The game menu and search functions are areas that let Magic Red down a little.

Finding your way around all these games is not as easy as it could be. There is no smart search and filter functionality on the site. So, you can’t search by game features or variance for example. All you can do is type a game name or game provider into the search box to bring up a list of relevant slots. And whilst there is the option to filter by New Slots, or Magic Red’s own list of Featured Games its fair to say that the menu could be improved greatly with further categories to explore like Jackpots, Megaways, Must Drops or Grid Slots.

Having said that, once you have opened a game there is some nice functionality that makes for a smooth experience. For example , you can make a quick deposit without closing your slot down and you can also search out new games or look for recommendations, all without having to end your session and head back to the main site.

Customer Support at Magic Red is provided on email and live chat, but not on a phone line. The service is also limited to hours of 08:00 and Midnight CET 7 days a week. In my experience this is a good service and live chat response times are usually less than 1 or 2 minutes. The staff are real people, not AI bots, which is great, and they are generally very knowledgeable on bonuses and account queries, though less so when it comes to questions about specific games.

One of the few negatives about the website is that it can be tricky to find the live help link. For reference, it is displayed in the footer but you MUST be logged in to see it. It appears as ‘Chat To Us’. Alternatively, when you are not logged in you can hit the ‘Help’ link at the top of the site to bring up FAQs and an email form.

KYC Process 8/10

Know Your Customer (KYC) – verifying your ID, address and source of funds – is just part of the online casino experience nowadays and you won’t be able to avoid it.
