Ever since Casumo launched back in 2012 the UK market has been flooded with new casinos with weird and whacky immersive themes and Skol is the latest in that group. It’s hard to pin down exactly what this one is about. The name suggests a Viking or Scandinavian theme, but the animal images – giraffes, elephants and tigers – suggests a holiday or safari. Whatever the intent, the website has a clean, modern feel. It’s easy to navigate and all the key links were clearly marked.

My overall impression of the website was very good. The clean white background and sharp graphics made it easy to browse and find your way around. The animal pictures are a bit off-beat but they make a nice change from the traditional roulette wheels and slot machines.

Finding Important Information

A quick browse through the site shows that all the most important information pages are easy to locate. Scroll to the footer to find terms and conditions, responsible gambling policy and bonus terms. I also found a page listing every game with the RTP settings at Skol Casino. This is a nice bit of transparency you don’t find at all UK sites. It allows you to check which RTP setting Skol have picked for those games with more than one option.

I dived straight in to register and was signed up in under 2 minutes. As you can see on the screen shot below the reg from is quick to complete with just 3 stages requiring your personal details including date of birth, address and a username and password. Note, you’ll need to verify your account by clicking a link in your welcome email.

Once you are signed up you can deposit without any further account verification. I chose Paypal and opted-in to receive the welcome bonus – £10 for £10. Whilst the response time is advertised as 1 to 2 minutes it actually took 10 before an agent responded in our window. After that they were knowledgable and quick to respond, but overall the experience was not all great.
