The Neptune Play site is pleasing on the eye and easy to use. As well as a striking black background which brings out the colors of the bright logos in the game menu this site also shares the same layout as many other Aspire Global casinos, which means you feel at home if you’ve played at other sites on their network. Key areas of the site like the sign-up pages, account pages and game menu, are all identical to sister sites like MrPlay or Spin Rio.

And even if you haven’t played at other Aspire sites you’ll soon find your way around as the navigation is very easy to follow. You can jump between the main slots area – labelled casino – and the live tables and sportsbook using three links at the top of the page. There is also a link taking you to a list of live promotions here. And everything else you need, like help pages, responsible gambling info, bonus policy and banking info can be located via the menu at the foot of the page.

Once signed up, the player account area is laid out in a simple style in a popup window from the main site of Neptune Play. You can view your balance, deposit and cashout, see live bonus deals open to you, view your transaction history, upload your verification documents, and easily set your deposit, wager and loss limits, all within this space.

During my time researching this review over a few hours, the website performed very well. It loaded quickly on both mobile and desktop, I didn’t spot any broken links or technical glitches, and all information was up to date and easy to find.

Registration At Neptune Play

Should you decide to register at Neptune Play after reading this review, it will take you just a few minutes. Once you arrive on the site, if you’re not signed-in then hitting any Join Now or Play Now button on their home page will automatically pop open the sign up window in front of the site. It’s a 2-step process and you’ll need the following information:

Online Slots 7/10

Aspire Global sites like this one have good game lists, but they do not have anywhere like the high numbers of slots as independent casinos like Casumo, or some of the bigger white label platforms like Skill on Net or White Hat Gaming. Still, there are probably around 1,000 titles in all to choose from here, which isn’t bad.

Game providers whose slots appear at Neptune Play include Play n Go, Big Time Gaming, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Blueprint Gaming, IGT, iSoftPlay, Hacksaw Gaming, StakeLogic, Scientific and Quickspin. However, some there are some notable omissions. You won’t find games from Relax Gaming, Nolimit City or Thunderkick for example.

You can browse the list by using the basic menu system above the game logos which filters by Featured, New, Drops and Wins, and All Games. Or, you can use the search box at the top if you know the name of the game you want to play. This is all fine but it would be easier if you could filter by game provider, theme, progressive jackpot, variance levels or other groupings. It’s one of the few weaknesses in this platform that make the game listing difficult to explore.

The tables are provided by three names – Evolution, Authentic and Skywind. Of these 3, Evolution are far the biggest. Their tables are pooled across 1,000s of online casinos so you’ll be playing alongside gamblers from many other sites. That means they may have 10,000s of players online at any time, so there are more tables, formats and bet ranges than at tables from the other 2 providers. On the other hand, Authentic and Skywind have unique access to live action from real casinos across Europe, which can be fun.

The promotions calendar at Neptune Play is not stacked with offers. This is typical of Aspire Global sites, which don’t have many exclusive deals. You’ll find that here, with details of how to enter.

Aside from the sign-up deal, the only other offer published on the promotions page at time of writing is a Daily Spin Frenzy where completing challenges like wagering £100, £300, £500 or £1,000 gets you 10, 15, 25 or 50 spins.

Of course there may be other deals available via SMS and Email and it’s recommended you opt into receiving these so you don’t miss out.

Cashier Options 8/10

The cashier service at Neptune Play offers a full range of payment options. In fact, more than you find at many other sites. And, unusually for an Aspire Global site, Neptune Play does NOT charge fees for deposits or withdrawals.

Payout Speed 7/10

Aspire Global sites all use the same cashier system. Cash outs may be processed in just a few hours. However, they do NOT process withdrawals outside of office hours. So, that’s no weekend withdrawals, or evening / night time withdrawals. Therefore, if you cash out on a Friday evening at 6pm you will be waiting until Monday morning for your transaction to be approved.

I tested the withdrawal times, and this is what I found.

Once Neptune Play has processed your payment, your payment service will then have to make the funds available. With eWallets payments like Paypal, Skrill or Neteller this happens instantly, but bank payments through Visa, Mastecard and Maestro can take up to 5 days, though they are usually under 24 hours.

Customer Support 7/10

Customer Support at Neptune Play can be reached via email or live chat, but not phone line. There is also an FAQ page, accessible from the footer links, that answers a lot of commons questions.

The live chat service is available between 8am and midnight. Outside of those times you will have to wait or send an email. The level of service is generally good, with response times usually under 2 minutes. The team here service all Aspire sites and they are very knowledgeable on the platform and account issues. The only drawback is the limited hours which won’t suit those who play through the night.

KYC Process 8/10

Know Your Customers (KYC), or account verification as its also called, is a standard procedure at any casino licensed in the UK. This is how an operator verifies your age, ID and sources of funds.

Whilst some checks are done in a frictionless way behind the scenes on sign up by checking your details against the electoral register, once certain deposit and withdrawal thresholds are reached, you may be asked to submit personal documents for further proof.

At Neptune Play this has been made easy by a Document Upload tool in the account pages. This allows you to securely upload scans of your passport, driver license, utility bills, bank statement and debit cards. Some or all of which may be requested by the team.

I have used this system before and it works well as long as you make sure you can see the full document in the scan of photo. Some documents, like passport or driver licensed, are processed almost instantly, which is great because saves a lot of time. However, when proofing source of funds via bank statement, it can take longer, sometimes 2 or 3 days. Presumably that is because it requires human input. The other checks use an AI tool.
