TIP: To claim the sign-up bonus you must opt-in on the deposit page as you can see below. Don’t forget or you won’t receive your 100% match.

Significant Terms

Match bonus funds have a wagering requirement of 35x the bonus ONLY; Free spins winnings are in bonus money with a 35x wagering requirement; Withdrawable winnings from free spins are capped at £100.

Is This a Good Offer?

This is as good sign-up package with a good variety of bonuses and free spins to give you a real taste of what Mr Play has to offer. Of course, if you are looking to make a first deposit of more than £50 then you might want to look elsewhere – you can get up to £100 at Slotnite for example, or up to £300 at Temple Nile.

But the real sweetener here is those 100 spins on some great slot games. That is more than you get at most slot sites, though keep in mind that the £100 cap and 35x wagering requirement are quite restrictive. If you don’t like the sound of that you could head to Play OJO where you get 80 free spins to play Book of Dead with winnings in cash. We have more no wagering deals like that here.

Here are some other UK slots bonus offers for comparison.

Website UX & Registration

9/10

Mr Play is a standard Aspire Global white label site so it’s quite basic in design and functionality. It is not a big independent casino like Casumo or high street brand like Bet365.

If you have played at other Aspire sites then you will recognise the platform – registration and account pages are the same on every site, and the layout of the pages is much the same too. All the content at MrPlay sits on a white background so it is easy to read whilst game logos and buttons all stand out nicely too.

Finding Important Information

There is a ton of useful information to read as well before you sign up if you wish. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll find the usual links to Terms and Conditions, Responsible Gaming, Security, Fair Play Policy and Bonus Policy for example. These pages are pooled across all Aspire sites so they pop out from the main page but there is a dedication to detail here that suggests integrity and trustworthiness.

Registration and First Deposit

Registration is in 3 easy steps and takes just 2 minutes. You’ll need to enter your full name, choose a username and password, then provide your address, date of birth and email address. If all that information is correct then there is no further verification at this stage. You are ready to deposit and start playing slots for real.

Make sure when you deposit that you opt-in to the bonus. If you don't, then you won't receive your bonus funds or free spins.

Account Pages

The account pages will be familiar to anyone who has played at other Aspire Global sites as well. The account area is functionally very good though not as nicely designed as you find elsewhere.

You can edit your personal details, upload verification documents (for manual checking), view active bonuses, set your deposit limits and reality check times and use other responsible gambling tools, and view your transaction and games history. All from this one simple pop up. Information is clear and easy to read.

Your real money balance and bonus balance are also clearly displayed in the Account Details section along with remaining wagering requirements shown as a cash number - which is easier to understand than the percentages used at other sites.

And finally, there is also a New Bonus Offers link that is worth checking periodically as it will tell you of any deals that you are currently eligible for.

Online Slots

7/10

Catalogue and Game Providers

Compared to other white label operators, Aspire Global sites have a relatively small selection of slots. There are 700 or more to choose from and 30 or more game providers represented in the list. For comparison, consider that Skill on Net offer more than 4,500 games from over 100 providers and White Hat Gaming run with over 2,500 games from 100 or more providers.

Nevertheless, 700 is still a good number of slots to be getting on with and there are some big-name suppliers there like NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Microgaming, Red Tiger, IGT, Play n Go, Hacksaw Gaming, Quickspin, Pragmatic Play, Slingo Originals and NextGen.

High variance fans note that Nolimit City and Relax Gaming are not represented here. So, if you want to spin on games like Money Train or Tombstone RIP then you are going to have to look elsewhere.

Jackpot Slots

MrPlay are not making any attempt to push their Progressive Jackpot games. There is no Jackpots link in the game menu so you have to find them by game name instead. The selection was very small with only Blueprint Gaming’s Jackpot King slots. So, no Mega Moolah, Wow Pot, or Mega Fortune games, no Must Drops from Red Tiger, and no Dream Drop Jackpots from Relax Gaming either.

New Games

Browsing the ‘New’ game tab in the menu at MrPlay we found games that were under a week old which shows the team are keeping the lists very up to date. Pragmatic’s The Red Queen, released on the day we checked the site - 30th March 2023 – was already available. As was The Mighty Toro by Booming Games, released on 23rd March 2023.

