Review Summary

Spinland is a UK-licensed casino on the White Hat Gaming label. It is one of their older sites, established in 2017. It deserves praise for its massive game list and good level of service in the areas of the cashier and support, but the website is showing its age. But if you can look past that, their current sign up offer - a very generous 150 'no wager' spins on Big Bass Splash - might just seal it for you.

Before we get into the details, here is a summary of the strengths and weaknesses of Spinland.

Strengths

  • Safety, Security and Fairness – there are good reasons to trust this casino. It holds a UK license and it is managed by White Hat Gaming who are a very popular and successful gambling operator with more than 20 sites in the UK, Europe and North America.
  • Massive Game Selection – like all other White Hat sites, Spinland benefits from the operator’s excellent tech platform which gives access to an enormous catalogue of games. Slots players will love Spinland – there are 1,000s of titles spanning every format and pay model you can imagine.
  • Exciting Sign-Up Deal – the latest sign-up offer here is a very good one. You get 150 Big Bass Splash spins where your winnings are paid in cash. Not many other sites match that.
  • Lots Of Choice With Payments – the cashier gives you the option to deposit with Apple Pay, Revolut and Trustly alongside the usual debit cards and eWallets like Paypal.
  • Daily Bonuses - a daily Bonus Wheel promotion gives every verified player the chance to claim a bonus or free spins. So almost every time you deposit you can claim a bit extra.

Weaknesses

  • Issues With The Website – a significant issue I experienced whilst researching this review was the website. It looks poor and clearly needs re-designing for the modern age. Its slow to load in places on mobile too which I found off-putting.
  • High Wagering Requirements – deposit match bonuses are subject to a 35x wagering requirement on the deposit and the bonus together. That is higher than you see at most other sites.

Sign Up Offer and Bonuses

7/10

Spinland’s bonuses and promotions are competitive. They include a very strong sign-up offer, a daily Bonus Wheel that kicks out free spins and bonuses almost every time you spin, a simple loyalty program and cash prize draws. What impressed me most was that collectively these offers provide something for every type of player from smaller spenders to VIPs.

A summary of all on-going promotions is shown in this table.

Register and deposit £10 or more at Spinland, then wager £10 or more on slots to qualify for this deal. You will automatically receive 150 spins to use on Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Splash slot.

Steps To Register and Claim Your Bonus At Spinland

  1. Hit the red ‘Play’ button on the home page or the red ‘Sign Up’ button at the top of the screen on any page.
  2. Enter your details to complete the form. You’ll need your full name, date of birth, address, mobile number and email address. You must enter these details correctly. They will be checked using 3rd party verification tools.
  3. If your details don’t match those in publicly held databases then you may be required to provide documents to formally verify yourself. If you are prompted to do so, follow the instructions to upload copies of your documents.
  4. You will be prompted to set your own deposit limits. This is optional.
  5. Choose your preferred payment service from the options in the list.
  6. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
  7. Choose the sign-up bonus from the list of options.
  8. Confirm your deposit.
  9. Wager at least £10 on any of the slot games at Spinland.
  10. Your Big Bass Splash spins will automatically be credited. Any winnings generated from the spin will be paid out in real cash which you can withdraw or wager as you wish.

This is a very simple deal!

Once you have wagered £10 on slots just open Big Bass Splash and your free spins will be waiting there. Whilst you play the 150 spins your winnings will accumulate. When the 150 spins are up the winnings will be transferred to your cash balance. Anything over £100 will be voided first. You can then do what you want with the money – withdraw it or play it. Just remember the minimum withdrawal is £20.

I think this is an excellent deal. The bar to entry is very low at just £10 deposit and 150 free spins on a quality slot like Big Bass Splash is an unusually generous amount. For comparison, at Play OJO you get 80 ‘no wager’ spins on Big Bass Bonanza for a £10 deposit, and at Kwiff Casino you get 40 ‘no wager’ spins on Book of Dead for a £20 deposit.

