Review Summary

MogoBet scores 3.5/5 in our review. Whilst the site scored high for its excellent games list it dropped points for its policy of charging 1% on withdrawals and a poor website experience. Here’s a summary of the strengths and weaknesses of MogoBet.

Strengths

  • Good game selection – powered by the ProgressPlay platform MogoBet has a strong list of game suppliers including Playetch, Pragmatic Play, Play n Go, Microgaming and Nolimit City. I found a diverse set of games for slots, table games and live dealer too.
  • A packed promo schedule – there are lots of opportunities to claim extra bonuses and free spins via the rewards program and regular weekly deals.
  • Lots of payment options – alongside the standard payment services, less common ones including Apple Pay and Neosurf are available.

Weaknesses

  • Fees on withdrawals – 1% up to £3 is charged on all withdrawals. That is very unusual and might be a deal-breaker for some players.
  • High wagering terms – MogoBet might offer a lot of regular bonuses but they do come with particularly high wagering requirements and tight withdrawal restrictions. These are usually set to 50x your bonus or free spins winnings, with a £20 max cash out from free spins, and 3x your bonus value for deposit bonuses.
  • Issues with website – the website is a little hard to navigate at times and some pages feel cluttered. There is also no app for Apple users, only Android.

Sign Up Offer and Bonuses

6/10

MogoBet has a reasonable sign-up bonus and an interesting rewards program as well as various weekly deals including live dealer cashback. However, deals are subject to strict terms.

Sign Up Offer Terms Explained

It’s important to understand the key terms of this offer before accepting it. You can deposit without accepting the deal if you don’t want to be tied into the wagering and withdrawal restrictions.

  • Bonus funds are held on a bonus balance that is separate to your cash balance. You play your cash balance first and only start playing bonus funds when your cash balance reaches zero.
  • When playing your bonus balance winnings are paid back onto the balance. You must wager 50x the value of the bonus before your bonus balance is converted to real cash. For example, if you deposit £10 and get £10 free then you will need to wager £500 (£10 * 50) to convert the bonus balance to real cash.
  • The maximum amount that can be converted from your bonus balance to cash once the wagering requirements have been completed is 3x the value of your bonus. For example, if your bonus is worth £10 then you can only convert £30 from the bonus balance into cash.
  • Free spins winnings are also paid as bonus funds. They too have a 50x wagering requirement. So, if you win £20 you need to wager £1,000 before those winnings are converted to real cash. Furthermore, you can only covert up to £20 from your free spins winnings. Anything over that would be voided.

This is an average sign-up deal with a standard deposit match and some free spins on an iconic slot thrown in. However, those terms are strict! I find the wagering terms to be particularly tight at 50x your bonus value and 50x your free spins winnings. The cap of £20 on your free spins winnings and 3x the value of your bonus is unusual too. If you don’t want to endure these, as an alternative you could try 247Bet from White Hat Gaming which offers a 100% match up to £247 and 100 Big Bass Splash spins with no wagering requirements.

Rewards Program

MogoBet run a rewards program in which you earn points for completing ‘Missions’ which are laid out in your account. They include things like trying a new game, taking up a bonus offer, or triggering a bonus feature in a slot. When you have earned enough points you unlock rewards in the store. These include bonuses, free spins, cashbacks and bonus money.

This is a nice program and it’s more interesting than the standard loyalty points for wagering that most casinos run. However, it does mean that you don’t always earn points when you play, only when your play fulfils the missions in your account, which make it harder to unlock the bonuses.

Other Promotions

MogoBet is strong on promotions with a long list of offers for regular players on its Promotions page. The deals include Live Dealer Mystery Bonuses, a Wheel of Spins with prizes of up to 500 free spins each weekend, weekly deposit bonuses of up to 25% extra or 25 free spins, and Pragmatic Play’s Drops and Wins leaderboard promotions.

