I played 250 spins on 3 Clown Monty for free at Casumo Casino to test the game and this is what happened.

This is a volatile slot and no mistake! Early in the session I went 15 spins with no wins at all. It evened out after that, but it was a warning. Overall, the hit rate over 250 spins was 18.4% which isn’t bad, but after the first 200 spins I had only triggered the Dealer’s Choice feature (2 scatters) on 2 occasions. Once it produced just a 3.6x win from 3 extra wilds added to the reels – disappointing after waiting a long time to trigger the feature – but the second time it produced the best win of the session, a 26.8x win when 5 multiplier wilds were added to the reels.

I extended the session beyond the usual 200 spins to 250 to see if I could unlock the free spins and finally did after 220. The free spins round is exciting, particularly as I twice unlocked the Monty Spins feature with sticky wilds and a guaranteed multiplier. However, despite having 9 free spins and 9 Monty Spins in total I still only walked away with a 19.9x win!

That is the nature of these games – sometimes even after waiting 220 spins to hit that bonus round it can be an anti-climax. Having said that, seeing those sticky wilds and the multiplier meter in action in Monty Spins gave a feel for what could be next time round and it’s not hard to see how on another day you could land an extraordinary win from those features.

Down On Their Luck Clowns Appear In This Uniquely Weird Slot Game!

3 Clown Monty has a very distinct feel to it I’ve not seen in a slot theme before. It’s all about a low-rent mobile circus hosted by a guy with a thick New York accent. The reels, set against the backdrop of a beat-up circus van, are populated by colourful but downbeat clowns who look like their best days might be behind them, whilst a giant gorilla drops in from time to time as the wild, taking a custard pie to the face in the Monty Spins round when he converts to a sticky wild. He also smokes a cigar at the top of the reels, burning holes in a multiplier meter to signify which multiplier value is active for each spin. You get the idea … it’s whacky and darkly humorous, and totally different. I liked it.

The gameplay in 3 Clown Monty is simple. You are looking always to land scatters, represented by the game logo, that will help unlock multiplier wilds or one of TWO free spins rounds. This is how it works.

Dealer’s Choice Gets You More Wilds OR Free Spins

Firstly, you’ll need to land 2 scatters to set up the Dealer’s Choice feature. Here, one of two cards is chosen on the screen. This will either add another scatter to the reels to trigger the free spins OR between 2 and 6 wilds to help complete paylines. Remember, those wilds may include a multiplier if the meter is active on the triggering spin.

Free Spins Round With Up To 12 Plays And Multiplier Wilds 

Two scatters is good, but three is better! If you land 3 or more you are into the free spins round. First, you must find out how many spins you get. This is done with a kind of ‘Pick Me’ game. You choose a card to reveal your spins total. How many you might get will depend on how many scatters triggered the feature as follows:
