Jackpot Village Review

Writer: Mark Wadie, Editor

At AllSlotSites the reviews we publish are fair, independent and impartial, based on comprehensive research and testing with real money. This allows us to give you an honest appraisal of the player experience. Find out more in our article on How We Review Slot Sites.

Jackpot Village is run by White Hat Gaming, an operator with over 20 casinos and sportsbooks under their UK Gambling Commission license. This one launched in 2019 then recently refreshed with a new-look website and loyalty program in 2025. It scores well in most areas although there are concerns about tough bonus terms and delayed withdrawals and verification on some occasions.

We cover all this in detail in our review. But first, here are the key strengths and weaknesses I found in my research.

Strengths

  • The game catalogue – there is no question that Grand Ivy excels with its game selection. It covers the full spectrum from slots, Slingos and instant wins to live dealer and virtual table games. Over 5,000 games in total from more than 100 suppliers.
  • New loyalty program – Jackpot Village recently upped its game in this area. You now earn XP points for all your wagering to move through 20 ranks with improved bonuses, awards and tokens earned along the way. Tokens can be traded in the Village Store for Bonus Wheel spins and other gifts. It’s nicely executed, and the ranks aren’t that hard to achieve.
  • Daily Bonus Spins – as well as the loyalty program, every player gets a free spin on the Bonus Wheel each day with a guaranteed reward of a bonus or free spins.
  • 200 free spins welcome offer – a tasty 200 spins on Book of Dead will please any fan of this iconic game. It’s more than you get at most other sites.
  • New website and mobile app – the website has been revamped, looks really smart and is very easy to find your way around. You can also download an app if you want to play on mobile.

Weaknesses

  • Bonus terms are tight – Jackpot Village might be giving away a lot of bonus funds via their sign-up offer and new loyalty program, but they come at a price. A 40x wagering requirement deposit plus bonus or on free spins winnings is very high. I see comments about this in player forums and on TrustPilot too. It’s a feature of White Hat Gaming sites and unlikely to change any time soon.
  • £20 minimum transaction values – if you are looking to test the site out with a £10 deposit you won’t be able to!
  • Some complaints about slow withdrawals and account verification – although I haven’t experienced it myself, there are some comments about delays to withdrawals in player forums, often due to verification checks. It seems that if you’re unlucky you can find yourself a week or longer to get your money. Though I would stress that these cases are the exception rather than the rule.

Steps To Register and Claim Your Bonus At Jackpot Village

  1. Click the ‘Sign Up’ button on the home page or at the top of the website
  2. Complete the registration form by filling in your personal details including full name, address, date of birth, email address and mobile number. Make sure you enter all your details correctly. Jackpot Village will check them using 3rd party verification tools.
  3. You may be asked to provide documents to verify your ID and address. If so, upload or email scans or photos as requested.
  4. You have the option to set deposit limits for your account using the Responsible Gambling tools.
  5. Click the green ‘Deposit’ button then pick your payment option from the list.
  6. Enter how much you want to deposit. The minimum is £20.
  7. Make sure you pick the welcome offer from the list of available bonuses.
  8. Confirm your deposit.
  9. Your free spins will be credited - just open Book of Dead slot to start playing.
  10. When your 200 spins are over, your winnings - capped at £20 - will be credited to your bonus balance.

I found claiming this offer to be really easy. I played through my 200 spins and won £14.20 which is now sitting on my bonus balance. I'll need to wager it 40x (£568) to come away with any real cash from the deal. That's no easy task!

Sign Up Offer Terms

The Jackpot Village sign up offer sets restrictions on what you can do with your free spins winnings. Make sure you understand these before you deposit. Remember, if you don’t like the terms you don’t have to opt in to the deal.

Your free spins winnings are paid as bonus funds. Your bonus funds balance is displayed separately to your cash balance on the website as ‘Bonus Balance’. Once you have used up your free spins you must then wager your bonus balance 40x before it is transferred over to your cash balance. For example, if you have won £10 from your free spins then your bonus balance will display £10. You will then need to wager £400 from that before whatever remains is transferred to cash. Only wagers on slots, scratchcards and keno contribute towards meeting these wagering requirements.