This is a great selection, but like the welcome offer, it does come with the caveat of tight wagering terms and withdrawal restrictions. Most bonuses are subject to 50x wagering requirements for example, and Skrill and Neteller deposits are always excluded. So, keep that in mind before taking up any offer here.

Software and Games

8/10

MogoBet is powered by a competitive game catalogue of more than 2,500 slots, live dealers, virtual tables and instant wins taken from around 80 different providers. Whilst this doesn’t match the size of the games list found at bigger white labels like Skill on Net or independent brands like Mega Riches, it will be enough for most casino players.

The search and filter system to explore the catalogue is helpful, if not that powerful, with categories like ‘New’ and ‘Jackpots’, and a list of game providers to search by too. There is also a search bar that lets you look by game name. It would be nice to have a few more categories like ‘Megaways’ or ‘Fishing Slots’, but the menu is adequate.

Here’s a summary of what you can play.

Game Types

  • Slots IconSlots - huge range of new slots, classics, Megaways, cluster pays, scatter pays, 3 reels and more
  • Megaways IconMegaways - expanding reels games from Big Time Gaming and partners including Bonanza and White Rabbit
  • Jackpots IconJackpots - classic jackpots including Age of Gods from Playtech and Red Tiger's Daily Drops
  • Live Dealer IconLive Dealer - high quality live streams of blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, gameshows from Evolution and Playtech
  • Table Games IconTable Games - virtual tables including blackjack, roulette and baccarat
  • Instant Wins IconInstant Wins - arcade, scatchcard, instant win, crash games, kenos and plinkos
  • Sportsbook IconSportsbook - full range of betting markets including racing, football, boxing and tennis

Catalogue and Game Providers

MogoBet’s list of game providers is a mix of the biggest names in the business and many smaller studios too. This creates a very diverse catalogue. Established developers like Playtech, NetEnt, Play n Go, Pragmatic Play and Games Global (formerly Microgaming) provide much of the slots content, whilst the live area is powered by Playtech and Evolution Gaming.

Here are 10 of the best providers I found and a selection of their best games.

Online Slots

For slots fans there is a wide-ranging selection. I quickly spotted favourites like Play n Go’s Book of Dead, NetEnt’s Starburst and Barcrest’s Rainbow Riches. There are also many new releases listed, some released in the last few weeks suggesting fresh content is always being added.

I was particularly impressed with the selection of high variance slots at MogoBet. These games have high-risk pay models with less frequent payouts but bigger potential prizes. These are some of the most popular slots available like Nolimit City’s Tombstone Slaughter, Thunderkick’s Pink Elephants and Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza.

There are also 100s of Megaways slots, grid games, high RTP slots, fishing slots, ancient Egyptian and Greek slots and TV and movie games. Here are some further highlights of the list illustrating the diversity on offer.

Game CategoryRecommended Games

Jackpot Slots

I hit the jackpots link in the game menu and found a list of over 100 titles. This is a sizeable list to browse through. Unfortunately, they don’t display the jackpot tickers on the game logos which means you can’t see the live prize pot when choosing which to play.

The list leans heavily into the games from Playtech which are top class and include the iconic Age of the Gods series. Other popular games include Eyecon’s Fluffy Favourite and Red Tiger games like Dragon’s Luck and Mystery Reels Power Reels.

Live Dealer

Live dealer action at MogoBet casino is provided by Evolution Gaming and Playtech – two of the biggest game suppliers in this area. This ensures a massive choice of tables and gameshows with multiple formats and wide-ranging stake levels.

