Significant Terms Explained

You need to deposit a minimum of £10 to qualify for this bonus. That gets you a match up to a maximum of £25. That bonus has a wagering requirement of 30x wagering the value of the deposit plus the bonus. So, if your deposit is £10, you get £10 free and must wager £600 (£20x30) before your winnings can be withdrawn. You get 25 free spins regardless of how much you deposited and winnings from those must be wagered 60x before they can be withdrawn.

Is This a Good Offer?

This slots welcome bonus is not particularly competitive. But it is still a reasonable sweetener for new players.

Here are the pros:

  • A good 100% match if your first deposit is under £25. That is as good as you get at any site. You also only need to put £10 down to qualify.
  • The free spins are on an absolutely classic slot in Book of Dead. Never turn those down!

Here are the cons:

  • The wagering requirements are high. 30x the bonus AND the deposit is a lot. And the wagering requirements on the free spins are very high too at 60x. For comparison, Aspire Global sites will usually set theirs to 35x the bonus ONLY. And if you try Play OJO (also on Skill on Net) you’ll get your free spins with NO wagering requirements.
  • If you want to make a first deposit of MORE than £25 you could get a better bonus at another site like the ones listed in the table below.

In short, whilst this deal isn’t bad, it’s clear that Play Jango has not set out to compete with rival casinos offering the big money bonuses. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give this site a try. There are plenty more reasons to sign up as we will see.

Website UX & Registration

7/10

Whilst not as polished as other sites from the same operator, like Play OJO for example, it is nonetheless really easy to find your way around Play Jango. Registration took me just a minute or two. You need to enter your mobile number and verify your account via an SMS so be ready for that.

Once logged in, the game menu and account pages will be familiar to anyone who has played at sister sites like Bacana Play, and if you haven't you'll still pick it up easily. The search and filter function on the games part is excellent, giving you tools to explore the full range of over 5,000 slots. And the account pages are clear too, making it easy to deposit, withdraw and set your play limits as soon as you are registered.

Online Slots

10/10

A big, big reason to play at Skill on Net sites is their game catalogue. It’s huge. There are somewhere in the region of 5,700 games on this site, from 73 providers (I counted them on the game menu). That takes in every big name you can think of from NetEnt and Microgaming to Nolimit City, Pragmatic Play and Play n Go. Plus lots of smaller studios like Peter and Sons, Hacksaw Gaming, Foxium and Gameburger.

The best way to look for a new slot game to try is to hit the search bar at the top of the page, then the filter icon that appears on the right side. Then you can search by game provider, game type or format, star rating and bet range. It’s awesome. And on its own a good reason to sign up with this casino.

But you can also just hit the Slots link in the main menu then use the navigation there to find New, Megaways, Exclusive and Trending games. I had a quick browse around and was impressed with whats on offer.

New Slots – this section was completely up to date, including new slots literally out that week. Which is great if you like trying the latest releases.

Megaways Slots – There were 271 Megaways games to try, including the BTG classics and loads from the licensees like Blueprint and WMS.

Progressive Jackpots – There were 470 jackpots – that’s an extraordinary number covering Dream Drops and Jackpot Kings amongst others.

Slingo Games – There were 71 Slingos to try, from Slingo Extreme to Deadliest Catch, Rainbow Riches and Money Train.

Those are just a few of the highlights. It’s no exaggeration to say this is one of the best platforms for slots players.

Live Dealer

10/10

And it turns out that the live dealer selection isn’t bad either.

Five different studios are offering 332 different game types at Play Jango. Evolution Gaming, Authentic, Stake Logic, Pragmatic Play and Playtech all feature. That gives you access to every format of Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Sic Bo, Poker and Gameshows you can think of. And in a vast range of stakes. So, whether you are playing 20p per round of £1,000 per round, there will be something for you.

Loyalty Promotions

5/10

Play Jango did not have any loyalty promotions listed on its pages once I had logged in. The tournament schedule was empty too.

Cashier Options

7/10

The payment options at Play Jango are adequate for most players. You can deposit and withdraw with Visa, Mastercard, Trustly, Paypal or Instant Bank Payments. The minimum deposit is just £10 and there are no fees which is good.

However, if you want to use some of the less popular cashier options like MuchBetter, Skrill or Apple Pay, Play Jango won’t work for you. This is one of the few disadvantages of playing at Skill on Net sites.

Payout Speed

7/10

Withdrawals are normally processed within 24 hours at Play Jango, but it can happen much quicker. I recommend after you have made a request that you keep an eye on your emails and your account page in case there are any issues with the transaction. You may need to provide documentation to verify your ID before the cashout is approved for example. A message will be sent to you if this is the case. Until your withdrawal is approved it will appear under your balance as a ‘Pending Withdrawal’.

Customer Support

5/10

Play Jango uses the same support set up as other Skill on Net sites like OJO and its very hit and miss. The live chat function is on 24/7 but it is populated by chat bots who can only answer basic questions. They aren’t able to help with specific verification or account issues. You can request to be put through to an agent, but then they leave you hanging, sometimes for hours. They also suggest that you send an email to the team instead, but don’t give you the email address! For the record, it is support@playjango.com.

This is one area that has a lot of room for improvement. Clearly Skill on Net are trying to automate the support service but it is a long way from being ready for that.

KYC Process

7/10

If you are playing at a licensed slot site in the UK then your ID, age and address will need to be verified before you can play. This is part of UK regulation. It can be done behind the scenes when you register via checks against the electoral role. However, if you go on to make regular deposits and withdrawals then you may be asked to provide documentation too. This can be done via your account pages by hitting the Upload Documents button. Scans of utility bills, bank statements, passport or driver license may be required.

License and Reputation

8/10

Play Jango operates under the Skill on Net license in the UK and Malta. These are the licensed details.

Skill on Net is a trusted and reliable operator in the UK with more than 50 domains under its license.

Regulatory Action

Like many UK operators, Skill on Net has been hit with regulatory action in the past. In May 2023 the company was hit with a £305,150 fine for failings in safer gambling and anti-money laundering processes. Since then no further action has been taken.

Our Verdict

Play Jango might not be the first Skill on Net casino I would go to if I was new to this platform (that would be OJO). But it’s definitely worth a go if you’ve already tried the others and want another bonus but the same player experience. The game list is outstanding and the overall website experience is good too. There are some issues with customer support which need ironing out, but that aside, this is another top class casino from a well-trusted UK operator.