The only caveat is that there is no deposit match bonus to compliment the free spins. If you want one of those you’ll need to look elsewhere. You could try 247Bet instead where you get 100% up to £247 and 100 ‘no wager’ spins on Big Bass Splash for a £20 deposit.

Promotions and Loyalty Program For Regular Players at Spinland

Spinland compliments those that go on to become regulars at their casino with the following daily, weekly and seasonal promotions. For a small white label it's a busy calendar that gives good reasons to return to the site.

Daily Bonus Wheel

If you’ve recently played at any other sites on the White Hat Gaming network then you may have come across the Bonus Wheel promotion that is open to any player with a verified account who has made a deposit. Each day you can log in and spin the wheel to win a reward like free spins, a £5 bonus, a 50% match bonus or a 75% match bonus. Occasionally you come away with nothing but most days you’ll be awarded a prize of some kind. Most require you to deposit to trigger the reward.

This is a nice promotion which gives you an incentive to return to the site each day and find out what you could claim. The wheel looks sleek to and it’s fun to play.

The Bonus Wheel at Spinland

Loyalty Program – Convert Points Into Bonuses

Spinland run a very simple loyalty program in which all wagers are rewarded with points. Once you have accumulated enough points then they can be exchanged for bonus funds at a rate of 1,000 points to £5 bonus funds. The rate at which points are earned depends on the games you play as shown in this table:

Game TypePoints Awarded For £10 Wager
Slots2.0
Scratchcards2.0
Video Poker1.0
Blackjack0.5
Roulette0.25

(You also get 500 points when you make your first deposit on the site)

I like this loyalty program because it’s simple and transparent - you know exactly what you get each time you wager. However, it may be a bit simplistic for some people. If you want a more sophisticated program with level-ups and a store where you can exchange your points for different values of free spins and non-cash items then try 247Bet instead, also from White Hat Gaming.

Cash Prize Draws

Spinland players can also enter prize draws with big cash and non-cash prizes that are networked across more than 10 other White Hat Gaming sites. There are annual, seasonal and weekly draws, with top prizes of £30,000 cash. A breakdown of the different draws is shown in the table below.

Prize DrawDatesHow To Enter
£30,000 Annual DrawYearly, February to JanuaryDeposit £1,000 in a month and wager £500,000 to earn 1 ticket for the draw
£10,000 DrawFeb to April, May to July, August to OctoberDeposit £500 and wager £100,000 to earn 1 ticket for the draw
£500 DrawEvery weekDeposit £100, wager £4,000 to earn 1 ticket for the draw

Whilst the prizes are impressive keep in mind that the bar to entry in each case is high. And with players from more than 10 other sites all taking part, winning will be tough!

Bonus Terms at Spinland – Tight Wagering Requirements!

One of the few drawbacks of the bonus program at Spinland is the wagering requirements which are tight in my opinion. You can read about them in the promotions terms and conditions on the website. Wagering requirements apply to deposit match bonuses (the kind you might get from the Bonus Wheel for example).

In short, all bonus funds are held in a separate balance to cash funds. They are only transferred to cash once an amount equivalent to 35x the value of the deposit and the bonus has been wagered. So, if you deposit £10 and get a £10 bonus then you will need to wager £700 to release your bonus funds.

Whilst wagering requirements are commonplace, they are not normally that high. In comparison, 247Bet has wagering requirements of 25x the deposit plus the bonus. And Mega Riches Casino has wagering requirements of 35x the deposit value ONLY.

This will only affect you if you take up a deposit match bonus, but its something to consider if you plan to play here a lot.

Software and Games

9/10

Spinland has a wide choice of games covering slots, jackpots, live dealer, table games and ‘scratch and fun’ which is their casual gaming selection. The list is diverse and high in quality and will appeal to all types of casino players. Here is a summary of what’s on offer at Spinland.