Megaways Slots

MrPlay has only a small selection of 10 Megaways games. They are not partnered with Big Time Gaming so none of the original games are available. You can play the Scientific slots, Rainbow Riches Megaways and 88 Fortunes Megaways, or the iSoftBet ones like Majestic Gold Megaways.

If you are looking for a wider choice of Megaways slots then you might want to try BacanaPlay with more than 150 titles or Casumo with more than 170.

Slingo Games

MrPlay offers a very small selection of just 10 Slingo games. Many of the best Slingos are not listed but there are a few good ones like Slingo Starburst and Book of Slingo. If you want more choice we recommend an L and L Europe site like All British Casino which has more than 40 Slingo games.

Game Menu, Search Functions and Game Window

The game menu itself is basic at MrPlay. You can use the main menu links to search by ‘Recent’ (games you’ve just played), or ‘New’, or ‘Featured’ which are MrPlay’s own choices.

But you won’t find sophisticated search and filter tools to list by RTP, Variance or Paylines like you do at Play OJO for example. There is no option to search by game provider list either. Your main option if you want to find a game is to use the search box at the top of the game list. You can type in a game name or the name of a studio here and it will drop down a list of their games.  But that is as good as it gets.

The games themselves open in a window within the main site so you keep the top navigation. This is handy because it means you can easily open up the cashier or live chat, or click to another area of the site. However, keep in mind that when you do, you lose connection to the game you are playing.

Slots RTP at MrPlay

Some slots are created with more than one RTP setting. It is at the discretion of the casino operator to choose which setting to run the games at. We verified the RTP of 10 games that we know to have multiple RTP options to find out which setting MrPlay run the games on.

This is what we found.

Slot Game Provider RTP Options RTP At MrPlay
Book of Dead Play n Go 96.21%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25%, 84.18% 87.25%
Gigantoonz Play n Go 96.25%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25%, 84.25% 87.25%
Jungle Fortune Blueprint Gaming 96.0%, 94.0% 94.00%
The Stash Blueprint Gaming 96.0%, 94.08% 94.08%
The Doghouse Multihold Pragmatic Play 96.06%, 95.14%, 94.1% 94.10%
Big Bass Bonanza Pragmatic Play 96.71%, 95.67%, 94.02%, 90.63% 90.63%
Diamond Sands Just For The Win 96.08%, 94.11%, 92.23% 92.23%
Western Gold 2 Double Barrel Just For The Win 96.15%, 94.20%, 92.20% 92.20%
Undead Fortune Hacksaw Gaming 96.29%, 94.40%, 92.28%, 88.55% 92.28%
Hand of Anubis Hacksaw Gaming 96.24%, 94.32%, 92.28%, 88.41% 92.28%

NOTE: These RTP settings were verified on 23rd May 2023.

MrPlay does not perform well in this area. The casino is running games at lower than average RTP. In particular, the settings for Play n Go games like Book of Dead, and Just for the Win slots like Diamond Sands, are very low. If you consider RTP to be an important factor in choosing where to play and you want to spin slots by these providers then you may wish to try an alternative slot site. We recommend Mr Q where all games we verified were set to the maximum RTP.

Find out more about why RTP is important in our guide, Slots RTP Explained.

Live Dealer

8/10

The live zone at MrPlay is interesting. The games come from Evolution Gaming, Skywind Group and Authentic Gaming. Surprisingly, there are no Pragmatic Play live tables despite their presence in the slots lists.

Evolution Gaming are the biggest of the three live dealer suppliers here. If you have played live games at any online casino in the UK then you will most likely have encountered their products. All tables are shared with other casinos through their lobby. There are no tables exclusive to MrPlay. You will normally find 50,000 or more players online at any time – Evolution are that big!

As well as over 150 Blackjacks, 30 Roulettes and a collection of quality Poker, Baccarat and Sicbos, Evolution are perhaps best known for their Gameshow formats including Crazy Time, Dream Catcher and Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt.

In comparison the Authentic Gaming live suite seems downmarket. They are certainly much smaller which is why you find them at fewer casinos. They offer around 10 studio games, including Roulette and Blackjack. Perhaps their biggest draw is the live-streamed casino action from Mayfair and Chinatown casinos in London.

Skywind’s selection is small too - a handful of Blackjacks and Roulettes and no central lobby to browse a full games list.