There is also a cap of £20 on winnings from your free spins.

Is This A Good Deal?

It is unusual to receive as many as 200 free spins as a welcome bonus so this is a generous deal. However, the terms and conditions are NOT generous. The wagering requirements of 40x the winnings are higher than you find at most other sites. And in my opinion they make it unlikely that you would walk away with any cash at the end.  There is also the cap of £20 on the winnings to consider. This is also lower than what you see at other casinos where free spins frequently come with a cap of £100 on the winnings.

That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take up the offer – it’s still 200 free spins on a very good slot. Just be aware of those restrictions that tilt the odds heavily in the favour of the house.

For an alternative offer you could try Kwiff who are currently giving away 200 free spins on Book of Dead with NO wagering requirements, or 247Bet where you can claim 100 free spins with no wagering requirements on Big Bass Splash. Also, check out our ‘no wagering’ free spins page for more deals.

Promotions and Loyalty Program

Jackpot Village is packed with promotions. Alongside the standard daily spins and bonus deals there is now a loyalty program with ranks (level-ups) and missions.

Here is a summary of what you can get.

The Loyalty Quarter – Earn XP To Unlock Rewards

The new loyalty program at Jackpot Village is called the Loyalty Quarter, representing an area of the village. It’s a simple loyalty scheme with 20 Ranks, each one unlocked by accumulating XP. Every time you wager £5 on slots you get 1 XP. To give you an idea, to get to level 2 you are required to earn 100 points, or wager £500. You can see that in the screenshot below.

Loyalty Quarter at Jackpot Village
Loyalty Quarter showing progress through the ranks

Each new Rank gets you a loyalty reward – bonuses and free spins, a badge displayed in your account and tokens that can be exchanged for extra rewards in the Village Store.

This is a standard loyalty program with level-ups but its nicely presented with a little map showing the journey through the Ranks and a progress bar showing how far you have to go to reach the next Rank.

Tokens and the Village Store

As well as earning tokens for your progress through the ranks you can also pick them up for taking part in Missions advertised in your account, for playing minigames and for joining in promotions. After signing up and depositing £20 the Village Store on my account shows a huge range of rewards to pick up including 20 Spins on Legion Gold for 600 tokens, or 10 spins on Big Bass Splash for 300 tokens.

Daily Wheel Spins

The Bonus Wheel is now available on most of the White Hat Gaming casinos. If you have a verified account and you have made a deposit then you are eligible to spin the wheel every day and pick up bonus spins and deposit bonuses. Most of the prizes require a deposit to unlock them.

The Village Fete – Get a Share of £10,000 Bonus Funds

The casino shares out £10,000 in bonus funds amongst players who have deposited £20 or more and wagered their deposit 40x in the previous calendar month. However, the sharing out of the bonus funds is done at the casino’s discretion so you aren’t guaranteed to get anything.

Prize Draws With Up To £30,000 Prizes

Jackpot Village also have 3 prize draws running with some big prize pools. However, the bar to entry in terms of deposits and wagering is high so these look like they are aimed at the big spenders.

  • Annual £30,000 Prize Draw - runs from February to the following January and requires you to wager £500,000 to earn just 1 ticket!
  • £10,000 Mega Giveaway – runs 3 times a year with full draw dates listed on the website. You need to wager £100,000 to earn 1 ticket.
  • The Villagers £500 Weekly Cash Giveaway – a weekly prize draw that requires you to wager £4,000 to earn a ticket.

Software and Games

9/10

Jackpot Village has a massive range of slots, live dealer, table games and instant wins. Unlike some White Hat Gaming sites, it does not run a sportsbook. You can browse between live casino and slots at the top of the site or explore in more depth using the filters at the top of the game menu.

The game list is huge thanks to contributions from over 100 different game providers creating a diverse catalogue to suit players with a variety of tastes and budgets. You can browse the full list of providers from the game menu. You’ll find the biggest names in the industry like NetEnt, Games Global and Pragmatic Play, as well as numerous smaller studios like Inspired Gaming, Spinomenal and Raw iGaming.