Catalogue and Game Providers

This catalogue of games is sourced from over 100 different game providers. You can view all of them from the Providers link in the game menu. I was impressed with the quality and diversity in the list which brings together big names like NetEnt and Pragmatic Play and cult favourites like Thunderkick and Peter and Sons to ensure the widest choice of games available. I’ve picked out 10 of my own favourites from the list to show here.

Online Slots

A large part of the game list it taken up by slots, more than 4,000 in fact. This puts Spinland in the mid-range of casinos for slots in the UK. Bigger lists can be found at sites like Mega Riches (5,000+) or Play OJO (7,000+).

All types of slots are available including new games added every month as well as all time classics like Starburst, Big Bass Bonanza, Dead or Alive and Immortal Romance. Game formats include Megaways, cluster pays, scatter pays, 3 reels, Infinity Reels and Hold and Win.

RTP Rates and Transparency

Return to Player rates at Spinland are fair, if not optimal, with many set to around 94% where the highest available rate is 96%. Here are some examples:

  • Book of Dead (Play n Go): 94.25%
  • Big Bass Bonanza (Pragmatic Play): 94.02%
  • Mental 2 (Nolimit City): 94.04%
  • Hand of Anubis (Hacksaw Gaming): 94.32%
  • Bamboo Ways (Push Gaming): 94.43%

I have seen these games running at 90% or less at some UK casinos so whilst Spinland aren’t providing the optimum RTP rates, they are still offering better than some rivals.

Some sites now publish a full list of their games along with RTP rates on their sites. Unfortunately, Spinland do NOT do this. To check any RTP rate you will have to open the game and browse to the game info screen.

Jackpot Slots

The progressive jackpots selection at Spinland numbers over 200. Most of these are taken from five popular networks – Mega Moolah, Jackpot King, WowPot, King Millions and Dream Drop.

This is an interesting spread of games giving players many exciting opportunities to play for those dream payouts. I enjoyed the presentation of this list with a ticker at the top displaying the total prizes available – over £180,000,000 at time of writing – and the individual jackpot amounts shown on each game logo. Not all sites do this and it’s a great way to help you choose which game you want to try your luck on.

Here are 5 of the best progressive slots to try at Spinland.

Live Dealer

Spinland, as the name suggests, is big on slots, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t games for the live dealer fans too. The action here comes courtesy of two providers – Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play – with high quality video streaming and a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Live Casino lobby at Spinland
Evolution Gaming's Live Casino lobby at Spinland

Each provider has their own dedicated lobby accessible via any of their games listed under ‘Live Casino’ in the game menu. Players are pooled from 1000s of casinos worldwide and there is a vast array of blackjacks, roulettes, baccarats, pokers and gameshows. There are many different formats of all these games and stakes from 20p up to £100s per hand.

The live dealer experience is very exciting and Spinland have teamed up with the very best providers to deliver it. It’s all about giving classic casino games a fresh twist with exciting side bets and bonus rounds for added thrills. And you get all of that here.

Table Games

As live dealer has grown in popularity, virtual table games have been overlooked at some online casinos, but Spinland does not make that mistake. It has a modest collection of around 50 good quality games covering blackjack, roulette and poker. Particular favourites of mine include Evolution Gaming’s First Person Blackjack with its smart, modern interface, and Switch Studio’s Multifire Roulette Wildfire with extra multipliers of up to 200x.

Other Games

Spinland rounds off its game catalogue with a fun and varied selection of alternative instant wins, Slingos, plinkos, arcade games, crash games and scratchcards. You can find these listed under ‘Scratch and Fun’. Far from being an afterthought, this is a nicely curated area of the game menu.

My own favourites include the Slingos that sound like your favourite slots including Book of Slingo and Slingo Starburst. The plinkos are also worth a mention as they are growing in popularity, bringing a niche offline game experience into the online world. My recommendation would be Hacksaw Gaming’s Plinko Dare To Win with up to 16 rows available creating top wins of 3623.8x.