Loyalty Promotions

7/10

The promotions pages at MrPlay offer limited choice for the slots fan. Most deals are targeted at sports bettors instead.

Pragmatic Play’s big, networked tournaments like March Madness (£20,000 in prizes) and Drops and Wins (2023-24) featuring the studio’s best slots, are promoted. You will find these at all Aspire Global sites. But there were no exclusive events listed.

There is some copy advertising weekly (and even daily!) deposit bonuses but no evidence of what those actually are. We recommend that you keep your eyes on the New Bonuses link on your account page for new deals that might pop up.

There is no advertised loyalty program at MrPlay either.

Cashier Options

8/10

The MrPlay cashier is decked-out with a full range of payment services covering the important bank cards as well as eWallets and pre-paid option. There are a few omissions – you won’t be able to deposit with ApplePay, BOKU, Googlepay or Neteller for example.

The £10 minimum deposit is better than many other casinos that have hiked theirs up to £20. However, the fees on deposits and withdrawals on debit cards (2.5%) and Paypal (3.1%) are unfair in our opinion.

Here is a summary of the payment services available to players at MrPlay.

Payment Service Minimum Deposit Deposit Fee Minimum Withdrawal Withdrawal Fee Withdrawal Processing
Visa, Mastercard £10 2.5% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
Bank Transfer £10 0.0% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
Paypal £10 3.1% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
Paysafecard £10 0.0% N/A 0% Up to 72 hours
Skrill £10 0.0% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
Trustly £10 0.0% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
Astropay £10 0.0% £10 0% Up to 72 hours
MuchBetter £10 0.0% £10 0% Up to 72 hours

Payout Speed

7/10

We tested the payout process at MrPlay. This is what we found:

Withdrawal to Paypal made at 09.48 on Wednesday processed at 17.15 on Wednesday.
Processing time – 7 hours 27 minutes.

Customer Support

7/10

You can contact the support team at Mr Play on email or live chat. There is no phone line. The support office is open between 8am and midnight CET 7 days a week. Both live chat and email form are available via the Contact Us link on the website.

There is also a very comprehensive FAQs section on the site. This is a network-wide one provided by Aspire Global which pops up above the site when you hit the FAQs link.

The live chat was reasonably good in testing. Each time we opened the chat we were put through to a real agent (not virtual assistant) in under a minute and they were friendly and helpful. However, the knowledge base was a bit suspect – one agent didn’t know about the 2.5% deposit fees on debit card and another was unsure about who Red Tiger were – so there is room for improvement.

Overall, the quality of customer service was better than we have seen at many other sites.

KYC Process

8/10

You can’t avoid KYC checks at licensed casinos if you want to become a regular depositor or make significant withdrawals. Many sites are now moving to automated tools like Hooyu to speed up the process.

MrPlay have part-automated their KYC. We were able to upload a scan of a driver license to verify my ID though the account pages. This was approved in minutes. However, the second document uploaded, a scan of a bank statement with my address on, required manual authentication and took 24 hours.

Overall, the KYC experience was OK, but not perfect.

License and Reputation

7/10

Mr Play is owned and operated by Aspire Global Ltd who are licensed in both the UK and Malta are enjoyed by players across the world.

The list of domains operating under the Malta License of Aspire Global is close to 100.

Regulatory Action

In November 2022 Aspire Global was fined £237,600 for anti-money laundering failures relating to its white label partners. Checks on source of funds from six of its partner businesses were found to be inadequate. Aspire have rectified the problem and no further action has been taken. You can read more here.

Consumer Reviews Across the Web

MrPlay gets good scores at Ask Gamblers casino player forum and review site. From 146 reviews from players the average score is 8.2. Most players seem happy with the experience. However, a few complain about slow response times from support. This is not in line with the positive experience we had in researching this review.

At Casinomeister, another respected consumer site, MrPlay scores 5.2/10 from the staff writers. They flag issues with the website navigation and withdrawal speeds.

Our Verdict

If you can get over the deposit and withdrawal fees and modest slots catalogue at MrPlay then this casino still has much to offer. Like its sister sites on the Aspire label it deals in no nonsense entertainment with great games from some top providers. The sign-up package with three bonuses and 100 spins is one of the more generous on the market right now and the fun and simple website is easy to use. In short, a great entry point to the world of Aspire Global casinos.
