Website UX & Registration 8/10

Like its sister sites on the WHG label, HelloCasino.com is a reliable, functional website. There is none of the glitz and glamour of a top tier independent casino, but it does the job. Key information is easy to find and the cashier, account pages and game all load up quickly and with few errors or glitches.

Occasionally, when using the search bar on the game menu the results were returned on a page with a white background that jars with the rest of the site. But that aside, I was comfortable with the UX experience at Hello Casino.

Sign-Up and First Deposit

The registration and deposit process, including taking up my welcome bonus, took under 3 minutes in total which is quick. You will need to give your full name, address, date of birth, email and mobile number.

You will also be required to click a link in a welcome email to activate your account. This is a little unusual but does give another layer of account security so I don’t see that as a problem.

You will also need to opt-in to the sign-up bonus so don’t forget to do that when you deposit or you will miss out on the match bonus and free spins.  This is a feature of WHG sites and it allows you to decide whether or not you want to be tied up in wagering requirements and withdraw limits or stick to your own cash bets.

Catalogue and Game Providers

White Hat Gaming have deals with over 100 slots providers and most are represented here at Hello Casino. In total there are something like 2,500 games to choose from. There are few other white label operators who can match that size of game list except for perhaps Skill on Net (Play OJO has over 4,000 slots).

Names who you will recognise here include Big Time Gaming, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming, NetEnt, WMS, Blueprint Gaming, IGT, Just For The Win, Nyx, Play n Go, ReelPlay and Red Tiger. The only omissions we could think of are Yggdrasil, Novomatic and Quickspin.

Jackpot Slots

If chasing down those big wins is what you are here for then the Jackpot slots tab has plenty to offer with 117 stellar-prize games in all to choose from. There are the Dream Drop series from Relax Gaming, including Neko Nights and Templar Tumble 2 Dream Drop; Jackpot King games from Blueprint Gaming; and Mega Moolah from Microgaming. And also a long list of Must Drop jackpots by Red Tiger.

New Slots

There are more than 60 slots listed under the ‘New’ tab at Hello Casino. You can see that fresh content is being added on a weekly basis. New games like Hacksaw Gaming’s Cursed Seas and Book of Rampage by Light and Wonder were already available in first week of release.

Megaways Slots

Hello Casino has a good selection of 105 Megaways slots to play. You can jump straight to the full list by hitting the Megaways tab in the game menu. The choice includes a mix of classics and new games including Rick and Morty Megaways, Monopoly Megaways, Twin Spin Megaways and Temple Tumble Megaways.

If you enjoy these games and want a bigger selection to play you could try PlayGrand which has 170 to choose from.

Slingo Games

There are also 37 Slingo games to play at Hello Casino. These include superb slots brands like Slingo Lobstermania, Slingo Rainbow Riches and Slingo Cleopatra, as well as old classics like Slingo Riches.

Game Menu, Search Functions and Game Window

With so many games to choose from you need a sophisticated menu system to search and filter by. At Hello you can search by top level category like Megaways or Slingo slots, or by Provider which brings up a long list of 100 or so game providers to list by. There is also a simple Search option to search by name. But there is no option to search by RTP, variance or paylines, something which can be useful when looking for something new to try.

A nice feature of the game list is the Favourites tab. Roll over any game logo and a heart icon will appear. Click on this and the game is automatically added to your Favourites list so that you can find it easily next time you want to play.

The game window itself is simple but also has some useful functions. You can make a quick deposit or search out a new game without leaving the window, but there is no option to open live chat in case of an issue with a game you are playing.

Slots RTP at Hello Casino

Some slots have more than one RTP setting and it is at the discretion of your casino which one they run the game with. As part of our review process we check the RTP settings of 10 games we know to have more than one RTP option. This is what we found at Hello Casino.

Hello Casino performs well for slots RTP. All games are set to a mid to high setting and in particular the Play n Go slots are offered at the maximum RTP setting. This is good because we have seen Book of Dead running at lower than 90% RTP at other sites.

Live Dealer 8/10

For live dealer fans the action all comes courtesy of Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play. You won’t get exclusive tables here because the casino isn’t big enough to support that. But you will get choice … lots of it.

Evolution’s lobby gives you access to 150 Blackjack tables with stakes from 50p up to £5,000 per hand, more than 15 Roulettes, Sicbo and Baccarat, and poker games including Texas Hold Em vs the house. And finally, their Gameshows area continues to be the most popular in the lobby with games like Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time and Deal or No Deal Live brining in 1,000s of player for every game.

Pragmatic Play’s lobby has fewer options but remains a good alternative if you want to try something different to the Evolution games. As well as the many regular table games you can also play the live dealer version of their popular slot, Sweet Bonanza.

Loyalty Promotions 8/10

As a rule, white label casinos don’t run the same level of promotions as bigger independent sites. But you can still find a few good rewards if you shop around. At Hello Casino there are two regular offers that make this site worth spending time on.

Firstly, a Sensational Sundays offer where your first deposit of £10 or more gets you a 30% match bonus. This comes with the standard 35x wagering requirement on deposit and bonus together.

Then there is a loyalty program. The advantage of this program over others on the White Hat Gaming platform is that Hello Casino have chosen to make it clear how many points you earn for each £1 wagered. Other sites don’t do this. They simply say, the more you spend, the more points you earn and its left at their discretion if they want to change the formula. That doesn’t seem fair to me.

At Hello Casino you get 2 points for every £10 wagered on slots. 1,000 points converts to £5 bonus funds to play with. So, you need to wager £5,000 to get a £5 bonus. That may seem like a lot but remember these are wagers, not deposits so the points will quickly stack up. You will also be credited 500 points when you make your first wager. That’s an extra £2.50 on top of your sign-up offer. 

Cashier Options 8/10

When it comes to payments, Hello is set up to support most of the big payment providers. Visa, Mastercard and Maestro are all available, as are eWallets Skrill and Neteller. Paypal also makes an appearance which is good because not all White Hat Gaming sites have this. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not available however. There are no fees and this is a £10 minimum deposit casino, suitable for those making smaller first deposits.

Withdrawals at Hello Casino will normally be processed within 24 hours. There can be delays if extra verification is required. That is the same at any online casino though.

There is plenty of information on the Hello Casino website to help you out if you have any questions about the service they provider. It is all presented in a ‘Help Center’. You can click through for answers to common questions on Account, Bonus and Promotions, Deposits, Withdrawals and Technical Issues. The list of questions for each topic is fairly comprehensive and this area looks more useful than many competitor sites.

There are also email and live chat options.

The first time you use the live chat area you will be required to enter your registration details again so that the support agent can identify and verify your account. This is frustrating but if you submit a 4 digit PIN at the same time then you won’t have to do it again.

Once we were through to the support team then the service provided was very good. Agents were knowledgeable and the response time was never longer than 2 minutes.

KYC Process 8/10

To verify your account you may be asked to provide documents to prove your ID, including scans of your passport, driver license or utility bills. Hello Casino have provided a page within your account to upload documents rather than send them on email. Not only is this more secure but the turn around appears to be much quicker than we have seen at other UK casinos.