Game Menu, Search and Filter Options

Whilst I’m a big fan of the game choice at Spinland I found the game menu to be quite basic. There are some good top-level filters like ‘New’, ‘Popular’ and ‘Big Bass’ but that is as far as it goes. It makes it difficult to break down and explore such a sprawling list. It’s an area that could be improved on.

Website and App Experience

5/10

Brand, Theme and Design

Spinland Casino launched back in 2017 with a very basic theme and design based around a cartoon landscape with a Vegas style gambling city in the middle, and buildings made up of casino chips. Characters from famous slot games, including Gonzo and Hendrix, appear too. For me it has a toy town style that doesn’t appeal, and it certainly looks to be at the lower end of the market. If you just want a cheap and cheerful slot site it may be fine for you, but the later casinos from this operator, including Jackpot Village and 247Bet, are far smarter and high-end.

Spinland Home Page
Spinland Home Page - basic and a bit dated

Site UX and Navigation

Looks aside, Spinland is functionally sound and relatively easy to find your way around with clear top-level navigation and colorful game logos set against a white background. Sign-up is also straight forward, taking no more than a few minutes to complete.

However, once registered I did find the account area to be a little tricky to understand as the navigation is confusing and the font sizes were so small. In addition, links to the Responsible Gambling tools are all mixed up with long paragraphs of text explaining how they work which is not ideal.

In short, Spinland does not feel as slick and well-thought out as later White Hat websites. Cranky sites like this don’t inspire confidence and if I didn’t know the operator, I would be hesitant about registering here on this basis.

Loading times

When browsing Spinland on desktop on a standard home Wifi connection I found the site load times were acceptable. I did notice some lag as I browsed between pages, normally 2 to 3 seconds, which is OK but can be a little frustrating if you spend more than a few minutes on the site. The biggest and best casinos don’t have this issue. They load up in just 1 or 2 seconds every time.

Mobile Compatibility and Apps

If you want to play Spinland on your mobile you have two choices – use your browser or download an app (for both Apple iPhone and Android). I tried both. The experience was mixed. On a basic level the site and app both work fine but significant delays when loading content in some areas of the site might put me off using this casino on mobile again.

Spinland on a Mobile Browser

On my iPhone 12 with iOS 18 installed the site loaded nicely into my browser and was easy enough to navigate. One significant issue I encountered was browsing between game categories on the main menu. There was a long lag time whilst waiting for the game list to drop in, sometimes 4 or 5 seconds. Once the games were showing there were no further delays when scrolling the list or choosing a game. However, it was annoying waiting for the list initially. Other functions like the account pages and responsible gambling tools all worked as expected, albeit with the same design shortfalls that I encountered on desktop.

Spinland on Mobile App

On the same iPhone the app downloaded in seconds. It requires an iOS of 14.0 (September 2020) or later to work. Unusually for a casino app, Spinland has no reviews. The version on Google Play has just 6 reviews and an average score of 1.0.

The app worked much the same as the website on mobile with the same slow load times when flicking between game categories. But everything else worked as expected.

Payment Options, Minimum Transactions and Fees

I found the cashier at Spinland to be excellent. It offers a wider range of payment services than other casinos, has a low deposit threshold at £10, and no fees. Payment options include debit cards, several eWallets including Paypal and Skrill, Trustly and Paysafecard. There is also Apple Pay for those who are using the app on their mobile device.

Payout Speed

The withdrawal times at Spinland are reasonable during the week, usually handled within 24 hours from Monday to Friday and in my experience of White Hat sites, on occasion you can get your funds within just a few hours. However, there are no weekend withdrawals so any payment requested on a Friday evening won’t be processed until the following Monday, or Tuesday if it’s a bank holiday.