I’ve picked out 15 of the best providers from the list and their best games to demonstrate the quality and diversity on show.

Online Slots

Once logged in there are more than 4,500 slots to browse. This is a sizeable catalogue and enough for most slots fans with a fantastic blend of old-school classics, modern, innovative titles and much in between too. You can browse by categories like the Big Bass series, Popular games and New slots, as well as one section dedicated to Pragmatic Play games, with over 460 to try. There is no Megaways filter but you can type it into the search bar and bring up over 150 of those too, including Gonzo’s Quest MegawaysBonanza and Buffalo Rising All Action Megaways.

Jackpot Slots

True to their name, Jackpot Village hosts an enticing selection of big money progressive jackpots too. There are more than 280 currently listed on the site from 5 big networks – Mega Moolah, King Millions, WowPot, Dream Drop and Jackpot King. Collectively that means there is £10,000,000s to play for across some very exciting games. I’m a big fan of Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop network myself as it pays out more regularly than the others. There are also close to 50 Dream Drop games to try your luck on which is a fantastic selection.

Here are 5 progressive jackpots I would recommend from the selection.

Live Dealer

You’ll find three industry-leading live casino suppliers here: Authentic Gaming, Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming. What’s more, there are over 50 different games represented.

All of the traditional favourites are available, including roulette, blackjack and baccarat. Many of these games also boast exciting and innovative variations, such as Double Ball Roulette7’s On Fire or Lightning Blackjack

As if that weren’t enough, you can also play a number of colourful and engaging game shows, like Crazy Time, Monopoly Big Baller and Boom City.

Evolution Gaming

With good reason, Evolution is universally regarded as the industry’s best live casino supplier. High definition streams, charismatic presenters, innovative and pioneering game mechanics - you name it, they have it.

At Jackpot Village, you can play classic Evolution table games, such as blackjack, roulette and craps, from as little as £0.10. The upper limit, meanwhile, is an impressive enough £10,000. In terms of game shows, the full Evolution suite of products can be found here, with everything from Deal Or No Deal to Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt.

Pragmatic Play

This top live casino supplier has a range of gameshows to rival those of Evolution, most notably Snakes & Ladders Live, PowerUp Roulette and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. But their Asian games are possibly what marks them out from other live casino providers.

Not only can you enjoy a number of popular titles originating from that continent, such as Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo and Andar Bahar. But you can even play standard games like roulette with a Hindi speaking dealer and an Indian-themed studio.

Authentic Gaming

The majority of Authentic titles at Jackpot Village are roulette games. Both standard and automated wheels are available, although betting limits tend to be lower than the bigger providers. For instance, the main Live Roulette game has an upper limit of £100.

Popular variations include 7’s On Fire, which blends roulette with slots and 500x Roulette Live, with its random multipliers. Aside from roulette, blackjack is the only other game supplied by Authentic.

Table Games

There are also 57 virtual table games at Jackpot Village. These include both classic formats of video poker, blackjack and roulette as well as fun formats like Mega Moolah Roulette and Immortal Romance Roulette.

Slingo Games

There are also more than 50 Slingo titles from Gaming Realms in the Jackpot Village portfolio. These games make an interesting alternative to slots as they mix up the traditional slots and bingo game formats. There are originals like Slingo XXXtreme as well as some slots brand hybrids like Slingo Starburst and Book of Slingo.

You can check out more casinos with Slingo on our Slingo Sites page.

Other Games

And if all that wasn’t enough then you can dip into a collection of more than 139 instant win games like scratchcards, plinkos and dice games. This is a more expansive list than you see at most casinos and shows that Jackpot Village is looking to cater to a wide audience. The pace is less intense and the stakes are low so these games can make a welcome break from the cut and thrust of slots and live dealer.

Website and App Experience

9/10

The Jackpot Village have gone bold with their website, displaying a city skyline at night with glittering skyscrapers and a tidy black and gold color scheme that suggests a high-class casino.