All tables are pooled with players from other casinos - there are no exclusive tables because MogoBet is not big enough to support this. Here are some highlights of the selection:

Live Dealer GameGame ProviderWhy We Recommend It
Crazy TimeEvolution Gaming54 prize segment wheel with 4 bonus rounds including Coin Flip and Pachinko
Immersive RouletteEvolution GamingIncredible roulette with multiple camera angles of the wheel
Speed BlackjackEvolution GamingFastest to react goes first after first round of cards
Baccarat from MGM GrandPlaytechTaken from a real table at a real live casino
Quantum RoulettePlaytechStandard roulette with random multipliers of up to 500x
Buffalo Blitz LivePlaytechA live version of the classic slot with community chat

Table Games

There are also virtual tables to play on here. These are the old online format with random number generated results and graphical interfaces rather than live croupiers. There are fewer of these than in the live section but the choice does include some interesting blackjack and roulette selections like Adventures of Captain Blackjack, Vegas Downtown Blackjack, Space Invader Roulette and Turbo Auto Roulette. Alternative themes and additional side bets make these games fun to play.

Other Games

MogoBet hosts more than 100 arcade, keno, lotto, scratchcard and instant win games. These are an interesting alternative to classic slots and table games. They offer low stakes fun with whacky themes and fun artwork. Popular examples include Tiger Scratch scratchcard from Hacksaw Gaming with a 100,000:1 jackpot, and the crash game, Thunderstruck FlyX from Stormcraft, in which you bet on the flight of a Norse God character! I was impressed with the variety of these games that extends the MogoBet game library still further.

Website and App Experience

6/10

MogoBet is not a big gambling brand but rather a small white label so it lacks the charisma of a big high street name. But it still has a nice website with a slick color scheme of dark blues, whites and reds, and a shiny red and white logo.

They lead with sports betting but you can click through to casino via a link at the top of the page. The site does feel cluttered and can be a bit tricky to navigate in places. There are lots of horizontal scrolls in the game list that aren't as smooth as they could be and sometimes it feels like too much promotional information is thrown at the page in one go.  On the flipside, game logos stand out clearly on that dark background, text is easy to read, and help pages, promotions and responsible gambling information are all accessible via the footer menu as they should be.

I was disappointed to find that there is no mobile app for Apple users, only Android. There have been more than 500 downloads from Google Play. The app has an average rating of just 1.6/5 which is poor, although many of the reviews concern the player experience at MogoBet rather than the app specifically.

As an iPhone user I tested the site on a Chrome browser. Loading times were fast and navigation was generally easy to follow. However, on occasion pages didn’t fit perfectly on my screen. I was using an iPhone 12 and iOS 18.

In conclusion, in the area of mobile play I think MogoBet has room for improvement. An app for Apple users and an improved experience from the website is needed.

Banking

6/10

The cashier at MogoBet has a very good range of payment options including debit cards, eWallets including Paypal, Apple Pay, Neosurf and Paysafecard. There is also a low minimum deposit of £10 and minimum withdrawal of £5. However, MogoBet loses points here for a 1% fee capped at £3 on all withdrawals. I find that very hard to take – very few other casinos impose such fees and penalising withdrawals like this is unfair in my book.

Here is a summary of the cashier options.

Payout Speed

The website states that withdrawals here are processed within 1 working day. That is standard across all ProgressPlay sites. That means that your payments won’t be processed outside of office hours, and at weekends you will be waiting up to 72 hours for your transaction to be approved. Whilst this is not uncommon at UK slot sites you can find casinos with much faster withdrawal times, some taking less than one hour.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks

Licensed casinos in the UK are required to carry out verification checks on all players. These are done to prevent fraud, under-age gambling and problem gambling. Checks are made at registration and when pre-defined deposit and withdrawal levels are met.

When you make a withdrawal you may be asked to provide documents by MogoBet to verify your ID, age and source of gambling funds. If this happens, it’s important to provide the documents in the correct format to avoid any delays.

You may be asked to provide scans or screenshots of one or more of the following documents:

  • Driver license or passport – for proof of age and ID
  • Utility bill – for proof of address
  • Bank statement or eWallet statement – for proof of address and ownership of payment method
  • Bank card – for proof of ownership of payment method

There are some reports on Trustpilot of slow KYC checks. It's something to consider when deciding whether MogoBet is the right casino for you.

