Support at OJO is provided via email – support@playojo.com – or live chat. There is no phone support option. However, there is a very detailed FAQ section to the site available via the Help link. These cover subjects like Deposits, Withdrawals, Documents, Account Information and Safer Gambling.

There is a lot of useful information that is easy to find on the site which is great. However, when we wanted to speak directly to the support team at OJO things were not so good. The live chat is basically a virtual assistant that will try to steer you towards pre-defined answers much like the FAQs. If you cannot find what you are looking for here then you will need to speak to an agent. We did this and then waited 4 hours for a response. This is clearly not an acceptable time period if you have a burning question about payment or verification.

Furthermore, checking review sites across the web we found others had similar frustrations with OJO’s support service.

It seems odd that having gone to such great lengths to build a top class product OJO wouldn’t invest more in support, but right now it is an area they fall short on.

KYC Process

KYC (Know Your Customer) is handled through your account pages at Play OJO. It is possible to upload documentation like a scan of your passport or driver license to proof your ID, and a utility bill to proof your address, after logging in. This is helpful as it does not require you to send documents on email which can feel a little insecure. However, the process does not use AI automation to verify what you upload, so it can still take up to 24 hours for a staff member to review the documents.

For comparison, we have used third party KYC tools like Hooyu at sites like Duelz Casino, which scan and approve your documents in minutes. So, still some work for OJO to do here to improve their KYC service.
