The symbols in Money Cart Bonus Reels are the same as those in the original Money … games. These include tumbleweed, safes, a selection of bandits and hats filled with cash. Respins

When you hit 3 or more purple bonus symbols, the Respins feature is launched, with the bonus icons locked in place. You get 3 Respins and when you hit more bonus symbols, the Respins counter is reset to 3 and the round continues. If you fill an entire reel with symbols, then a new reel is added. This event can happen twice in one round of re-spins.

Modifiers

But that’s not all.

As well as this fast-paced re-spins bonus, there are a stack of modifiers that come into play throughout your session, enhancing the payouts to varying degrees. So, as well as money symbols triggering 0.1 to 1x wins and golden symbols triggering 0.2 to 20x wins, there are Modifier symbols that award the following:

  • Payer – a value is displayed which is added to all the other symbols
  • Persistent Payer – the same as the Payer Modifier but the feature continues to affect all the other Respins in the round
  • Collector – a value is displayed which collects all other symbol values and adds them onto its own value
  • Sniper – picks off between 3 and 8 symbols and doubles their value.
  • Persistent Sniper -does the snipers job for ALL spins in the re-spin cycle
  • Necromancer – brings non-persistent symbols back to life!
  • Collector / Payer – Reveals a coin value to which all other coin values are added.
  • Persistent Collector – the same as the Collector Modifier but the feature continues to affect all the other Respins in the round
  • Widener – shows a value and adds an extra reel to the gaming screen

Through these modifiers it’s possible to fill all positions with symbols, hit the win cap of 5,000x and expand the reels by a further two (which earns you an extra 50x payout). Of course, more likely you can also burn through your re-spins and come away with a more modest prize. Either way, experience shows that this frenetic spin / modifier combination delivers a unique type of slot play that is kind of un-matched right now.

The Final Verdict

Money Cart Bonus Reels is an interesting sequel to Money Train, already a hugely a popular high-risk slot itself. And whilst visually these slots are or course very similar, the gameplay here is far more intense.

The 5 reels can quickly expand thanks to the gunslingers and when this happens you will get a bigger gaming screen with boosted ways to win. Meanwhile, the all-important re-spins feature kicks in very frequently – it has to as that is all you are here for – making the game feel like you’re permanently playing a bonus round. What’s not to like about that?

The big let-down though comes from the boast at the top of the screen: ‘Win up to 50,000’. This tagline doesn’t mention the coin value and on closer inspection, this ‘50,000’ is revealed only to be worth 5,000x your bet. This is disappointing, especially compared with its predecessor Money Train, which offered a real 50,000x top prize. Keep in this in mind, but also weigh that up against the 98% RTP which is cut above most other Relax slots. For the modifiers, it’s all about the Persistent Payer and Persistent Collectors which can bounce your wins up considerably when they are activated.

In summary, although you can wangle a bigger potential prize from the Money Train, this faster-paced Money Cart is compelling and one that Relax fanatics and new-comers to their catalogue are sure to love.
