Sign Up Offer

7/10

  • 100% match bonus up to £50
  • 50 free spins on Starburst slot

The slots welcome offer at Luckland is OK for those looking to make deposits of between £20 and £50. You will get both a bonus match and 50 Starburst spins. The wagering requirements are OK too at 40x the bonus ONLY, which is fair. If you don't like wagering restrictions at all you can always check out our free spins no wagering list.

However, if you are looking to make a deposit of under £20 and still claim a bonus then we recommend that you try an alternative site with a £10 minimum deposit threshold like PlayGrand Casino or Spin and Win.

If you are looking to deposit more than £50 then you could try Temple Nile instead where the deposit is matched up to £500.

And if Starburst doesn’t float your boat and you want spins on a wider choice of slots you could try Casiplay where you get 100 spins on a choice of Play n Go and NetEnt slots.

Here are some alternative sign up offers to compare with Luckland.

Website UX & Registration

7/10

Luckland is very much a typical Aspire Global site. It’s cheap and cheerful. The functionality remains consistent across all their sites so if you’ve played at any other you will be familiar with the registration, game menu and account pages.

The website is easy to find your way around, if a little over-crowded. The home page is stacked form one side to the other with game logos and it’s hard to distinguish between each one at first glance. However, the most important features – sign-up and log-in – are easy to see at the top of the page.

Finding Important Information

If you want to know more about how Luckland works before you sign up you can browse the important information pages from links in the site footer. These are standard Aspire Global pages that pop up in front of the main site. You can read through terms, bonus policy, FAQs, and cashout and deposit rules this way. Generally, the information is clear though a little basic in places. The deposit page doesn’t offer information on minimum per payment option for example.

Sign Up and First Deposit Bonus

Registration took us about 60 seconds in total. It is a two-step process requiring your username, password and email, followed by full name, address and date of birth. We were able to deposit and start playing without any further ID checks. The registration form is the same at every other Aspire Global site. It’s simple and very easy to follow.

Sign up at Luckland is quick and easy to do through this form

Note that you will need to ‘Opt-In’ to claim the welcome offer. Make sure you do this or you won’t receive your bonuses.

Account Pages

Once you are logged in then you are given the tools to deposit and withdraw and administer your account all from one place through the Aspire Global account page.

This is a very easy account area to use.

Real Balance and Bonus Balance are clearly separated with a Wagering Requirements value displayed underneath to show you how much more wagering you need to do to convert your bonus to cash. The Transactions link allows you to search transactions by deposits, cash outs, bets and bonuses separately. Bonuses are divided into active ones that you are using and ‘New’ which are available to claim. And all your Responsible Gambling tools are accessible so you can set deposit and loss limits, time outs and reality checks from one page.

Catalogue and Game Providers

The online slots list at Luckland totals more than 700 from 48 different providers. This will be enough to keep most slots players happy. There are popular titles from big names like NetEnt, Blueprint Gaming, Quickspin and Pragmatic Play, Eyecon, Hacksaw Gaming, Microgaming and Play n Go.

However, there are also some notable exceptions. Scanning the list there are no games by Nolimit City, Push Gaming or Relax Gaming for example. So, if you are a high variance fan looking for slots from one of those three studios you should try a slot site with a larger game portfolio like Play OJO or Casumo.

Luckland Game Menu
The slots game menu at Luckland

Jackpot Slots

We found only 38 progressive jackpots under the Jackpots tab. Amongst them are popular Blueprint Gaming Jackpot King slots like Genie Jackpots and Eye of Horus but NO Mega Moolah (Microgaming), Mega Fortune (NetEnt) or Dream Drop Jackpots (Relax Gaming), which is a big miss in our book.

New Slots

The best slot sites will offer the very latest games so players don't miss out on the best new titles. Luckland appear to be keeping their catalogue up to date. There were close to 100 games under the 'new' tab on the game menu. At the time of writing we found very recent releases from Stakelogic (Spartans vs Zombies), Spinomenal (Egyptian Ways) and Pragmatic Play (The Red Queen).