If you prefer a site that handles withdrawals 7 days a week then check our list of fast withdrawal casinos.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks

All licensed casinos in the UK must carry out KYC checks on their players to prevent fraud, underage gambling and problem gambling. At Spinland checks are carried out at the following times:

On Registration – your personal details will be verified automatically with publicly held data to ensure that you are the legal age for gambling and your ID and address match the records.

On Deposit and Withdrawals – if you go on to deposit or withdraw to pre-defined thresholds (usually around £1,000) then you will be asked to provide documents to verify your ID, age and source of funds. Documents can be uploaded via a secure link on the account page.

One of more of the following documents may be requested:

  • Photo ID – driver license or passport sent as scan or photo
  • Proof of address – utility bill or bank statement sent as scan, photo or screenshot
  • Proof of payment method – bank statement, eWallet statement or bank card sent as scan, photo or screenshot
  • Proof of source of funds – bank statement or pay slip sent as scan, photo or screenshot

The process for KYC checks is outlined in the terms and conditions and under ‘Account’ in the Help Center. I uploaded documents to verify my own account. Checks were completed within 24 hours with confirmation showing on the document upload page as you can see in this screenshot. Overall I found the experience to be smooth, efficient and quick.

Customer Support

9/10

Contacting Support

  • Email (24/7)support@spinland.com
  • Live Chat (24/7) – via the ‘Support’ link – click on ‘Live Chat’
  • Phone Support – Not available
  • FAQs – via the ‘Contact Us’ link – head to the ‘Help Center’

The support services at Spinland are good. There is live chat, email and a comprehensive Help Center / FAQs, though no phone line. There is also a clear path to escalate a complaint if you are unhappy with the response you get. This is the same set up that you get at all White Hat Gaming sites and I find it to be professional and efficient.

Live Chat and Email - I’ve used live chat and it benefits in this case from being staffed by real people rather than AI bots. The wait times are usually under 2 minutes and the team are always friendly and well-trained. It takes longer to get a response to an email – up to 24 hours – but if you don’t want to speak to an agent direct, it is an option.

Help Centre - this is useful for standard queries relating to your account, verification or bonuses. It’s the same set up for all White Hat sites and its very comprehensive.

A Clear Complaints Procedure With The Option To Use an official ADR If Required

Spinland clearly outline the procedure for raising a complaint if you are unhappy with the level of service provided at any time. This is sign-posted from the footer in a link labelled, ‘Complaints and Procedures’. It takes you to the Disputes section of the terms and conditions.

This is important because it provides assurance that you have a formal path to escalate if you are unhappy with the response you get from Spinland. These are the key points to know:

  • The support team are always the initial point of contact for any issue and they will try to resolve it. If the agent you speak to does not provide a satisfactory response, the complaint is escalated to a team leader.
  • If you are not satisfied with the response from a team leader then the complaint is escalated to the Complaints team and assigned a Case ID.
  • Spinland commit to responding quickly to any complaint and seeking resolution within 28 days, though more complex scenarios may take up to 8 weeks.
  • Spinland have nominated eCorga as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider (ADR) to adjudicate in the event of a deadlock between the customer and the casino. These cases are rare but eCorga is the most commonly used ADR for these situations. They are well-respected and provide a free, fair and impartial service.

Player Protection and Trust

9/10

Spinland operates under a UK license which means that the following features are in place to ensure safety, security and fair play for all customers. I checked them all to see how Spinland was meeting the high standards set by the regulator.

UK License Information – Spinland publishes the operator’s license number and company details (White Hat Gaming Ltd) in the footer across their website. You can easily click through to view license information, including history, on the Gambling Commission website.

Responsible Gambling Tools Spinland provides an array of tools to allow players to self-regulate their gambling. These include deposit limits, time-outs, payday time-outs and self-exclusions. The page housing these tools is easily accessible wherever you are on the site but they are poorly presented on the page with important links to set limits buried in paragraphs of text.

Game Testing – all the providers whose games appear at Spinland are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. That means the games are regularly audited by independent test houses who check the pay models and verify RTP rates.

