Midnite is a great looking site, using a charcoal grey background and green and white text that is easy to read. The game logos also stand out fantastically well on this backdrop. It was a sportsbook before casino games were added and the layout is that of a classic UK betting site with navigation down the left and betting markets / slot game menu on the right. However, is still looks excellent from a slots players points of view and its easy to find your favourite games.

Registration At Midnite

The sign-up process is very simple. It took around 2 minutes to complete. I was required to enter the usual information: name, email address, mobile number and full home address as well as choosing a username and password.

And once I was logged in all the important information was easy to locate. In particular the important account functions like deposit, withdraw, set your spend limits and transaction history.

The site has a really fast and modern feel to it and benefits from being built on a new platform without any of the legacy issues that some of the established sportsbooks and casinos have.

The slots catalogue at Midnite is good and probably enough for most slots players, though it doesn’t match the size of some of the biggest independent and white label sites.

Not the end of the world, but worth noting if those are particular favourites of yours.

Accessing the games is easy enough. You can browse Top Picks (a sort of Editor’s Choice), New Games (which looks very up to date including games released in the last few days), Megaways and Most Popular. There is also the useful option of being able to search by game name (using the search box) or game provider if you have a favourite.

If you are a fan of Megaways slots then Midnite has a good selection for you. There are 123 games in total including classics like Bonanza Megaways and Monopoly Megaways. However, fans of jackpot slots should look elsewhere. I saw no Dream Drop games or Jackpot King games, and just 2 WowPot jackpots.

RTP Rates At Midnite

Many slot games now have more than one RTP setting. Slot providers leave it to the casino operator to decide which setting to run the game at. We have analysed 10 random slots at Midnite to see which RTP rate the game was running at. This is what we found:

Midnite’s promotions all appear under the ‘Rewards’ link that you’ll find in the left side navigation. You will need to be logged in to see them. There are a mix of betting and casino offers.

The casino ones are limited to a few free spins deals like wager £200 on The Goonies slot and get 60 free spins, or wager £20 or more of Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Catch and get 10 free spins. These are all opt in deals and as far as I can tell, give you winnings in cash, which is of course good news.

There are also Pragmatic Play’s Drop and Wins tournaments that can be played from Midnite. These are leaderboard promotions that run daily, weekly and monthly with £100,000s in prizes. Any Pragmatic Play slot that you play here will earn you points on the board.

According to the support service it can take anywhere from a few hours to 72 hours for a withdrawal to be processed at Midnite.  I spoke to a support agent who told me that withdrawals are ‘rarely’ processed at weekends. This doesn’t suggest that Midnite will be amongst the fastest withdrawal casinos. Something to think about if this is an important feature for you.

Customer Support 7/10

Midnite is very much the modern slot site when it comes to support. There is a ‘Help Center’ accessible via your account menu. It includes a live chat service with AI bots, and a kind of FAQs, or list of articles, that is searchable by keyword. There is also an email address – support@midnite.com.

Whilst the FAQs is helpful for some questions, the live chat service is preferable. The AI bots were surprisingly accurate in their responses, and if you wish to speak to a real person you can just request to speak to an agent. The response time is quoted as up to an hour but in my experience it took just a few minutes for the agent to come online.

KYC Process 9/10

Like all UK-licensed slot sites, Midnite must carry out checks on its customers to verify their ID, and in some cases the source of funds used to gamble. In my opinion this is handled in a very slick way by the website.

When you register, checks are made behind the scenes to verify your ID against databases like the electoral register. You also need to verify your email address by clicking a link on the welcome email. This gets you to ‘Verified Level 2’ and allows you to deposit up to £2,000. Further checks are not carried out until you deposit more than £2,000 at which point you will need to provide scans of your passport and driver license, bank statements or utility bills via an upload function. This takes you to ‘Verified Level 3’, after which point, presumably no further checks are needed.

It’s all very transparent and clear which is a refreshing change for KYC.
