About Slotnite

Slotnite is a relatively new face in the world of online slot sites having launched in only 2019 with a fun design and hugely impressive collection of games. It is run by White Hat Gaming, a leading gambling operator with more than 30 domains under its UK license. The platform is robust and stacked with great slots and live dealer tables. Slot Nite runs with a competitive bonus that includes up to £100 match and 100 spins on NetEnt’s Aloha! Cluster Pays.

What We Liked

  • Nice sign-up deal with £10 minimum deposit and 100 Aloha! spins
  • Big jackpot slots selection including all the main progressive groups
  • £10 minimum deposit on most payment options
  • Good response times on customer support
  • Automated KYC

What We Didn't like

  • Site is a little cumbersome and snaggy in places
  • Some withdrawals processed over night

Sign Up Offer 8/10

  • 100% up to £100 and 100 free spins on Aloha! Cluster Pays

The minimum deposit to receive this offer is £10. Your free spins come as batches of 20 over 5 days with a wagering requirement of 35x on the winnings and a maximum cash out of £50.

Is this a good offer?

Thanks to a low minimum deposit threshold of just £10 and a sweetener of 100 free spins added to the deal, Slot Nite’s welcome offer scores high. The wagering terms are quite strict at 35x the bonus PLUS deposit. If you want better at a White Hat Gaming site then you can head to PlayGrand where the wagering requirements of 35x apply to the value of the bonus ONLY, though the free spins deal is smaller with just 30 Reactoonz spins to play.

Alternatively, if you plan to deposit more than £100 then we recommend you visit Temple Nile where you get 100% up to £300 and 60 Eye of Horus spins with a £20 deposit. Or Dream Vegas where you get 100% up to £300 and 150 spins on Starburst or Aloha! Cluster Pays when you deposit £20 or more.

Here is the Slot Nite sign up deal compared with others in the UK right now.

Website UX & Registration 7/10

Slotnite is a typical white label casino. The branding is simple and the website is clean and functional though it lacks the finesse of a big independent name like Casumo or Leo Vegas. The illustrative style and the name suggest the designers may have taken their inspiration from the popular social game, Fortnite.

Functionally, the Slotnite site performs well. It loads up quickly and I found registration and the cashier to be very easy to use. Important pages like Terms and Conditions, Promotions, Responsible Gambling and Support are all just one click from any page on the site. There is the occasional snag. For example, it would have been preferable to have a quick ‘My Account’ link at the top of the screen for quick access, but it’s only available via the main drop down. Also, on several occasions we got caught in a log in / log out loop when trying to open a game.

But on balance, the Slotnite site performs adequately for usability.

Registration and First Deposit

Registration took less than 40 seconds. It’s a simple form with just 3 steps. You’ll need to input your full name and address, email address, phone number and date of birth, as well as choosing a username and password.

I received a cranky-looking text welcome email from Slotnite with broken images in it. It’s a small point, but it’s not a great look for a first communication from your new casino.

Nevertheless, I clicked the link and I was signed up and ready to go with my first deposit.

I deposited £10 with Paypal and received my £10 match bonus immediately without any issues. Slotnite asks you to ‘opt-in’ to bonuses. I like this set up as it allows me to reject any bonus that I don’t want due to restrictive gameplay or withdrawal terms.

Opting into a bonus at Slotnite
Bonuses are opt-in at Slotnite

The account page is easy to read but progress towards meeting your wagering requirements is shown as a % rather than a cash value. Personally, I find that hard to understand. I would rather see this clearly in GBP. I don’t know what 0.6% equates to in GBP and it feels deliberately opaque.

I got my first 20 free spins to play Aloha! Cluster Pays. Again, it doesn’t clearly state in the account that my spins are for Aloha! which may be confusing. If you don’t know, you might open the wrong game, or not claim them at all.

I spun 20 times and won 60p in bonus funds.

Online Slots 9/10

The slots catalogue at Slotnite features games from more than 100 suppliers and almost all the big names are represented including NetEnt, Push Gaming, Barcrest, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, Blueprint Gaming, Relax Gaming, IGT and Nolimit City. There are a few names missing like Quickspin, Yggdrasil and Novomatic but for the most part your favourites will be available.

You can click the ‘Provider’ link to find a full list.