Jackpot Village Home Page
Jackpot Village Home Page

The user experience is impressive too. Sign up took me just a few minutes and once I was logged-in I could easily find my way around to set my responsible gambling limits, deposit and claim my bonus. I found important information like the terms and conditions, Complaints Procedure and promotions information all within easy reach.

In short, the quality of the production and the easy usability give me trust in the site.

Download Jackpot Village To Your Mobile

A Jackpot Village app is also available at the App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android. It downloads and installs in seconds and gives you access via the same account to all the same games, as well as the option to deposit and withdraw.  The iPhone version requires iOS 14.0 or later. It has a 4.4/5 rating.

Banking

8/10

The choice of payment methods at Jackpot Village is good with a decent mixture of debit cards and e-wallets - including Paypal and Skrill – and no hidden fees. The only drawback is a minimum transaction value of £20 which is quite high. If you are looking to deposit less than £20 will need to go elsewhere. You can try our list of £10 deposit casinos instead.

Payout Speed

At Jackpot Village withdrawals times can take anything up to 72 hours to be processed once an account has been verified. White Hat Gaming sites do not process payments at weekends, or outside office hours in the week. From Monday to Friday the processing time will be anything up to 48 hours.

There are also a small number of reports on TrustPilot from players who say they have waited up to 2 weeks for their account to be verified and a withdrawal to be approved. But these are likely to be rare cases.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks

KYC Checks are carried out by all licensed gambling operators in the UK as part of the requirement to fulfil social responsibility and anti-money laundering commitments. Your age, ID and address are all verified automatically on registration. But you may be required to provide formal documents if you go on to deposit and withdraw significant amounts.

Here is a breakdown of when and why Jackpot Village may carry out these checks:

  • On Registration - automated checks are carried out to verify your ID, age and address. This is to prevent fraud and under age gambling. Casinos use 3rd party verification tools like Experian for these checks. If your details cannot be verified you may be asked to provide scans of documents like a driver license and / or a utility bill as proof.
  • On Deposit or Withdrawals - when you meet significant deposit and withdrawal thresholds - usually around £1,000 to £2,000 you will be asked to send or upload documents to prove your ID, address and age.
  • Ad Hoc - all licensed casinos monitor their customers spend patterns. If they see unusual behaviour such as sudden sharp increases in the amount deposited then they may request more information about your income and finances to proof you can afford what you are spending. These are sometimes called Source of Wealth checks.

What Documents Will I Need To Provide?

At each stage you may be asked to provide one or more of the documents listed below. Scans, photos or screenshots can be uploaded via your account page under ‘My Details’.

Passport or driver license – for proof of age and ID
Bank statement or utility bill – for proof of your address
Bank card / screenshot of eWallet – for proof of ownership of payment method
Pay slip – for proof of earnings
Bank statement – for proof of source of wealth or earnings

Contacting Support

  • Live Chat (24/7) – via the ‘Contact Us’ link – click on ‘Chat Now’
  • Phone Support – Not available
  • FAQs – via the ‘Contact Us’ link – head to the ‘Help Center’

Jackpot Village can be contacted on email or live chat, but there is no phone support. Live chat is 24/7. I have used this service several times and found the response times to vary from less than a minute to up to 5 minutes. Once you are through the agents are real people – no AI bots – and they do the job well. However, the conversations can be a bit slow and it does feel like they might be dealing with more than 1 customer at a time.

If your problem isn’t urgent, consider using the Help Centre, which is a fairly sizable collection of FAQs neatly divided into categories like Deposits, Responsible Gambling and Bonus and Promotions.

Player Protection and Trust

9/10

Jackpot Village is managed by White Hat Gaming Limited who are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. The licensing framework in the UK, laid out in the Licensing Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP), is built around player protection and all operators are required to put features in place that make gambling with them safe and fair. That includes the following at Jackpot Village:

Site FeatureMore Info

The UK Gambling Commission audits all operators to ensure that they continue to adhere to the terms of their licenses. The regulator can issue fines or suspend a license if an operator is failing in their commitments.