Megaways Slots

Luckland has 111 Megways slots on its site. To find them you will need to type ‘Megaways’ into the search bar. This will bring up the full list including classics like Fishin Frenzy Megaways, Great Rhino Megaways and Power of Thor Megaways.

If you enjoy these games and want more choice you could try PlayGrand from White Hat Gaming which features 170 games.

Slingo Games

There are 31 Slingo Games in the slots list at Luckland. This is more than we found at other Aspire Global sites. This format has really taken off in the last 5 years and there are now some exciting slots brands to enjoy including Starburst Slingo, Fluffy Favourite Slingo and Slingo Sweet Bonanza.

If you want more casinos with Slingo, then try our Slingo Sites page.

Game Menu, Search Functions and Game Window

The search functionality at Luckland is very basic. You can search by top level categories like Slots, Jackpots, New and Featured Games. There is also a search box to search by game name. It’s located at the top of the page rather than by the game menu itself which made it hard to find. However, it does allow you to enter a game provider name to pull up a list of their slots. That’s good but there is no further filter function to search by paylines or RTP for example so exploring the lists for more games you might like is not as easy as it could be.

The game window has been nicely designed to allow you to make a quick deposit, search for a new game to play and browse recommended games without leaving the game you are currently in. You can also view your balance and session time from here which is useful. Overall, this gives you more functionality than you will find at other sites.

Slots RTP at Luckland

Some slot games have more than one RTP setting. It is left at the discretion of the casino operator to decide which setting to run the games on. As part of our review process we verified the RTP settings of 10 games at Luckland that have more than one available setting. This is what we found:

Slot Game Provider RTP Options RTP At Luckland
Book of Dead Play n Go 96.21%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25%, 84.18% 87.25%
Gigantoonz Play n Go 96.25%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25%, 84.25% 87.25%
Jungle Fortune Blueprint Gaming 96.0%, 94.0% 94.00%
The Stash Blueprint Gaming 96.0%, 94.08% 94.08%
The Doghouse Multihold Pragmatic Play 96.06%, 95.14%, 94.1% 94.10%
Big Bass Bonanza Pragmatic Play 96.71%, 95.67%, 94.02%, 90.63% 90.63%
Diamond Sands Just For The Win 96.08%, 94.11%, 92.23% 92.23%
Western Gold 2 Double Barrel Just For The Win 96.15%, 94.20%, 92.20% 92.20%
Undead Fortune Hacksaw Gaming 96.29%, 94.40%, 92.28%, 88.55% 92.28%
Hand of Anubis Hacksaw Gaming 96.24%, 94.32%, 92.28%, 88.41% 92.28%

NOTE: These RTP settings were verified on 23rd May 2023.

Luckland does not perform well for slots RTP. Most of the games we verified were running at mid to low settings, often lower than you will find at most other UK casinos. If RTP is a big deal in choosing where to play then you might want to consider other slot sites from our lists. In particular, Play n Go games are being run at very low settings here.

We recommend Mr Q where all games we verified were running at the maximum RTP.

Find out more about why RTP matters in this guide: Slots RTP Explained.

Live Dealer

7/10

The live dealer selection at Luckland is provided by Evolution Gaming with full access to the Evolution lobby which a wide selection of Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Sic Bo, Gameshow and Poker. The choice is huge with a big range of game formats and stake sizes for each game type. For example, there are over 100 Blackjack tables and over 20 roulette tables. There is also a VIP area with stakes of up to £1,000 per hand.

Partnering up with Evolution Gaming has allowed Luckland to offer this massive choice because the tables are pooled with other casinos including more in the Aspire Global group. That means you may be playing with punters from other sites. If you want to play somewhere with exclusive, branded tables, then we recommend a site like Betfred Games instead.

Loyalty Promotions

6/10

Luckland have several ongoing events advertised on their promotions pages. Most of these are built around slots play.

At the time of writing there was a March Madness tournament with £20,000 in prizes on offer for playing games from Pragmatic Play, Microgaming and Spinomenal amongst others. There was also a network-wide Pragmatic Play tournament called Drops and Wins – which can be found at many other sites – and a Mega Fun Break offer where players use a special deposit bonus code to claim a match bonus of 20% for deposits up to £50, 30% for deposits up to £100, and 40% for deposits over £100.

