Bouncy Bombs is a really fun play. The hit rate came in at a decent 28% so there were regular wins – more than 1 in 4 spins on average. For the most part they were small but on a few occasions a good mystery multiplier of 10x or 15x revealed itself to boost a win to 5x or 10x. The most common bombs were the regular ones. Mystery ones appeared only 5 or 6 times in 250 spins. And dynamic ones never showed up at all!

But the best stuff happened in the free spins rounds. These dropped twice. The first produced a win of 40.8x where 4 multiplier bombs combined to produce a 15x multiplier. The second was an indicator of just where this game can go with a 121x win and a 10x multiplier combining to produce a 1,210x win shown in the screenshot. It will be a rare treat, but right there is the powerful potential of the multiplier bombs!

A Fantasy World Slot With Strange Mushroom Men!

Hacksaw Gaming’s creative team have done a great job of creating an alternative universe here, populated by weird toadstool-jelly men who jump up and down behind and to the side of the grid, all under a night-sky lit up by aurora. In the background a gentle, ethereal soundtrack plays. The grid itself is populated by jellies and fruits, and there are plenty of cute pings and pops as winning symbols disappear of the reels. This is a far cry from Hand of Anubis or Itero, and more in the realm of Gronk’s Gems or Fear the Dark. It looks and sounds great and if you enjoy immersive games with a fairytale quality then this one could be for you.

Bouncy Bombs utilises a classic Cascading Wins mechanic mixed with a novel way to drop multipliers into the mix to boost your wins. And, in classic Hacksaw style, there are 2 free spins rounds to play for as well. 

Cascading Wins

The Cascading Wins feature triggers after every win. The winning symbols are removed from the grid and remaining ones fall into the gaps left behind. Then new symbols drop down to fill any spaces left. If more wins are created then the process repeats, and so on, until no more wins are triggered.

Bomb Multipliers 

During the game watch out for bomb multipliers that come in 3 formats and activate after a win. All visible multiplier values are added together and applied to the total win from the spin which is displayed to the above the reels. These are the bomb multiplier types:

Regular Bomb – displays a multiplier value of 2x, 3x or 4x

Revealing Bomb – displays a ‘?’ and only reveals its multiplier value when it explodes. It is 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x or 100x