Responsible Gambling Tools at Jackpot Village

Responsible Gambling tools are a requirement for sites run under a UK gambling license. Not all casinos provide the same options, and some are better at promoting them than others.

In the case of Jackpot Village all the basic tools are there, but there is no option to set limits on wagering or losses which is a useful addition at other sites. Also, once you find the Responsible Gambling page in your account you then have to scroll through a lot of text to find the link to set the limits which is not great.

The following Responsible Gambling tools are available:

  • Deposit Limits - set limits on deposits by day, week or month
  • Game Time Reminders - reminders that tell you how long you have been logged in for
  • Clock Off / Time Out - limit your access to the site for a period of the day or week
  • Account Closure - simply close your account, with the option to re-open at any time
  • Account History - monitor your spend using this tool to view previous deposits and withdrawals
  • Payday Timeout Tool - set recurring times to limit your access around your payday
  • Self Exclusion - exclude yourself from all White Hat Gaming sites for up to 5 years

I was prompted to set my deposit limits as soon as I had registered which is good, but I think there is room for improvement in how Jackpot Village promotes these tools through the account page.

What Others Say - Reviews From Players and Consumer Sites

There are several popular online platforms where players can leave reviews of their experiences at casinos. We look at TrustPilot, CasinoMeister and Ask Gamblers to find out what people are saying about Jackpot Village.

TrustPilot

Average score of 1.6/5 from 115 reviews (5 star - 14%, 1 star - 74%).

This is a low score, with a high percentage of reviewers giving the site a 1-star rating. However, the sample size is small with just 115 reviews since 2020. This reflects the relatively small size of the brand.

There are a few common themes in the reviews:

  • Slow withdrawals – account verification at Jackpot Village can significantly slow down a withdrawal. Two people report waiting over 7 days and one reports waiting more than 2 weeks for funds to be processed.
  • Steady withdrawals – there are also reports that for verified accounts, withdrawals can be steady, if not lightning quick. One reports a £3,300 withdrawal dropping into their account within 24 hours, another reports £1,500 arriving within 48 hours, and another says £762 was withdrawn to their bank in 10 hours.
  • Strict on bonus abuse – there are several comments from people who had their accounts shut down for ‘bonus abuse’. This is the practice of using bonus funds strategically to give yourself a better chance of walking away with cash winnings. White Hat are strict here and will block you from all their sites in extreme cases.
  • Slow response from customer support some players add that when chasing up withdrawals the support teams responses are slow and unhelpful.

4.9/10 from 10 player reviews

This is a very small sample over 5 years. There are some negative comments about the design of the website and one from a player who got barred for bonus abuse. But nothing about slow withdrawals or account verification.

Casinomeister

Jackpot Village is not reviewed on Casinomeister and is not mentioned in the forums. This is another indicator that this is one of White Hat Gaming’s smaller sites.

What Do These Reviews Tell Us?

Jackpot Village is not a big brand and its coverage in player forums is minimal. However, we can draw some insights from what is there, mainly around payout times. For a minority of players there may be delays to withdrawals caused by document checks. This is not uncommon at UK casinos. However, for those who are verified, the withdrawal time is fair, if not super-fast.

Our Verdict

Due to the rather cluttered and busy front page, I wasn't sure about Jackpot Village when I first arrived, but after spending time browsing through the games, signing up and playing I found it actually to be a casino of substance.  With more than 4,500 games to choose from, it’s by no means the biggest, but it’s not small either. More importantly, the titles are all top-quality. Games from both Evolution and Pragmatic Play are present, for instance, ensuring the best possible live dealer experience.  And in terms of slots, you can expect the latest innovations from award-winning studios. Think more Relax Gaming and Nolimit City than Realtime Gaming. It’s a shame that there isn't more search and filter functionality to explore that big game list, but putting that aside, it's a really strong catalogue.  In conclusion, most players will find Jackpot Village a good place at which to gamble. Deposit and withdrawal limits are fair and there are no unnecessary fees. Table stakes are wide and there's a solid selection of games. And for those who like Play n Go's Book of Dead, Jackpot Vilage also offers a cracking sign up deal.
