Website UX & Registration 9/10

PlayFrank has a clean and spacious website design with nice pastel colors. It is a cut above most other Aspire Global casinos and I found it much easier to navigate my way around. The game menu area is less crowded and information pages like Promotions and Terms and Conditions are nicely laid out so they are easy to read.

Registration took just a few minutes to complete. It’s a 2-step process that requires you to choose a username and password then enter personal details including your full home address and mobile number. Make sure you enter all this information correctly or your account may be rejected or you may experience delays with deposits and withdrawals later.

Once you are logged in the account area is the same as you find at every other Aspire site. It’s a neat format where you can make deposits and cashouts, set your limits, upload verification documents, view transaction history and any live bonuses from within a popup window.

Overall, the PlayFrank site is easy to use and well designed.

Online Slots 9/10

The PlayFrank slots list is big.

There is significantly more choice here than most Aspire sites offer. Hit the slots filter in the game navigation and you’ll see how many are currently available to play. There were 2,662 slots when I viewed the list. This number grows as new games are added.

You can also use the Vendors tab at the end of the game navigation to view a list of slots by provider, which is a useful tool. It shows 44 providers in total including big names like Play n Go, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Eyecon, Blueprint, Scientific and NetEnt. This is a good selection though not as big as you find at a White Hat or Skill on Net site and there are some notable omissions like Relax Gaming, Push Gaming and Nolimit City.

Exploring this sizeable game list can be done using a search bar that lets you search by game name, or by the filter options which are limited to Featured, New, Jackpots and Drops and Wins. It’s a good system if you know what you are looking for but could be improved to help explore more games like the ones you enjoy with further filters like Megaways, Slingos, Themes or Paylines for example.

The New tab revealed 165 slots, including some very recent releases like Hacksaw’s Keep Em and Pragmatic Play’s Fruity Treats, both fresh out of the box in the 7 days prior to writing. This is a good indicator that you’ll get access to the very latest games at PlayFrank.

Under Jackpots there are 50 slots in total, made up almost entirely of Blueprint’s Jackpot King series, including slots like The Goonies, Genie Jackpots and Fishin Frenzy. That’s great if you like Blueprint JPs but there are other networks out there. And if you want more choice, including your Dream Drops or Mega Moolahs, then you will need to try another casino.

For Slingo fans there are 45 games in total. You can find these by hitting the Slingo link under Vendors or by typing Slingo into the search box. This covers the most popular titles but again, there are some not included. Check out other Slingo sites like Play OJO or Bacana Play for a bigger selection.

There are 145 Megaways games in the list at PlayFrank too, including Big Time Gaming’s best like Bonanza and many from their licensed partners including Ted Megaways and Invaders Megaways. To find these, type ‘Megaways’ into the search bar. That brings up a full list.

In summary, PlayFrank has enough quality there to keep most slots players happy for a long time though dedicated followers of some popular developers (NLC in particular) or jackpot networks might feel that this sizeable list still comes up short.

Live Dealer 6/10

PlayFrank positions itself as a site for slots fans and chooses not to offer the same quantity of live dealer tables as many other casinos we have reviewed. However, you can still enjoy a range of ‘Gameshow’ formats from Evolution Gaming.

These are not like traditional table games but have a TV show format instead. Popular gameshows include Crazy Time, Dream Catcher, Monopoly Live, Deal or No Deal and Lightning Dice.  These are very entertaining games and you’ll find 10,000s of players enjoying them at any one time with stakes starting at just 10p.

If you hit the ‘Lobby’ button whilst playing one of these gameshows you will then find a limited list of Poker, SicBo and Roulettes. But there is no Blackjack. If you want more table games to choose from then I recommend trying one of independent casinos like Casumo.

Loyalty Promotions 9/10

Loyalty programs and weekly offers are often disappointing at white label casinos but PlayFrank bucks the trend with a stacked calendar of bonuses and events that give you reason to come back every day of the week. If you are looking for a slot site for the long term it is as good a reason as any to choose PlayFrank.

Bear in mind that these offers will change from season to season but when I browed the promotions pages deals included 100 free spins on Tales of Asgard on Monday, 50% match bonus on Tuesday, 120 spins on Ring on Odin on Wednesday, 120 spins on Rotiki on Thursday, 50 spins on Book of Dead on Friday and 100 spins on Big Bass Bonanza on Sunday.

All free spins deals come with winnings paid in bonus funds with a 35x wagering requirement. Those are fairly standard terms. If you prefer your winnings in cash I recommend trying MrQ from Lindar Media.

There was also access to Pragmatic Play’s networked Drop and Win tournaments with £2,000,000 in prizes monthly and a 4-day, £2,500 Immortal Ways tournament with a £500 top prize.

Overall, I was impressed with the promotions at PlayFrank. The quantity of offers is better than you find at most rival sites and terms are competitive.

Cashier Options 7/10

Through the Aspire Global platform PlayFrank accepts deposits and withdrawals though all the major payment services: Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Skrill, Trustly, MuchBetter, Paysafecard and Instant Transfer.  There is no Apple Pay here – check our Apple Pay casinos guide for more options.

The minimum deposit amount is £10 which is very reasonable. However, keep in mind that most promotions require a deposit of at least £20 to qualify.

There is one big caveat that comes with all Aspire Global sites – deposit fees on Visa and Mastercard of 2.5% and Paypal of 3.1%. It’s unusual and it’s certainly something to think about when you decide whether or not to sign up. As an example, on my £20  first deposit with Paypal I paid a 62p fee.

Withdrawal processing at Aspire Global sites is fast if you make your withdrawal during office hours. However, the team do not work nights or weekends. So, if you choose to withdraw on a Friday afternoon for example, your payment will not be processed until the Monday morning.

Having said that, from experience I can say that during the week, you can find your transaction comes through in less than an hour, though on most occasions it will take up to 8 hours.

Customer Support 8/10

PlayFrank uses the Aspire Global customer support set-up. The same team provides support to all the Aspire sites. And they are generally very good. You can speak to the team via email or live chat, but not phone. The live chat will be on between 8am and midnight daily and they are NOT AI bots, but real humans who know their stuff.

Of course, if you are a night owl spinning through the early hours then it can be frustrating to wait for a response to any communications. At that time you can email to support@playfrank.com or try the FAQs through the site footer. They are comprehensive but of course they can’t answer specific queries about your account or gameplay.

KYC Process 9/10

If you become a regular at PlayFrank then you are likely to be asked to provide documents to verify your ID, address and possibly source of funds. Suitable documents include passport, driver license, utility bills and bank statements.

You can scan these and then upload them to your account via the Document Upload link once you’ve logged in. I have used this function a few times and it’s very reliable. Simple ID documents will be reviewed and verified in minutes. But financial statements can take a few days. This is standard for slot sites which are required by law to follow anti money laundering and responsible gambling guidelines to the letter. PlayFrank does this as well as any other casino I have used.
