About This Slot
TNT Tumble Dream Drop landed at the best slots sites in August 2022, following on from others in the Dream Drop series, including Volatile Vikings 2 and Temple Tumble 2. Like the others, it is a re-work of an existing Relax Gaming slot. Since launching the Dream Drop feature in May 2022, Relax have pursued this strategy of bolting the jackpot feature onto existing games. This has allowed them to push out at least one Dream Drop game per month.
So, for those who’ve played the original TNT Tumble before, the gameplay is pretty much identical. The action is set in a hillside mine with rocky, snow-capped mountains behind and lush grass and forests in the foreground. The theme is neatly interwoven with the gameplay. On five reels, as the game starts, the top four rows display pay symbols and the bottom three rows display dark stone blocks or TNT explosives. Through a process of Avalanche Wins and exploding blocks your objective is to clear the entire grid of stones and trigger the free spins round.
And of course, at any time, the Dream Drop feature may trigger to give you a chance of winning a jackpot worth in excess of £1,000,000.
In this review we explain how the game works, explore the maths model and payout frequencies, suggest alternatives for you to try and recommend more slot sites for you to play at. Read on to find out more.
RTP, Variance and Top Payout
TNT Tumble Dream Drop is a high-risk game as we have come to expect from Relax Gaming. Here is the maths from the game info sheet:
- This slot is high variance meaning wins are distributed unevenly. You may experience frustrating periods with little or no wins before a dramatic win sequence kicks in with high value prizes.
- The top win, like other Dream Drop games, is 10,000x outside the progressive jackpots.
- The RTP of TNT Tumble Dream Drop is 94%.
- You can spin from 20p per play.
Symbols and Graphics
TNT Tumble Dream Drop replicates the original game with gemstones and wilds in the paytable. Here are the highlights.
- TNT Tumble Dream Drop is played on a 5 reel grid with 7 fixed rows.
- This is a Cluster Pays game BUT wins only trigger for HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL rows … not diagonal.
- There are just SEVEN symbols in the paytable – that’s six gemstones and the wild. The gemstones are the silver, bronze, blue, green, orange and red. The red is the highest value at 15x for seven in a row.
- Wilds pay out 50x for seven in a line as well as subbing in for all others to form wins.

Gameplay and Features
NOTE: Unlike standard slots that require players to land three or more scatters or bonus symbols to trigger free spins, in this game the objective is to destroy the darker blocks that appear in the bottom rows of the grid. When they are all destroyed, the bonus round starts.
Cluster Pays and Avalanches Wins
TNT Tumble Dream Drop is a Cluter Pays game. That means wins are triggered when three or more identical symbols land in a HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL line.
Once a win is paid, then the winning symbols are removed, and new ones drop in to replace them on the grid. The process repeats until no more wins are created.
Stacked Wilds Drill Down!
Wild Drills perform the standard function of subbing in for normal symbols to create win lines. BUT … they are NOT destroyed when appearing in a win UNTIL they reach the bottom row. These symbols are depicted with a drill tip underneath them showing that they drill down through the grid to the very lowest row.
Choice of THREE Bonus Rounds
When all the dark stone blocks in the grid are destroyed, you earn SIX free spins in three different configurations. You can choose from the three.
During the free spins round, the lower rows of dark stone blocks on the grid DO NOT re-set between free spins and associated avalanches. This gives a greater opportunity to re-trigger the bonus round by removing all dark blocks again.
- A highly volatile MULTIPLIER and PERSISTENT MULTIPLIER option. New stone blocks now contain multipliers of 1x, 2x and 3x. If they are destroyed, then their value is added to a total win multiplier applied to ALL wins throughout the round. This multiplier is persistent. That means it does not re-set until the round ends.
- A medium volatility EXTRA SPINS format gives you the chance to add more free spins to your total for the round. New blocks introduced to the grid contain 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 free spins that are added to your total when they are destroyed.
- Another high volatility option combines the two previous ones: MULTIPLIERS and EXTRA SPINS. Now new blocks contain EITHER multipliers OR extra spins.
NOTE: For every THIRD row of symbols destroyed on the grid TWO extra free spins are granted.
Dream Drop Jackpots
The Dream Drop Jackpots feature can be triggered randomly at ANY time. The execution is slightly different to other Dream Drop games.
When this happens then you will see the display area to the left of the reels with the jackpot tickers on it start to flash GOLD. Then the game grid re-populates with stone symbols and TNT blocks. In dramatic fashion, the TNT explodes row by row, removing all blocks.
If FIVE DD symbols are revealed, the Dream Drop Jackpot initiates and from here on you are GUARANTEED to win one of the five prizes.
Now a new reel set with FIVE reels appears. Each is a different row height to represent a different jackpot. To decide which prize is paid out, stone blocks and DD symbols fall into place on each reel. Then stone blocks are moved and DD symbols drop down. The process repeats until ONE reel fills with DD symbols and its corresponding jackpot pays out.
Jackpots are seeded as follows:
- Rapid: £1
- Midi: £5
- Maxi: £100
- Major: £25,000
- Mega: £1,000,000 *
*The seed value for the Mega Jackpot started at £500,000. It increases by £500,000 after every second win. This will continue until it reaches a maximum of £10,000,000.

If you like TNT Tumble Dream Drop you will also like these games.
Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop – the first in the Dream Drop series is this game. There are some similarities with TNT Tumble. Your objective is to destroy all symbols to enter the free spins round. However, this is not a cluster pays game. Instead it is a payline game with 46,656 paylines. It has a slightly higher top win at 10,045x and a 94.8% RTP. There are also persistent wilds in the free spins round to help boost your wins.
Neko Night Dream Drop – For something a big different you could try this Dream Drop game with an Asian theme and 1,024 paylines. It has a much higher standard top win or 20,000x and is full of wild multipliers (that persist in the bonus round). Its simpler gameplay than TNT Tumble but will appeal to those who enjoy their slots with lots of wilds.
Where to Play TNT Tumble Dream Drop – Further Recommendations
We also recommend these slot sites to play TNT Tumble Dream Drop on:
Casumo – One of our favourite casinos is Casumo as it offers such a huge range of games – well over 2,000 in total. These include the full range of Dream Drop jackpots and other titles from Relax. You can pick up a 100% match up to £25 when you join and 20 Book of Dead spins. Payments are accepted on debit cards and Paypal.
Casino Lab – alternatively, try Casino Lab, a Genesis Global casino with a high number of jackpot games and the full Relax Gaming suite including Money Train and the Dream Drop series. Casino Lab has a better offer than Casumo at 100% up to £100 with 300 Reactoonz spins included. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority.
TNT Tumble 2 Dream Drop is another great addition to the growing Dream Drop list.
In terms of gameplay there is little difference between this game and the original aside from the progressive jackpots. However, when choosing you should take into account the difference in RTP – the original is 96.11% compared to 94% here to account for the progressive jackpot contribution. The original also has a marginally higher top payout of 12,278x compared to 10,000x in this one.
As far as gameplay goes, we love this slot – the theme and artwork are nicely realised and the concept of destroying the entire grid to unlock free spins is a bit different and adds jeopardy to the gameplay as you near completion each time. For the biggest wins we recommend choosing the highly volatile Free Spins and Multipliers option where you can build up a decent multiplier value to apply to your wins AND add to your free spins total as you go, prolonging the bonus round as much as possible.