Slotnite Games Menu

Jackpot Slots

Slotnite is a strong choice for jackpot fans with 158 titles under the ‘Jackpot’ tab in the menu. Under here you will find the Dream Drop games from Relax Gaming, the Mega Moolah series from Microgaming, the Jackpot King games from Blueprint Gaming and a long list of Must Go Jackpots from Red Tiger. There was no Mega Fortune from NetEnt however.

New Slots

Slotnite is keeping its slots lobby up to date with the latest titles too. Checking the ‘new’ games tab we found recent releases including Transylvania Night of Blood by Red Tiger and Wild Outlaws by Light and Wonder, both of which were less than 7 days out of the box.

Megaways Slots

There is no separate category for Megaways slots at Slotnite. However, if you type ‘Megaways’ into the search bar you will bring up a full list of available games. There were 43 in this category when we reviewed the casino. That isn’t a huge choice – there are literally 100s of Megaways games on the market – but there are still some classics in there including Big Bass Bonanza Megaways and Buffalo Rising Megaways.

If you want more Megaways choice then we recommend All British Casino from L and L Europe with over 130 games.

Slingo Games

Slotnite features 37 games from the Slingo Originals label. Slingo is a hybrid of slots and bingo. There are unique Slingo games like Slingo Riches and Slingo Extreme, and also co-branded games made with big slots providers like Slingo Sweet Bonanza (Pragmatic Play) or Starburst Slingo (NetEnt).

You can find more places to play Slingo on our Slingo Sites page.

Game Menu and Game Experience

The game menu is easy to use and will feel familiar to anyone who has played at other White Hat Gaming sites like Temple Nile for example. There are some useful categories like New, Drops and Wins, and Must Go, and an option to browse by provider, but there are no sophisticated search and filter options to find games with a particular variance, paylines or theme.

The game window itself is rudimentary with no option to search for other games without going back to the main site. However there is a Quick Deposit option that allows you to deposit without leaving the game. You can also view the net position (wins minus wagers) from your current session at the bottom of the screen which is useful.

There is a quick deposit option from the game window – top right

Overall, the Slotnite list stands up to scrutiny but if you need more games and a more sophisticated way to search them there are other options – you could try Play OJO where there are over 4,000 slots, or Casumo, which has over 3,000 for example.

Slots RTP at Slotnite

Slot providers now produce games with a range of settings and leave it to the casino operator to choose which setting to run the games at. We verified the RTP of 10 slots at Slotnite that we know to have more than one available RTP setting to see which level this casino had chosen. This is what we found.

NOTE: These settings were verified on 23rd May 2023.

For the slot games we looked at, Slotnite had chosen to run the games at the upper end of the RTP range. For some games the RTP was set to the optimum level. This included Play n Go’s Book of Dead which is often run at a much lower RTP. In conclusion, Slotnite performs well for slots RTP.

The best performing site in this category is Mr Q where ALL games we verified ran at the optimum RTP.

Live Dealer 7/10

The live casino zone at Slotnite is divided up between Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play tables. Both providers operate shared lobbies with players pooled from 1,000s of online casinos across the globe. There are no tables exclusive to Slotnite.

Evolution is the bigger of the two providers offering up over 150 Blackjacks with stakes ranging from £1 up to £5,000 across many formats including Power, Infinite, Speed and VIP Blackjack. The roulette selection is 15 tables. There is no limit on how many players can be at each and you’ll often see 1,000s at popular tables like Lightning Roulette or Immersive Roulette. You can bet up to £10,000 per hand on the Hindi tables.

The other popular part of the Evolution lobby is the Gameshow zone with games like Crazy Time, Dream Catcher and Mega Ball.

Pragmatic Play’s lobby is less extensive but offers a good alternative. There are 50 Blackjacks with stakes also capped at £5,000, and 10 roulettes, 25 Baccarats and 6 Gameshows. There is no Sicbo or Poker.

Pragmatic Play’s biggest live game is Sweet Bonanza Candyland, a live version of the slot game, worth checking out if you are a slots fan wanting to try live but not sure where to start.

If you are looking for a more varied live dealer selection then you could try one of the Skill on Net sites like Play OJO which features tables from Authentic and Stake Logic as well as Evolution.

Loyalty Promotions 6/10

Like most white labels, Slotnite does not offer the same level of promotions as big independent casinos. There are no daily, weekly or monthly offers advertised on their site.

