Base Game
Slingo Lobstermania is all about unleashing the slot game by scoring 5 or more Slingos from the base game. Here is how you do it.
Like all Slingo games the screen here is dominated by a 5×5 grid, much like a 75 ball bingo card. Players start with 10 spins of a 1×5 reel that is positioned beneath the grid. After each spin 5 numbers will be revealed. Where they match those on the grid, then the numbers on the grid are crossed off. When 5 numbers in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line are all crossed off, that is a Slingo.
Along the way, Jokers, Super Jokers and Free Spins are helping you to complete Slingos, whilst Devils are trying to block you.
Spin Gamble for More Slingos
One of the best features of Slingo games is the spin gamble. This feature means that when your 10 spins are up, if you haven’t already hit 11 Slingos – a Full House – then the gig is not up. You can purchase more spins to keep trying. Just keep in mind that as the odds of getting more Slingos have narrowed, so the price of your spins has gone up. So evaluate the situation carefully before you choose to buy more plays.
Fixed Jackpots
There are THREE fixed jackpots available during the Slingo base game. They are Light Trap (50x), Full Trap (150x) and Motherlode (1,000x) and you can see them at the top of the screen above the grid. They are triggered by ‘Jackpot Overlays’ that will drop on the spin of the reel. Three gets the Light Trap, four gets the Full Trap and five gets the Motherlode.
Buoy Bonus Game and Free Spins
There are two bonus games associated with each point on the prize ladder. Remember, you need a minimum of five Slingos to unlock these bonus games. Anything less and you are going home empty-handed.
Here are the rewards for each level on the prize ladder:
- 5 Slingos – Buoy Bonus Game with 1 or 2 prize picks.
- 6 Slingos – 5 free spins.
- 7 Slingos – Buoy Bonus Game with 3, 4 or 5 prize picks.
- 8 Slingos – 10 free spins.
- 9 Slingos – Buoy Bonus Game with 3, 4 or 5 prize picks. All wins are subject to a 2x multiplier.
- 10 Slingos – 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier in play
- 12 Slingos (Full House) – A choice of the Buoy Bonus game with 5, 6 or 7 picks, plus a 6x multiplier, or 20 free spins on Lobstermania with a 3x multiplier in play.
The Free Spins are played out on the Lobstermania slot.
The slot is the same as the original game. That means there are 1,024 active paylines in play at all times and it is also possible to earn 5 more free spins at any time by landing 3 or more scatters on one of your spins. The total number of free spins available is maxed out at 240.
The Buoy Bonus Game can take place in any one of three locations – Maine, Brazil or Australia. Once you’ve chosen the location the game starts and your picks can begin. Each one will reveal either a cash prize to add to your total for the game, or a Golden Lobster. The latter triggers a new round of the Buoy Bonus that works differently for each location:
- In Maine you get a Pelican Bonus with three new possible picks. Once your prize is revealed you can pick again if you want to gamble for something bigger.
- In Australia you get a Kangaroo Bonus (of course). Now you can keep picking and adding more cash prizes to your total. Once a Golden Lobster is revealed the round ends.
- In Brazil it’s an Octopus Bonus. Each pick now reveals a multiplier or a Golden Lobster with a cash prize value to which your multiplier total is applied before the round ends.