Site Security – the website is operating over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection which means all personal and financial data is encrypted and protected from interception by 3rd parties.

Bonus Terms – all promotions are subject to fair and transparent terms and conditions. Each offer has its own set of terms and there are generic Promotional Terms and Conditions which set out the wagering requirements and related game weightings for bonuses. The 35x wagering requirements applied at Spinland are tough, but they are not outside of the usual range for the industry.

Data Protection – a Privacy and Cookie notice published on the website outlines how data is collected and handled in line with UK law.

Know Your Customer Checks – all accounts are verified and financial background checks are made in line with the casino’s social responsibility and anti-money laundering commitments.

Insolvency Protection – Spinland states in its terms and conditions that player balances are held separately to the main operator business funds for protection in case of insolvency. Their set up meets the definition of ‘medium protection’ according to UK Gambling Commission definitions.

Dispute Resolution – we have already outlined in this review the process by which a player can turn to eCorga, a Dispute Resolution Provider, to escalate a complaint that cannot be resolved to their satisfaction by the casino.

This is everything I would expect from a licensed online casino in the UK. All the important safety features and operational procedures are there, and for the most part, well placed and well executed.

What Others Say - Reviews From Players and Consumer Sites

There are several popular online platforms where players can leave reviews of their experiences at casinos. We look at TrustPilot, CasinoMeister and Ask Gamblers to find out what people are saying about Spinland.

TrustPilot

Average score of 1.7/5 from 80 reviews (5 star - 14%, 1 star - 81%).

This is described as a ‘Bad’ rating by Trustpilot. We should be careful not to read too much into this score because it is taken from a very small sample of 80 reviews since 2018.

In 2025 most negative comments complain about slow account verification and withdrawals. This is very common for Trustpilot reviews of casinos. One person also says they were denied the sign-up bonus for failing to opt-in at deposit. Positive reviews mention fast withdrawals, the big game list, the quality of the loyalty program and the simplicity of the website.

In short, a mixed bag and just what you might expect for a small white label casino.

Read reviews of Spinland at Trustpilot

Ask Gamblers

7.9/10 on the in-house Casino Rank algorithm (an automated ranking tool that bases its scores on a combination of criteria including the games, cashier, support hours and player reviews at AskGamblers). This is a good score, above average for a UK casino at AskGamblers.

6.6/10 from 23 player reviews – like Trustpilot, AskGamblers doesn’t show many player reviews for Spinland. The most recent is 2 years ago and concerns a complaint about the tough wagering restrictions, something we pick up on in our review too.

Notes

  • Grand Ivy is an older White Hat Gaming casino (2015) but it has been re-built and benefits from an elegant theme and design. Casumo is a big, independent casino with a strong brand identity and a great-looking website and app.
  • The profile of Grand Ivy and Spinland is very similar but Grand Ivy has more games and offers a very good match bonus in the sign up package, capped at £300. However, unlike Spinland, the free spins come with wagering requirements.
  • Casumo is a more modern site and brand than the White Hat ones. It offers sports betting as well as a casino, the app experience is better and it has it’s own exclusive progressive jackpots and branded live dealer tables.
  • Casumo also has more promotional events including fully integrated reel races with live leaderboards.
  • The wagering requirements are slightly better at Casumo at 30x the bonus plus deposit rather than 35x.

In conclusion, if I was sticking with White Hat Gaming and looking for an alternative to Spinland, preferably one with a smarter website, I would choose Grand Ivy. But if you are prepared to move away from the White Hat experience and try an independent casino, Casumo makes an excellent choice.

Our Verdict

Spinland is a classic White Hat Gaming site. Its strengths are a massive game list and a professional, efficient services in all areas from cashier to support. However, like a few sites on this label, it has dated over the years. Whilst the website could do with some attention and the promotions calendar would benefit from freshening up, this is still an adequate option for anyone looking for a slot site with with plenty of games and a generous sign-up package.
