside a cascading wins format, this game’s stand-out feature is a free spins round unleashed by collecting 2,000 keys in the base game. It’s a kind of gamification feature that makes Hellcatraz stand out from the crowd. There are also mystery symbols that are tied-in with a counter. Each time one lands it reduces the counter by one. When the counter reach zero all the mystery symbols reveal themselves to push up your wins.

Pink Elephants 2 by Thunderkick
What’s It About?
The original Pink Elephants slot from Thunderkick was a typically quirky take on the 4,096 ways to win game format made famous in slots like WMS’ Raging Rhino. It has continued to be a very popular game at slot sites in the UK and this follow up is eagerly anticipated. The backdrop has moved to a mountain scene and the meerkat symbols have been replaced by mountain goats. But the rest of the gameplay is similar and there are still big wins to play for.
What Features Does It Have?
Much like in the original, the main features to look out for here are the free spins, triggered by landing peanut scatters, and the symbol upgrades that come in the bonus round. You have to fill up Orb Meters to upgrade each low value symbol to a premium one. When you do, the paytable is enhanced and the win potential increases each time. It’s exciting stuff and if you enjoyed the original you will definitely like this one too.
