Once again Nolimit City have done a cracking job of evoking an unsettling atmosphere and narrative which cleverly builds as the game progresses through slow-paced base game through to crazed bonus round. The action starts in a grassy space where the wooden-framed reels sit, with a stone circle surrounding them. We assume cult members are standing around the circle as we can see their bare feet as part of some kind of weird ceremony no doubt. By the time you hit the Séance and Sacrifice Spins rounds blood and fire have replaced pastoral peace and all hell breaks loose, reflecting the features and win potential too.

I should just mention the characters too who are a very memorable aspect of the slot. They range from naive devotees with blindfolds or clasped in prayer, through to the David Koresh style leader with glasses and creepy smile and his ageing, bearded, monkish sidekick who wields a book of truths.

Truly weird from NLC once again, but like the best horrors, its unsettling nature is what makes it so compelling!

True Kult is a win ways slot. That means you need to land 3 or more identical symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, starting at the far left, in order to trigger a win. With 5 reels and just 3 rows, that gives you a base line of 243 win ways.

However, this being a Nolimit City game, there are ways to increase that number by splitting symbols in the bonus rounds OR opening up the sixth reel, which immediately increases the win ways to 729.
