Theme and Design

Blazing Clusters draws inspiration from classic online slots designs. There is no particular theme or narrative, just simple fruit symbols and lucky icons like horseshoes and lucky 7s.

There are some nice animations where symbols burn up when clusters are formed, and when Blazing Multipliers drop onto the reels the whole reel set is surrounded by flames. Along with the relentless electro soundtrack it does create a bit of drama in what is otherwise a very straight forward cluster pays game.

Symbols and Paytable

Blazing Clusters sits on a classic 7x7 grid with wins triggered for landing clusters of 5 or more identical symbols in horizontally or vertically adjacent positions.

Whilst small clusters only produce very small wins, there is very good value in the paytable the further up you get and the bigger your clusters become.

The low payers are the cherries, limes, oranges, plums and melons. These are valued at from 0.1x for 5 cherries up to 4x for 30 or more melons. The premiums are classic fruity symbols: horseshoe, bell, diamond and lucky 7. These are valued at from 0.2x for 5 horseshoes up to 50x for 30 or more lucky 7s.

There are also Wilds that come in standard size or enhanced at 2x2 or 3x3. They substitute for any other symbols to complete clusters.

Features and Gameplay

Blazing Clusters brings together some of the most tried and tested slots features going – tumbles, wilds and free spins. It’s really very easy to understand.

At the heart of the action are Tumble Wins. After each winning spin, winning clusters of symbols are removed from the reels and new ones drop in to replace them. That will keep bringing up wins as long as new tumbles create more clusters.

There is also a Gamble option in Blazing Clusters. It allows you to gamble any win for more money on the spin of a wheel. You can see that in the screenshot below. What is good about this part is that you can choose how much you want to gamble for. It adds extra jeopardy to your bets, though keep in mind you lose the lot if the wheel spin doesn’t land in your favour.

At any time during the base game or free spins a Wild Rush can occur. This was regular in testing and leads to a random number of wilds and super-sized wilds dropping onto the grid to help form wins.

There is also a Free Spins round which is triggered by landing 3 or more scatters. That gets you 8 spins plus an extra 2 for every extra scatter over the 3. During this round the Wild Rush is more frequent. Also, a Blazing Multiplier appears above the reel set. Its value is applied to every win during the round. And, multiplier may rain down on the grid at any time and have their values added to the Blazing Multiplier. It’s value can be as much as 20x.