There is no reference to a loyalty program on the Luckland site.

In summary, the player promotions are fairly limited. For a more generous and interesting set of offers we recommend Casumo casino.

Cashier Options

7/10

Deposits start at £20 at Luckland and most major payment services are covered in the cashier including debit cards and eWallets like Paypal and Skrill, but no Neteller. There are no mobile payment services yet, so no ApplePay, GooglePay or BOKU.

Here are the options available to you and fees associated. Remember, if you choose Skrill you will not be eligible for the bonus.

Payment Service Minimum Deposit Deposit Fee Minimum Withdrawal Withdrawal Fee
Visa and Mastercard £20 0% £10 0%
Trustly £20 0% £10 0%
Bank Transfer £20 0% £10 0%
Paypal £20 0% £10 0%
Skrill £20 0% £10 0%
Paysafecard £20 0% N/A N/A
MuchBetter £20 0% £10 0%

Payout Speed

8/10

Luckland has a cashout policy page and provides estimated cashout times for each payment service. However, these are very broad. For example, Paypal may take anywhere between ‘instant and 2 days’. So, we tested the process ourselves to find out how long it would take.

  • £10 to Paypal on Tuesday 12.05 – funds received Tuesday at 13.38 – 1 hour 33 mins

This is a very fast withdrawal time.

Customer Support

6/10

Customer Support at Luckland can be reached via live chat and email only. There is no phone line option. The team is also only available between 8am and Midnight CET each day. You can also try the FAQ page of the website whilst you wait to speak to an agent.

We contacted the team on live chat at both off-peak and peak times (6pm onwards). The waiting time was relatively short at under 2 minutes. However, the answers to our questions appeared to initially be auto-generated by an AI bot which was frustrating. So there was no bespoke reponse to a question about withdrawal times. And when we asked a question about Relax Gaming slots it took 10 minutes to be told they weren’t available.

Like many site it appears Luckland support is good if you ask it the right questions, but can be troublesome if you go off-script.

KYC Process

8/10

Most players will be able to register, deposit and make small withdrawals without providing any extra documentation to Luckland. However, if your deposits or withdrawals hit the required threshold, you may be asked to go through further KYC checks to verify your ID and/or payment method. To do so you will need to provide the following documents:

  • Passport and drivers license
  • Proof of address through utility bills or council tax bills
  • Proof of payment service via a scan of your bank card

Like many casinos, Luckland allows you to do this through your account page as shown in this screen shot. This is a simple process – I uploaded a driver license scan which was approved in under 5 minutes.

License and Reputation

7/10

Luckland is owned and operated by Aspire Global Ltd (trading as AG Communications Ltd), a reputable operator who own are licensed by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.

This is their licensing information:

In total, Aspire operate close to 100 gaming sites under their Malta license, including domains in Spinshake, Playluck and Casiplay too.

Regulatory Action

Aspire Global were fined £237,600 by the UK Gambling Commission in November 2022 for anti-money laundering failures. Checks carried out by the company regarding source of funds related to six of their white label business partners were found to have been inadequate. You can read more here. The company has since taken steps to correct the issue and no further action has been taken.

Consumer Reviews Across the Web

Luckland does not score well at Trust Pilot, another consumer review site. The casino scores a 2.1/5 on average across 30 reviews from real players. Most complaints regard slow payouts, and one does mention poor website UX.

The site also scores below average at Ask Gamblers where the website’s writers give it a 6.84/10 and the real players give it an average score or 5.9/10 from 19 reviews. It was a positive to see here that the Luckland support team are actively responding to player comments on the Ask Gamblers site.

Our Verdict

Overall, Luckland is a solid UK slot site. It has a good selection of mainstream slots from the big name providers and will accept your payments through the most popular cashier services. The website is of a reasonable standard and works efficiently for the key processes of sign up, deposit, withdrawal and searching out your favourite games. There are a few big names missing from the game menu including Relax and Nolimit City, and the £20 minimum deposit will be too high for some. But if you can live with that then Luckland still has plenty to offer.
