Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania is a classic slot game brand created by US industry giant’s, IGT. What is RTP?

Starting with the maths model and Slingo Lobstermania is a high variance game, just like the original video slot. When the game begins you will be instantly credited with 10 spins to reveal numbers to match with the game grid. If you are lucky enough to reach a Full House with those spins you can go straight into the bonus game. If not, then there is an option to buy more spins and try to make it further up the pay ladder. Along the way are some extra symbols to help you. This is how they work:

  • Joker – like a Wild this symbol will sub for any other on a Slingo line. So, if one lands you can cross off a number in the horizontal line directly above.
  • Super Joker – like the Super Wilds in other Slingo games, this one will allow you to cross off any number ANYWHERE on the 5×5 grid.
  • Free Spins – if a free spin icon lands on the 1×5 reel beneath the grid then an extra spin is added to your total.
  • Devil – Devils, or Blockers as they are sometimes called, are common in Slingo games. They are not what you want to see on the reel! These symbols will block Slingos from being formed on the lines above the position they land in.

Base Game 

Slingo Lobstermania is all about unleashing the slot game by scoring 5 or more Slingos from the base game. Here is how you do it.

Like all Slingo games the screen here is dominated by a 5×5 grid, much like a 75 ball bingo card. Players start with 10 spins of a 1×5 reel that is positioned beneath the grid. After each spin 5 numbers will be revealed. Where they match those on the grid, then the numbers on the grid are crossed off. When 5 numbers in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line are all crossed off, that is a Slingo.

Along the way, Jokers, Super Jokers and Free Spins are helping you to complete Slingos, whilst Devils are trying to block you.

Spin Gamble for More Slingos

One of the best features of Slingo games is the spin gamble. This feature means that when your 10 spins are up, if you haven’t already hit 11 Slingos – a Full House – then the gig is not up. You can purchase more spins to keep trying. Just keep in mind that as the odds of getting more Slingos have narrowed, so the price of your spins has gone up. So evaluate the situation carefully before you choose to buy more plays.

Fixed Jackpots

There are THREE fixed jackpots available during the Slingo base game. They are Light Trap (50x), Full Trap (150x) and Motherlode (1,000x) and you can see them at the top of the screen above the grid. They are triggered by ‘Jackpot Overlays’ that will drop on the spin of the reel. Three gets the Light Trap, four gets the Full Trap and five gets the Motherlode.

Buoy Bonus Game and Free Spins

There are two bonus games associated with each point on the prize ladder. Remember, you need a minimum of five Slingos to unlock these bonus games. Anything less and you are going home empty-handed.

The Free Spins are played out on the Lobstermania slot.

The slot is the same as the original game. That means there are 1,024 active paylines in play at all times and it is also possible to earn 5 more free spins at any time by landing 3 or more scatters on one of your spins. The total number of free spins available is maxed out at 240.

The Buoy Bonus Game can take place in any one of three locations – Maine, Brazil or Australia. Once you’ve chosen the location the game starts and your picks can begin. Each one will reveal either a cash prize to add to your total for the game, or a Golden Lobster. The latter triggers a new round of the Buoy Bonus that works differently for each location:

  • In Maine you get a Pelican Bonus with three new possible picks. Once your prize is revealed you can pick again if you want to gamble for something bigger.

The Final Verdict

We are massive fans of the Slingo co-branded games here at AllSlotSites.com and this is one of the best. Far from being a simple Slingo game with a slot tacked onto the end of it, Slingo Lobstermania manages to create a multi-faceted bonus round with the chance to score some really decent prizes, particularly at the top end of the pay table where the 20 free spins on Lobstermania slot with a guaranteed 3x multiplier, or the 7 picks on the Buoy Bonus with a guaranteed 6x multiplier, are really enticing.