However, they do have a loyalty program called XP Points in which every deposit and wager earns you points. Through these points you move through levels with bigger and better bonuses at each step. You can track your progress in the XP Level Bar shown in this screen shot.

Whilst I like the concept of a loyalty program like this with level-ups and rewards, the XP scheme lacks good definition. The points awarded are described in the terms and conditions as ‘discretionary’ and without a ‘pre-determined’ reward rate of points to spend. That means you don’t know how much you need to spend to reach each level and the casino can change the configuration whenever they want.

In short, player promotions at Slotnite are adequate, if a little underwhelming.

Cashier Options 7/10

The cashier at Slotnite is efficient and functional. It pops out in front of the site in an overlay and is simple to use. All of the most popular payment services are available with the exception of Apple Pay or Google Pay. The minimum deposit and withdrawal value is just £10 and there are no transaction fees.

Here are the deposit and withdrawal options with minimum transaction levels for each.

Payout Speed 7/10

We tested the withdrawal process at Slotnite with Paypal. These are the results:

  • £10 to Paypal on Tuesday at 15.06 – funds received Wednesday at 12.05pm – 20 hours 59 minutes
  • £10 to Paypal on Wednesday at 14.52 – funds received Wednesday at 20.29pm – 5 hours 37 minutes

Both withdrawals were processed in under 24 hours, and one in less than 6 hours. This is about average for a UK slot site. You wouldn’t want to play at any site that regularly takes longer than 24 hours to process a withdrawal.

Customer Support 8/10

Customer support is available at Slotnite on live chat and email.

Response times on live chat were quick.

I contacted the live chat support team 4 times over a 2-day period. On each occasion I was first in the queue and the response time was under 30 seconds. The agents were knowledgeable. I fired over a few questions regarding withdrawal limits and times and account verification and always got the correct information in good time.

One of the small quirks of the White Hat Gaming support system is that the first time you use live chat you will need to enter all your personal details to verify yourself before they share account information. This is annoying but you can then set a 4-digit pass code that you can use in future.

KYC Process 9/10

The White Hat Gaming platform on which Slotnite runs utilises 3rd party agencies (like Experian) to verify your ID (name), age and address when you register. Your details will be checked against public and private databases behind the scenes. This happens at every online slot site you register with and usually means you can register, deposit and play instantly.

If you go on to become a regular depositor and make significant deposits or withdrawals then you may be asked to provide document scans like copies of your passport, driver license and utility bills. At Slotnite there is an automated tool on the site which uses AI to read documents which means KYC checks can be completed in minutes rather than days.

License & Reputation 7/10

Slotnite is owned and operated by White Hat Gaming limited who are based in Malta and have offices in the UK and US as well. They are licensed in Malta and the UK and several US states too.

Here are White Hat Gaming’s license details for the UK:

Regulatory Action

White Hat Gaming were investigated in March 2019 over their anti-money laundering and responsible gambling procedures and policies. These were found to be inadequate and White Hat Gaming agreed to pay £1.3 million towards the National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Harms in lieu of a fine. You can find out more in this Statement of Facts published on the UK Gambling Commission website.

White Hat is one of a large number of UK-licensed sites who have been issued with fines relating to AML and responsible gambling failures in the last 5 years. As a result they have cleaned-up their business practices and now carry out much stricter affordability and verification checks. We believe that they are still a trustworthy and safe operator to gamble with.

Consumer Reviews Across the Web

Slot Nite has an average score of 2.3/5 on Trustpilot from 44 reviews (10.01.23).

This is a below average score and includes 66% 1/5 scores and just 23% 5/5 scores. Most complaints regard verification processes and withdrawals that are slow as a result. There are a few stellar reviews in there as well. It is a little concerning that the support team does not bother to respond to cases on TrustPliot. Bigger casinos keep an eye out and respond to complaints.

We also checked the review score for Slotnite at Ask Gamblers where it received a solid 7.4/10 from just 12 player reviews. Player comments are generally favourable and reflect a good customer experience on the site.

Our Verdict 7.5/10

Slotnite is a good mid-level white label casino with a strong selection of slots, jackpot games and live dealer tables from most of the big names in the industry. It’s more cheap and cheerful than other sister sites on the White Hat label like Temple Nile or Dream Vegas, and the website can feel clunky in places. But a good cashier with £10 minimums and a professional and speedy support service suggest you will be well looked-after here.