Customer Support

7/10

Contacting Support

  • Email (24/7) – customersupport@instantgamesupport.com
  • Live Chat (24/7) – click on the ‘Chat’ icon at the bottom of the screen
  • Phone Support – Not available
  • FAQs – click on ‘Support’ on the main menu

The support service at MogoBet and other ProgressPlay casinos is Ok, but not great. There is no phone line, but you can speak to the team on live chat. However, that service is initially an AI bot who will point you in the direction of FAQ articles or give very generic responses which can be frustrating. You need to ask to speak to an agent, though to be fair, once you are though to one they are helpful and answer all your questions promptly.

I also recommend using the Help / FAQ centre where there are numerous articles answering common questions about bonuses, verification, deposits, withdrawals and responsible gaming all nicely organised to help you find what you are looking for.

Player Protection and Trust

9/10

Mogobet is a safe place to gamble. ProgressPlay are a well-known and popular operator with over 100 casinos listed under their license on the Gambling Commission website. They follow strict rules set out by the regulator to ensure safe and fair gameplay. I spot-checked all of the following features on the site.

  • UK License and Company Information – the license number and operator information is clearly displayed in the footer of every page on the site.
  • Responsible Gambling Tools – these are available in the account area. You can set deposit limits for yourself, trigger reminder popups telling you how long you’ve been playing for, take time-outs from the site, or permanently self-exclude from all ProgressPlay sites. MogoBet is also part of GAMSTOP, a national program that allows you to exclude from all licensed betting sites in one go.
  • Clear Terms and Conditions – all promotions have their own terms and conditions which are easy to find and clearly state any restrictions related to the bonuses you can earn. Personally I find their terms to be tight, but they are not hidden away.
  • Fair Play – all the game providers at MogoBet are licensed by the Gambling Commission too. Games are tested for fairness and RTP rates are audited to ensure games pay out according to published percentages.
  • Insolvency Protection – your balance is held is a separate bank account to the operator’s business funds. This provides some protection in case they become insolvent.
  • Site Security – I checked the website security certificate which is valid and up to date. MogoBet use TLS (Transport Layer Security) when communicating sensitive information between your computer and their servers. This is standard internet protocol and protects your personal and financial data.

What Others Say - Reviews From Players and Consumer Sites

There are several popular online platforms where players can leave reviews of their experiences at casinos. We look at TrustPilot and Ask Gamblers to find out what people are saying about MogoBet Casino.

Trustpilot

Average score of 1.6/5 from 31 reviews (5 star - 3%, 4 star - 3%, 3 star - 0%, 2 star - 0%, 1 star - 94%).

This is a very low score, albeit from just 31 reviews which is a small sample. There are a mix of complaints including slow verification and withdrawals, failure to fulfil free bets because a player has an account on another ProgressPlay site, and poor website experience.

Slow withdrawals and issues with the website are both concerns that we highlight in our own review so you should consider this before signing up.

Ask Gamblers

7.6/10 on the in-house Casino Rank algorithm (an automated ranking tool that bases its scores on a combination of criteria including the games, cashier, support hours and player reviews at AskGamblers). This is a solid, if not brilliant score, reflecting the strong games list and cashier service at MogoBet.

8/10 from 1 player reviews – only 1 player has reviewed the site at Ask Gamblers, reflecting the relatively small size of the brand. They mention the generous welcome offer but tough wagering terms which aligns with our own review. They also enjoyed the big selection of slots and live dealer games on offer.

Our Verdict

Whilst I enjoyed the game selection at MogoBet there are shortcomings that might put me off playing here again. Withdrawal fees are a big issue, even if they are only 1%, and the website, whilst nice to look at, was a little too cluttered and clunky to navigate for my tastes. I was happy to deposit and try things out with a nice sign-up offer, but I’m not sure I’ll be back.
